"Take no thought for your life" - Fukushima Accident Verification

Around the Tokyo Station...

Fukushima Accident Verification

According to recent reports by the Japanese Media, the confirmed sequence of the Fukushima Daiichi accident is as follows:

The No.1 Reactor Unit
March 11, 2011:
14:46 - M9.0 Earthquake

15:30 - Great Tsunami

        - The Isolation Condenser starts malfunction.

19:00 - The reactor core starts to melt down.

March 12:
5:46 -  A fire engine starts to pour water into the reactor vessel.

15: 36 - Hydrogen explosion

------------------------------------------

The No.3 Reactor Unit
March 11, 2011:
14:46 - M9.0 Earthquake

15:30 - Great Tsunami

16:03 - The Reactor Core Isolation Cooling System starts to be manually operated.

March 12:
11:36 - The Reactor Core Isolation Cooling System halts.

12:35 - The High Pressure Core Injection System starts automatically.

March 13:
2:42 - The High Pressure Core Injection System is halted manually.

9:00 - The reactor core starts to melt down.

9:25 - A fire engine starts to pour water into the reactor vessel.

March 14:
11:01 - Hydrogen explosion

------------------------------------------

In summary, due to an accident if a cooling system of a nuclear reactor unit is stopped, the nuclear fuel inside the reactor unit starts to melt down within several hours after losing the fuel cooling function.  And, then hydrogen explosion occurs in a day or so after the start of meltdown even if some water is poured into the reactor unit with an ad-hoc means.

Now the big argument is going on in Japan as to whether there was a possibility or a chance to stop the hydrogen explosions that occurred on March 12 and March 14.  And, it is now investigated by a special committee set up by the parliament why Tokyo Electric Corporation (TEPCO), the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, and the emergency response team led by the then Prime Minister Mr. Kan could not prevent the hydrogen explosions.

The Japanese Government renewed the radioactive contamination map:

Tokyo has narrowly escaped the radioactive material fallout, though northward neighboring Chiba Prefecture is somehow influenced.  Apparently Fukushima Prefecture suffers Cesium 134/137 fallout though higher-concentration is limited in the northwest area from the Fukushima Daiichi plant.

A Recent Aerial View of Fukushima Daiichi; the No.1 reactor unit is now covered by newly built outer walls.

The change in the temperature of the No.1, No.2, and No. 3 containment vessels and pressure vessels are as follows:
The temperature shifts in the No.1, 2, and 3 reactor units of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power generation plant from July 19 to November 17, 2011.

However, Fukushima Daiichi looked like being bombed after three hydrogen explosions in March.

Now, decontamination of cooling water being circulated is performed with various facilities.  Cesium absorbed-material was put in containment towers and stored on site.

Now let's review the shift of radiation doses measured in Tokyo after March 11, 2011:

So, it is not the No. 1 unit explosion on March 12 or the No. 3 unit explosion on March 14, but other events on March 15 and March 21.

The No.2 Reactor Unit
March 15:
00:00 - Vent is started.

06:10 - The suppression pool partially explodes with a pressure decrease.

08:25 - White smoke discharged from the 5th floor.

March 21:
18:22 - White smoke discharged from the ceiling.

19:01 - Smoke stops.

------------------------------------------

The No.3 Reactor Unit
March 15:
06:14 - Smoke is generated.

March 21:
15:55 - Grey smoke is delivered

16:49: - Grey smoke turns to white.

18:02 - Smoke stops.

------------------------------------------

The No.4 Reactor Unit
March 15:

06:14 - An explosion makes a hole on the reactor building wall.

09:38 - A fire on the third floor.

12:25 - The fire stops.

March 21:

(None)

------------------------------------------

As there were four days between March 11 and March 15, TEPCO and the Japanese Government should be questioned about their efforts to prevent a large-scale radioactive disaster.

If they had been able to handle the reactor units No.2, No.3, and No.4 to prevent any type of explosions and fires from them, there should not have been this scale of radiation dose problem around Fukushima Daiichi.

When a number N increases from 0 to 1, its value V can be expressed as follows:

V = N

But, when N becomes larger than 1, its value should be expressed as follows:

V = 1/N

The point at issue is that this method can apply to the human world.  When one's wealth increases from $0 to, say, $1000, its effective value V can be expressed as follows:

V = N

But, when N becomes larger than $1000, its value should be expressed as follows:

V = 1000 x (1000/N)

If you have $10,000, its effective value would be, $100 (= 1000 x 1000 / 10000).

But in the domain of N between $0 to $1000, the spiritual value should be further expressed as:

SV = 1/N

If you have $0, its spiritual value can be the infinite dollar.

Luk 12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
