"suffer us to go away into the herd of swine" - American Religion and Politics

American Religion and Politics

It is interesting to see how the US is divided into each religious group geographically.

It is also interesting to see how the US is divided into each political party.

So, the areas where Catholic churches have influences are also influenced by the Democratic Party.

It is a little confusing.  The Democrats are against the traditional value system, but the liberal party seems to have a strong base in each of those areas with strong presence of Catholic churches.

Indeed, JFK was a Catholic.  But is Catholicism a right religion in the US?

If not, it might be a right decision to elect a Republican as US President, though.
