"This man blasphemeth" - Turn to Him the Other Cheek

Turn to Him the Other Cheek

The relationship between Christ Jesus and Judaists is still a big issue as only Israel, among all the nations on the earth, does not mind killing hundreds of children in a war its government launches at its discretion against Muslims in Gaza.
Is Jesus in Christianity different to Jesus in Judaism?

Extremely different. It is one of the big differences between the two religions. In Christianity, Jesus is the Messiah, the savior. From the Jewish perspective, Jesus may or may not have lived but at most, he would have been a false prophet. Jesus plays absolutely no role in Judaism.

Does Judaism believe in Jesus?
The Jews do not believe in Jesus No Judaism does not believe in Jesus. Judaism believes in a monotheistic belief in God or that there is only one God. Christians are also monotheist, but believe that God has made himself known in three persons or that there are three persons in the God-head. To the Jews this is blasphemy. Your question is incomplete. The above answer, answers the question "Does judaism believe in Jesus as God? But, if you're asking "Does Judaism believe in Jesus as the Messiah?", the answer is also a No.
No, Jesus plays no role in Judaism whatsoever.

Why is Jesus important to Judaism and Islam?
Islam believes Jesus is a messiah and prophet but not divine.
Jesus and his message in John said a comforter will come in john 14-16. In Islam they believe the comforter is Prophet Muhammad ( a messenger after Jesus).
In old text of Bible in Hebrew mentions a name sound like Muhammad (mahammadim).
In Judaism, Jesus has no importance and no role.

So, Judaists and Israelis do not respect the teaching of Christ Jesus:

Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also

Conversely, only when Judaists and Israelis come to believe these words of Christ Jesus, peace will prevail around Israel and Gaza.  Otherwise, Israelis will lose their nation sooner or later.

Maybe as there are such people as Judaists and Israelis of today, Christ Jesus told his Disciples to buy swords eventually.

Luk 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
Luk 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Luk 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
Luk 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Though there are no such descriptions in the Gospels, probably there were some Disciples and followers of Christ Jesus who could save their lives through some fights against Roman soldiers, using the swards.  If they had not possessed swords, they might have been taken on in the shadow of the arrest of Christ Jesus by Roman soldiers.  In the case, the diffusion of Christianity should have been delayed or prevented after the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus.

However, the Israeli Government does not seem to be using its weapons to protect and diffuse its religion.
