Involvement of Satan
Why must Christ Jesus have been killed?
The Jewish priests in the Jerusalem temple must have found that Christ Jesus was so dangerous that they had to take Him on. They persuaded the Roman governor and officers to remove Christ Jesus by force because He could be a threat to the Roman occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem.
But Christ Jesus just preached some specific words written in the Hebrew Bible in addition to his unique interpretation of Judaism. He did not tell people to fight against the Jewish authority and the Roman authority.
But as many people came to respect Christ Jesus, the Jewish authority sent spies around Christ Jesus to check contents of the preaching by Christ Jesus. Those spies tested Christ Jesus by asking questions to which Christ Jesus answered cleverly. Then, the Jewish authority tried to turn any of close followers of Christ Jesus to their spies. So, Judas was bought by them, and he informed them that some of Apostles regarded Christ Jesus as a messiah, the son of God, or even God.
If the Jewish authority thought that they could nor tolerate Christ Jesus calling Himself a messiah, the Son of God, or God, they could openly blame Christ Jesus since such a behavior was against Judaism. The Jewish authority could tell people that Christ Jesus was against Judaism as he regarded Himself a messiah, the Son of God, or God. Then, Jewish people would reject Christ Jesus. The Jewish authority could protect their positions and status.
Here, Satan appeared to the Jewish authority. Satan told them that they were greater than Christ Jesus even if He was a messiah, the Son of God, or God if they could kill Christ Jesus. And if they could kill Christ Jesus, they did not have to have a fear of God. By killing Christ Jesus no matter if He was a messiah, the Son of God, or God, Jewish priests could protect their status and wealth. So, forget about God and just kill Christ Jesus, Satan must have imbued them with this crazy idea. Finally, they arrested and killed Christ Jesus so easily.
Therefore, it is not for human sins or salvation of human souls that Christ Jesus was killed. The world of the New Testament is a world where God, Angels, Satan, demons, miracles, etc. are true and real. So then, the most significant incident in the Gospel, the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus, must involve Satan. And it is natural that Satan used the Jewish authority and the Roman authority to kill Christ Jesus. No other theological explanation about the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus excluding Satan cannot be accepted.
