"John did baptize in the wilderness" - Not Christianity but Godism

Not Christianity but Godism

Christ Jesus did not claim that He was God so that everybody (meaning all the Jewish people) should revere Him as God.

However, centuries later a Roman emperor and the Vatican decided that Christ Jesus was God so that everybody should revere Him as God.

What a blasphemy it was for mere men to decide that someone was God!  But, Christianity today is based on this blasphemy.

The most important effect of Christianity on the Roman Empire and other European people was that the religion introduced the idea of the only and one God who had personality and ethical good.  What early Christians in Europe learnt in Christianity was that there was only and one God who requested good.  And it was the teaching Christ Jesus taught.

From the beginning, how stupid it was to think that God appeared among people as a mere parson!  There was no reason for God to show such goodwill toward faithless human beings.  There was no reason for God to love faithless human beings.  Even to Moses who fully obeyed the word of God, God had not shown Himself fully.  Even to Abraham who fully obeyed the word of God, God had given only His words.  There was no reason for God to show Himself as a human being in goodwill toward faithless human beings.

As 2000 years have passed, people have come to realize that God did not come to the human world as a mere human being.  So, nobody today believes that Christ Jesus was God and uses the name Jesus to call God.  God is God.  Jesus is Jesus.  This is commonsense of today, although Christian churches still stick to the ideology that Christ Jesus was God if not God was Christ Jesus.

The Gospels tell that Christ Jesus came to teach teachings by God.  For Jewish people, such teachings were well known, although they did not observe them.  But for gentiles and Roman citizens, it was a big discovery that there was only and one God in this universe who had protected Jewish people and who could protect any body, if not Jewish, only if he or she believed Him.

Put simply, what Christ Jesus taught was one and only God but not Christ Jesus Himself.  So, Christianity should call Godism.  It is not Christ Jesus that matters in Christianity but God.  In this context, followers of Christ Jesus should accept Judaism and Islam, since they also revers the same only and one God.
