Patterns More than the Number of Total Atoms in the Universe
The number of brain cells increases after one's birth until one to two months old. The weight of the brain of a newborn infant is about 400 g, but that of a grown-up man is 1200 to 1400 g. However, the number of brain cells does not change, but networks among the cells expand and increase.
As electrons or electric signals flow through these networks, the whole brain functions to generate a mind. These networks are based on 100 to 200 billion brain cells. So, our mind is a kind of phenomenon generated by electric currents or electromagnetic waves working through 100 to 200 billion brain cells. But how can a mind be physically, chemically, or biologically generated from physical phenomena of electric currents or electromagnetic waves inside a brain?
Conversely, can we create a mind by using 100 to 200 billion semiconductor chips such as CPUs, configuring networks through chips, and running electric currents and causing electromagnetic waves following computer programs?
Or if AI software is run in such networks, can AI have a human mind?
When an input signal comes into a brain, it is converted to an electronic signal which will be transferred through networks.
Signal X => Circuit A => Circuit B => Circuit C
However, it might also happen to be transferred in the following way.
Signal X => Circuit C => Circuit B => Circuit A
If X uses three circuits among three types of circuits to be transferred, there are 27 (3 x 3 x 3) different ways.
AAA, AAB, AAC, ABA, ABB, ABC, ACA, ACB, ACC, etc.
A brain might choose AAA after trying all the 27 combinations. And another brain might chose ACC. And, whenever the brains receive the signal X, they will choose their chosen circuits, AAA or ACC.
So, when information meaning the God comes into a brain, it can be linked with AAA or ACC in this case. The sequence of AAA might mean "good" due to its particular connections and extension to other circuits and memories based on brain cells, while ACC might mean "bad" in the similar way.
Then, the brain thinks the God is good or the God is bad.
It is similar in the case of coming of the information meaning money. The brain links the information to the sequence of the networks meaning "good" or "bad."
Information X => Specific sequence of networks generating electric currents and electromagnetic waves linked with a sense of "good" or "bad." So, a man thinks X to be good or bad.
If a brain cell has only two paths (for input and output), it can be part of networks dynamically constituted by total 200 billion cells. The number of combinations of cells, circuits, networks, and different sequences of networks is apparently larger than 10 to the 81st power (10^81), a total number of atoms in the observable universe.
So, the networks in one's brain must have the capacity enough to respond uniquely to each information one gets while living. A man can at least understand every expression of a non-nonsense dictionary or encyclopedia. This is the basic of one's ability of thinking or specific patterns of electronic work of brain-cell networks.
But what conditions make the brain-cell networks of a man choose "good" or "bad" to the concept of the God coming into his brain as information in the form of an electronic signal?
It should be a spirit coming from the outside of the material universe into the human brain through work of electromagnetic waves generated in the brain.
If this material universe was made by the God with energy of the spiritual universe, this tentative theory must not be so badly wrong or rather somewhat good.
