"he spake of the temple of his body" - Except a Man be Born of Water and of the Spirit

Except a Man be Born of Water and of the Spirit

Some Japanese psychics think that divine nature is in a human mind.  To achieve enlightenment and obtain salvation, they argue, men must think of themselves to find divinity in the bottoms of their minds.

These psychics can see some spiritual phenomena and even spirits coming from the afterlife to this world, so that they believe existence of spirits of the God, Christ Jesus, the Buddha, etc.  But, as they become so proud of their spiritual ability and enjoy reputation or popularity, they sometimes put too much faith in themselves.  Put extremely, they sometimes regard themselves as peers of Christ Jesus, the Buddha, etc.  So, they believe that there is divinity in their minds and other people.

In some cases, they finally call themselves a kind of god.  And, interestingly, after they show a tendency of acting like a god or talking like a god, they mysteriously die of some diseases or earlier than average lifetime.

Indeed, no matter how much spiritual ability one has, he is not a man coming from Heaven as long as he was born as a man in this world.

Christ Jesus made clear the distinction between men born in this world and other men with spirits coming from Heaven:
John 3, King James Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Therefor whether or not a man has spiritual power, a man born in this world must be born again through water and the holy spirit in order to be accepted in the kingdom of God and Heaven.

However, a man with spiritual ability to see spirits of deceased men and to know the future of others sometimes becomes a leader of a sect.  Indeed, the spiritual ability is not ordinary and common ability.  A man or a woman who was born with such ability or who acquired it through a near-death experience, other rare events or ascetic training would be proud of his or her ability and might establish a sect or his or her own religion.  But, Satan will surely find a chance to lead such a guru to a hell.

Satan and its evil spirits should give such men with spiritual ability an illusion of their sitting with Christ Jesus or the Buddha in the spirit world and would convince them that they deserve such a position.  They will eventually become arrogant and foolish, harming true followers of the God and Christ Jesus.  Therefore, it is reasonable that the God should interfere with fates of such men.  Any such cults or sects established by them would be suppressed and disappear in time.  Such work by Satan to delude people and give an idea of blasphemy is reported by Swedenborg in his book about the spirit world.

In this context, if a certain spirit haunting a spirit medium delivers any spiritual or religious teachings, we had better think why the strange or foreign spirit but not the spirit of Christ Jesus has come to this world though the spirit medium.  Indeed, there are many reports of such a case where a certain spirit possesses a spirit medium and delivers some spiritual or religious teachings.  If their teachings are similar to those of Christ Jesus, people around the spirit medium should all the more ask the spirit of Christ Jesus to directly come to them.

To be followers of Christ Jesus, men have to be born again through baptism of water or the holy spirit, but they cannot become followers of Christ Jesus by listening to words of a psychic acting as a guru or some mysterious spirits through spirit mediums.  If a psychic or a spirit medium has ability to invoke a spirit in the spirit world, the spirit of Christ Jesus should be called up.

Finally, men with spirit ability are not necessarily holy men, and spirits invoked by them from the spirit world are not necessarily as holy as the spirit of Christ Jesus.

Yet, it is regret that the Pope of the Vatican does not or cannot invoke the spirit of Christ Jesus, now in the spirit world, on every occasion when His teaching, instruction, or opinion is needed.

John 2, King James Version

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
