The 9/11 Terror and The Pearl Harbor Attack

In the morning of September 11, 2001, there was only one foreign guest in the White House.

It was one of elite businessmen from Japan.  So, he was safely escorted out of an office of the White House to the gate by a high-ranking officer of the White House while they were evacuating the White House.  But the Japanese was impressed at words the officer said in a hurry in a tense atmosphere: "This is like Pearl Harbor!"

The Pearl Harbor means a sneaky attack for Americans.  But the truth is very different.  As a matter of fact, the US had been imposing severe economic sanctions on the Empire of Japan for a few years prior to the Pearl Harbor Attack by the Imperial Navy in early December.  　　

July 1939 - The US notifies to Japan abolition of the US-Japan Treaty on Commerce and Navigation.

June 1940 - The US introduces an approval system to export of special machine tools to Japan.

July 1940 - The US introduces a law to strengthen President's right to select export items and another law to control export of iron and machining tools to Japan.

August 1940 -  The US introduces an approval system to export of petroleum products, including aircraft fuel.   Further export of aircraft fuel to Asia is totally inhibited.

June 1941 - The US adopts an approval system for export of crude oil.

July 1941 - The US freezes all the Japanese assets in America.

August 1941 - The US imposes a total embargo of crude oil and oil products to Japan.


Before WWII, the Empire of Japan heavily relied on the US for provision of crude oil.  Oil from the US accounted for 90% of all the amount the Empire consumed.  Without crude oil imported from America, war ships and military planes of the Imperial military could not be operated.

At the time when the US stopped export of oil to the Empire in August 1941, Japanese military leaders estimated that in a year or so the Imperial Navy became unable to operate its military ships and airplanes due to a lack of fuel though Japan had some stockpiles of oil.  In this situation, the Imperial Navy would surely lose a war against the US Navy without real exchanges of fire in the Pacific Ocean.

The reason why the US came to take a tough stance against the Empire of Japan was partly that the Empire had established and controlled Manchukuo in 1932 against strong opposition from China and the US; the Empire started a full-scale war with China since 1937; and the Empire established the Tripartite Pact with Nazi Germany and Italy in 1940.  As Nazi Germany had been bombing England so fiercely from the sky at the time, the US wanted to join the war against Hitler to help Britain.   In addition, many Chinese elites were engaged in political activities to get more military aid from the US, though China had already received huge material support, including squadrons of fighter planes, from America.

Moreover, a spy sent by Moscow to Tokyo had already got information that the Empire would sooner or later invade Indonesia, then colonized by the Netherlands, for crude oil.  To occupy Indonesia, the Imperial Navy and Army had to defeat US troops in the Philippines and the British naval force around Singapore.  In order to carry out this strategy swiftly and easily, the Imperial Navy had to first deal with US Naval fleets disposed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  This spy, named Richard Sorge, sent a secret report to Moscow by radio, stressing a possibility that the Empire of Japan would soon start a war in the Pacific.  This information was relayed to Washington, since the US and the USSR were then in virtual cooperation against the axis powers.

Taking into account all these conditions before the Pearl Harbor Attack, it is natural to consider that the US Government and President Roosevelt expected that the Imperial fleets of Japan would soon attack US bases in the Philippines or  as far as Pearl Harbor.  
 
So, by analogy with the Pearl Harbor Attack of 1941, we may well have to think that some elite politicians or bureaucrats of the US Government must have expected some attacks on the American soil by Al Qaeda.  However, as they failed to correctly estimate ability and power of the Imperial military of Japan in December 1941, they failed to correctly estimate ability and cruelty of Islamic terrorists in September 2001, too.

In this context, the 9/11 Terror might bear some analogy to Pearl Harbor, so profoundly.

The tragic incident on September 11, 2001 was surely prophesied in the Bible.

As shown in the holy lines below of this page, Revelation 9:11 presents an ominous view of the end of the world.  It shows a king of the hell called Abaddon or Apollyon, though it is difficult to connect the names to Al Qaeda or Osama bin Laden.  Or should it be associated with America?  Indeed, the 9/11 Terror on New York and Washington DC was a part of battles between Al Qaeda and America.


As this year is 2014, we had better check what Rev 12:04 says.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

It looks like prophesying the tragedies of this year, specifically, in Gaza, Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, etc.  There is surely a lake of fire each around Gaza, in Ukraine, and over Syria and Iraq.    

For example, Revelation 20:11 also predicts the great natural disaster that happened in Northeast Japan on the Pacific Ocean in 2011 with an M9.0 earthquake and 15-meter high tsunamis as well as the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident.

So, we had better refer to the Bible more often, since we now live in the Era of the Second Coming of the Messiah.

95% Time Passing Needed for New Era

The earth was formed 4.5 billion years ago, and the human species was separated from the chimpanzee 4.9 million years ago.

So, after counting 999, the only additional one is assigned to mankind in the history of the earth if it is scaled down to 1,000.  Our era accounts for just 0.1% of the total history of the earth.

More interesting is that 10 million years after dinosaurs went extinct, the Himalayas started to rise from the ground pushed up from the Indian Ocean by the Indian subcontinent drifting from East Africa.  Dinosaurs never saw Himalaya mountains.

The Himalayas divided the Eurasian Continent into the west, covering Europe and the Middle Eat, and the east consisting of China, Japan, etc.  Accordingly, the human history is separated between the West and the East.  The West has been a stage for the mainstream events of mankind since the era of the Mesopotamia Civilization, including the ancient Egyptian Civilization, the rise and fall of Hebrews, Greeks, and Romans, the emergence of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and so on.

For the civilization created in the West to reach the East, it had to first spread to the American Continent.  It is true that some trade activities , human communications, and cultural interactions were possible between the West and the East through deserts north of the Himalayas.  But, real influences of the Western Civilization reached to the East through America.

Specifically, it was in 1853 when Commodore Matthew Calbraith Perry of the US Navy arrived at Tokyo Bay, leading  four big black ships including two steamers, to request establishment of diplomatic relationships between Japan, then under the Tokugawa samurai regime, and the US.  This incident became the starting point of modernization and Westernization of Japan, hence paving the way for total modernization in East Asia, including China and Korea.

As it was about 6,000 years ago that Sumerians started to build cities, such as Uruk, on the River Euphrates,  the era of modern globalism linking the West and the East since 1853 accounts for just 2.7% of the history of human civilization.

For reference, it is thought to be 160,000 years ago that Mitochondrial Eve, the oldest common mother of all the human beings who live today, lived in Africa, according to genetic analysis.  So, the era after the Sumerian Civilization in the human history accounts for 3.8% of the history after Mitochondrial Eve.  Yet, the era after Mitochondrial Eve accounts for 3.2% of the human history after the separation from the chimpanzee.

So, it needs more than 95% of time passing in an underlying era before a new era or a new stage begins in human history.   We nay call it the EEE-Law of "95% Time Passing in an Era."

Yet, it needed 99.9% of time passing for the emergence of the human species in the history of the earth.


Let's confirm the history of the earth.

We can see dinosaurs are rather closer to human beings than other living things that ever emerged and lived in the time span between 4.5 billion years ago and 2.5 billion years ago when dinosaurs appeared on the earth.  And it also means that after 95% of time had passed since the formation of the earth till today, dinosaurs came to exist on the earth.  It followed the EEE-Law of 95% Time Passing in an Era.

From a viewpoint of genetic analysis, Jewish people are globally unique, but they are close to Arabs in Palestine.

Genetic analysis suggests that a majority of the Muslims of Palestine, inclusive of Arab citizens of Israel, are descendants of Christians, Jews and other earlier inhabitants of the southern Levant whose core may reach back to prehistoric times. Politically, we may say that Arabs in Palestine must have their inherent rights to live in Palestine as much as Judaists have, since ancestors of both the groups were overlapped or close neighbors.

So, the world today seems to be still in the aftermath of 1920s when Einstein sensed that something was wrong around Judaists in Germany and he noticed crises of Judaists in Ukraine and Poland.

However, the history has proved that it is not in Israel but the US that Judaists can unfold their creative capabilities so freely.  And, Einstein himself found retirement home in the US.

Anyway, Israelis today have to think over the words by Einstein: "Zionism, to me, is not just a colonizing movement directed toward Palestine."

A Story of an Old Buddhist Woman 

Once there lived an old woman in a village.

She frequently visited a Buddhist temple nearby, asking the Buddha, Amida, and other deities to take her to the paradise as soon as possible, since she was alone, old and so poor without any relatives.

Every time she came to the temple, she donated some coins.  But one day she thought that she would soon lose all of her coins.  So, she got a thread through holes of coins to bind them.  Then, when she visited the temple next time, the poor woman threw the threaded coins into an offertory box.  After they jingled, hitting the bottom of the box, she pulled the thread up to take the coins back.

In this way, the pious woman could continue her paying respect to the Buddha and other holy Spirits for many days.  She was convinced that this tricky practice should be overlooked and accepted by the Buddha and other gods and goddesses, since her faith was true and her poverty was also so true.

One day, the chief priest of the temple heard big jingling from the offertory box placed in front of the main hall.  He was glad as he would get some coins.  But the greedy priest found no coins in the box but saw an old woman going back home with coins threaded together.

Next time she came to the temple and stood before the offertory box to show her respect and repeat her wish to be taken to the paradise, the angry priest, hiding behind the sliding door of the main hall, cried, "Old woman, listen to me, since I am a holy spirit!"   The old woman was so much startled but managed to answer, "Yes, sir, blessed Buddha!"  He said, "Climb the big pine tree beside the pond to show your faith!"  So, the old woman somehow climbed the tree and held fast a big branch with both the hands.

The big pine tree slanted toward the dark pond, so that her body was dangerously above the water.  Then the malicious priest shouted, "Loose the grip of your left hand!"  She opened her left hand.   Then the malicious priest shouted, "Loose the grip of your right hand!"  She opened her right hand to fall into the pond.  

However, behold!  The sky opened with rainbows and Buddhist gods accompanied by many Buddhist angels came down.   They put a boat of many colors on the surface of the pond to take the poor woman floating in a faint into it.   She awoke and saw the band of holy Spirits; she worshiped them in extreme joy.  Then, they all together started to ascend into the heaven.

The bewitched priest observed all this proceeding.  He was marveled at the great pageant deployed in front of him.  So, he called a young servant monk.  The priest told the boy to shout, "Climb the pine tree.  Loose the grips of the hands!"  As the boy shouted as was instructed, the superficial priest climbed the pine tree, opened his hands that were holding a big branch, and fell into the deep pond.

However, no help came from the heaven.  The impious priest hit hard on the surface of the dark pond and then soon sank deep into the water.  

This is an old story in Japan, specifically having been handed down orally in a certain local area until recently.

If England remained Catholic, Issac Newton might not have emerged as one of the greatest scientists in the world.

But, Newton does not seem to have been a faithful follower of the Church of England.

His mother’s brother, a clergyman who had been an undergraduate at Cambridge, persuaded his mother that it would be better for Isaac to go to university, so in 1661 he went up to Trinity College, Cambridge.  Isaac paid his way through college for the first three years by waiting tables and cleaning rooms for the fellows (faculty) and the wealthier students.  In 1664, he was elected a scholar, guaranteeing four years of financial support.  Unfortunately, at that time the plague was spreading across Europe, and reached Cambridge in the summer of 1665.  The university closed, and Newton returned home, where he spent two years concentrating on problems in mathematics and physics.  He wrote later that during this time he first understood the theory of gravitation, which we shall discuss below, and the theory of optics (he was the first to realize that white light is made up of the colors of the rainbow), and much mathematics, both integral and differential calculus and infinite series.  However, he was always reluctant to publish anything, at least until it appeared someone else might get credit for what he had found earlier.

On returning to Cambridge in 1667, he began to work on alchemy, but then in 1668 Nicolas Mercator published a book containing some methods for dealing with infinite series.  Newton immediately wrote a treatise, De Analysi, expounding his own wider ranging results.  His friend and mentor Isaac Barrow communicated these discoveries to a London mathematician, but only after some weeks would Newton allow his name to be given.  This brought his work to the attention of the mathematics community for the first time.  Shortly afterwards, Barrow resigned his Lucasian Professorship (which had been established only in 1663, with Barrow the first incumbent) at Cambridge so that Newton could have the Chair.

Newton's first major public scientific achievement was the invention, design and construction of a reflecting telescope.  He ground the mirror, built the tube, and even made his own tools for the job.  This was a real advance in telescope technology, and ensured his election to membership in the Royal Society.  The mirror gave a sharper image than was possible with a large lens because a lens focusses different colors at slightly different distances, an effect called chromatic aberration.  This problem is minimized nowadays by using compound lenses, two lenses of different kinds of glass stuck together, that err in opposite directions, and thus tend to cancel each other’s shortcomings, but mirrors are still used in large telescopes.

Later in the 1670's, Newton became very interested in theology.  He studied Hebrew scholarship and ancient and modern theologians at great length, and became convinced that Christianity had departed from the original teachings of Christ.  He felt unable to accept the current beliefs of the Church of England, which was unfortunate because he was required as a Fellow of Trinity College to take holy orders.  Happily, the Church of England was more flexible than Galileo had found the Catholic Church in these matters, and King Charles II issued a royal decree excusing Newton from the necessity of taking holy orders! Actually, to prevent this being a wide precedent, the decree specified that, in perpetuity, the Lucasian professor need not take holy orders.  (The current Lucasian professor is Stephen Hawking.)

So, his talent and great achievements allowed him to be free from social sanctions concerning religion.  Hence, Newton expressed his idea on God in his works sometimes.

Probably genius Newton could read something ordinary readers could not sense in the Bible.  The nature was a source of inexhaustible scientific mysteries, but the Bible seems to have been also a source of inexhaustible spiritual mysteries.

Indeed, for example, physical constants do not have to be inherently constant always across the great universe with full of stars and through all ages and time.  If the gravitational constant was not constant and stable, apples must have fallen on the ground in every different manner.  Even the earth should not be able to maintain a fixed orbit around the sun.  In such a case, no human species emerged on the earth.

In other words, Issac Newton must have come to be convinced that this whole universe and the nature were created by God for human beings.   Compared with modern scientists of today, scientific knowledge of Newton was so limited, but he could see the essence and the core of the physical world that surrounds us more accurately and innately than modern scientists.

Indeed, I think it is a divine work that the sun looks in the same size in the sky as the moon, since the human species came to exist.   Even this one phenomenon had a great influence on human beings in terms of development of culture and religion.

We are still on the shore of a great ocean God created.

Then in the summer of 1963, M.L. King led the great demonstration in Washington DC, mobilizing hundreds of thousands of African Americans, with support from President Kennedy.

So, some racists got determined to assassinate JFK.  In November of 1963, President JFK was shot to death in Dallas.  But, the world responded to the cruel tragedy from a humanitarian standpoint by awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to M. L. King as if the world conscience tried to protect M.L. King from a further attempt to suppress civil-rights movement in America.

Nonetheless, some racists got determined to kill M.L. King, Jr., waiting for a chance.  Hence, in 1968 M.L. King was shot to death as with Robert Kennedy.

Therefore, those who planned and executed the killing of JFK in 1963 were apparently racists.  Notable racists in the US were politicians in the South, the Mafia, CIA, FBI leaders, oil business leaders, and so on.

In fact, Oswald is suspected to have worked for CIA and FBI; Ruby was a gangster from Chicago; the largest beneficiary of the JFK Assassination was Vice President Johnson; Director of FBI Hoover hated M.L. King; some Mafia bosses were at strife with the Kennedy brothers; and some white people in Dallas would not be unhappy if JFK was assassinated.

Racism was behind the JFK Assassination in addition to the M.L. King Assassination.  So, some Americans must have thought that President Kennedy was assassinated because he helped M.L. King and other African Americans.  But, they did not like to show the truth to the world.  The truth that racists in America assassinated JFK because of his support for M.L. King must be hidden and concealed forever, they surely thought.  Hence, it is still a mystery.

The factor that strongly bound those involved in the JFK Assassination is racial hate against African Americans.

Put extremely, a large group of anti-civil-rights movement white Americans was behind the tragedy in Dallas of 1963.

Conversely, another target behind the scene of the JFK Assassination was M.L. King, Jr.
      
Racism must be the main motive for the JFK Assassination.  History books must be rewritten.

If the God had wanted Judaists to have the new Temple and return to Jerusalem, it should have come true.

In other words, it meant that the God wants Judaists to leave Jerusalem forever.  Then the nation Israel of today should be abandoned.  Israelis must leave Palestine, probably, heading for North America.

God will decide when the "end of times" are to come. Rebuilding the temple is one of the requirements for this to happen. It just wasn't the right time.
as far as proving the bible wrong, I have never heard of that and I don't see how rebuilding the temple would prove the bible wrong. Rather it would prove the prophesy to be true. I guess him 'not' being able to do so could prove it wrong but we still got some time.

Indeed, the Bible became the Temple for Christians.  As with it, Judaists were requested by the God to regard their own holy book as their Temple.

Though there are no such descriptions in the Gospels, probably there were some Disciples and followers of Christ Jesus who could save their lives through some fights against Roman soldiers, using the swards.  If they had not possessed swords, they might have been taken on in the shadow of the arrest of Christ Jesus by Roman soldiers.  In the case, the diffusion of Christianity should have been delayed or prevented after the Crucifixion of Christ Jesus.

However, the Israeli Government does not seem to be using its weapons to protect and diffuse its religion.

As I explained before, the world changed most significantly around 1500 as the last time.

It started with Columbus sailing over the Atlantic Ocean.  As the New World came to be included in the mainstream of the human history since then, the new type of Christianity took its place in the human religious sphere.  It apparently reflected the limit of religious and spiritual work and activities by the Vatican and the limit of development of Islam in the past 900 years since the birth of this religion based on Koran around 600.

For human beings to pursue further religious evolution, they needed the New World.  And in fact, today we see very different types of Christianity in the US that has society where Judaists, Catholics, and even Muslims can practice their religions without being put under threat.

The US might be more for Protestants and Puritans.  But, it looks like being also for Judaists. Then how Judaists lived, thought, and felt around 1500 when this Great Historical Change was set off around 1500?

Though it is difficult to present proof, Judaists must have started to change around 1500 along with Christopher Columbus' discovery of America and the Spanish royal court's decision to expel Judaists.  However, changes in the Christian world seem to have been faster and bigger than those in the Judaist world.  Judaists could not run faster than Christian persecutors when a tragedy fell upon them.

One thing to be noted is that till the 16th century or all through the Middle Ages, Judaiats were not interested in writing their own history.  They did not work out and compile history books of Judaiats after the fall of Jerusalem through wars with Romans in the first century or around AD 100.  Time had stopped for them for 1500 years.  But with invention of printing technique in Europe, they came to write various types of books for themselves, including some history books of themselves, namely a religious tribe.

Probably, their consciousness of being chosen people must have become a big issue.  For 1500 years, they had been living with a notion, if in an unconsciousness manner,  that something was wrong in Europe, where they mostly belonged, in terms of the covenant with the God on their being chosen people.  But after 1500, they were gradually forced to realize that some Christians could claim that they were also chosen people.  It was a grave discovery for them, and they could not cope with the new situation well.

Today, in the US Judaists are requested to recognize that every American is a member of chosen people.  JFK was chosen, M.L. King, Jr. was chosen, Obama was chosen, and so on.

The last 500 years is for the process of the change in Judaiats in this context.

So, is the nation Israel chosen especially by the God?   Is it for the benefit of all the Americans?

The modern history covering Nazi Germany and today's Israel must be reviewed through historical analysis of the era after around 1500.

How many Africans were ever forcibly brought to the US before the Civil War?

The actual number of men, women and children who were snatched from their homes in Africa and transported in slave ships across the Atlantic, either to the Caribbean islands or to North and South America, will never be known. Writers vary in their estimates, but there is no doubt that their number runs into millions. The following figures are taken from Morel's calculations as reproduced by Professor Melville J. Herskovits and cover the period 1666-1800:

1666-1776: Slaves imported only by the English for the English, French and Spanish colonies:
3 million (250,000 died on the voyage). 

1680-1786: Slaves imported for the English colonies in America:
2,130,000 (Jamaica alone absorbed 610,000). 

1716-1756: Average annual number of slaves imported for the American colonies: 70,000, with a total of 3.5 million. 

1752-1762: Jamaica alone imported 71,115 slaves. 

1759-1762: Guadeloupe alone imported 40,000 slaves. 

1776-1800: A yearly average of 74,000 slaves were imported for the American colonies, or a total of 1,850,000; this yearly average was divided up as follows: by the English, 38,000; French, 20,000; Portuguese, 10,000; Dutch, 4,000; Danes, 2,000.

It could be visualized how those Africans were distributed in the Southern States.

The map shows in graphic terms the density of the slave population in the Southern states, based on figures from the 1860 census. Although the development of this map was a collaborative government effort, cartographers working for Edwin Hergesheimer, U.S. Coast Survey Drafting Division, created it. 

The development of this map was revolutionary for its time for several reasons. First, it was among the first of its kind, initiating a trend of statistical cartography in the United States that allowed the thematic mapping of larger social, political, and cultural trends. Second, this map represented an early use of statistical information from the census. Third, new techniques in shading developed by Hergesheimer were a path-breaking application of these new techniques to human geography. Finally, its makers went as far to use “moral statistics” in order to affect political change.

Now, what we should focus on is 1963.  In the summer of 1963, a big demonstration was held in Washington DC by African Americans.  And in November of 1963, President Kennedy who supported M.L. King and other black leaders was assassinated.  I think that these two incidents were fatally connected with each other.

Some white segregationists must have killed JFK as a warning to M.L. King and others involved in the black movement.

The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom or "The Great March on Washington", as styled in a sound recording released after the event,[1][2] was one of the largest political rallies for human rights in United States history[3] and called for civil and economic rights for African Americans. It took place in Washington, D.C..Thousands of Americans headed to Washington on Tuesday August 27, 1963. On Wednesday, August 28, 1963. Martin Luther King, Jr., standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, delivered his historic "I Have a Dream" speech in which he called for an end to racism.[4]

The march was organized by a group of civil rights, labor, and religious organizations,[5] under the theme "jobs, and freedom".[3] Estimates of the number of participants varied from 200,000 to 300,000;[6] it is widely accepted that approximately 250,000 people participated in the march.[7] Observers estimated that 75–80% of the marchers were black.

It is said that 15% of African Americans voted in the 1960 Presidential Election and most of them supported JFK.  JFK narrowly defeated Nixon in this Election.

Across the nation, more than 70 percent of African Americans voted for Kennedy, and these votes provided the winning edge in several key states. When President Kennedy took office in January 1961, African Americans had high expectations for the new administration.

But Kennedy's narrow election victory and small working margin in Congress left him cautious. He was reluctant to lose southern support for legislation on many fronts by pushing too hard on civil rights legislation. Instead, he appointed unprecedented numbers of African Americans to high-level positions in the administration and strengthened the Civil Rights Commission. He spoke out in favor of school desegregation, praised a number of cities for integrating their schools, and put Vice President Lyndon Johnson in charge of the President's Committee on Equal Employment Opportunity. Attorney General Robert Kennedy turned his attention to voting rights, initiating five times the number of suits brought during the previous administration.

So, some white Americans who wanted to stop expansion of right of African Americans must have thought that they had to take on JFK in order to fulfill their objective.

JFK was most likely assassinated for his linkage with M.L. King and other African American leaders, though some of CIA and the Mafia might have had their own reasons to assassinate President Kennedy.

In fact M.L. King, Jr. was assassinated in 1968, the year Robert Kennedy was also gunned down.

Partly because Europeans colonized much of Africa and took many of the natural resources back to the continent with them. Partly because nearly all of your elected leaders are corrupt and steal the countries blind. Partly because of the various armies, militias, gangs, and other armed groups that are more interested in killing one another than improving the welfare of everyone in the country.  

Africa is filled with countries that will be poor for a long time. They'll need help from the outside, and not the help that the IMF and World Bank want to give, that keep them forever indentured to the developed nations, but real help to become self-sufficient and successful. First of all, however, the people need to demand more of their leaders. Whether they're elected or siezed power in a military coup, they need to serve the people and not merely rob the country blind for themselves and their friends.

sadcat's answer is right; I would just like to elaborate and give some detail. In 1885, Otto Von Bismarck of Germany called the western world powers to the Berlin Conference to end European disputes over land in Africa. These empires took a most of Africa from local control and arbitrarily divided it without considering the consequences of merging tribes that didn't get along. This is why there is a lot of civil unrest in Africa today. A lot of African culture was stolen, trashed and displaced. 

You are probably wondering how Europe gained this much power and influence over Africa. Before Rome gained control of all of Europe, they fought against the North African empire of Carthage in a series of wars called the Punic Wars (264-241, 218-201, and 149-146 B.C.) Carthage was led by a very intelligent general named Hannibal, who almost defeated the Romans. However, at the end of the second Punic War, the Roman general Scipio won the war by defeating Hannibal and the his army at Zama. Carthage signed a very one-sided peace treaty with Rome, which diminished their influence greatly.  

Later, the Roman senator Cato convinced the Senate to violate the peace treaty and attack Carthage again. At the end of the third Punic War, Carthage was totally destroyed and Rome kept a huge influence over North Africa. This European pressure on Africa has continued until today. Central and Southern Africa had always been separated geographically from the rest of the world in ancient times because of the Saharan desert and the continent's surrounding oceans. Because of this tribes here never were able to make a lot of trade with other cultures and their economy didn't grow at the same pace, which is why they never had any empires comparable to those in Europe.

True that. Europe has no natural resources so they had to come to our continent that was rich in it, and take it from us. They're economy is dependent on our resources and once Africans have their infrastructure setup, they'll be in control of their economies and have the power to bankrupt the European nation by cutting off trade with them. No wonder why the white boy has conspired to make Africa forever dependent on foreign aid at the expense of their resources.

All you need to do is look at a country like Belgium. They ran Congo like a business during the late 19th century. Not to mention killing more then 10 million Congolese in a short period of time. The entire nation was built on the blood and wealth of Congo.

Africa has the potential to develop. What is constantly ignored in development literature on Africa is that it is a consumer market of over 1.1 billion with a combined GDP of over $1.1 trillion. Having worked with international aid agencies across Africa for over 15 years, I can testify to its potential as a major economic powerhouse. Economic development does not happen overnight, it requires time and concerted effort. It has great leaders who have the desire to lead their countries out of poverty and are focused on this goal. Developed countries should stop meddling in African affairs and dictating their "desired agendas" and a new Africa will emerge.

Christ Jesus, the Son of God, appeared at the connection point of Africa, Asia, and Europe.  It cannot be justified that the situation continues where we observe significant biased state among the three major regions in the world in terms of wealth and welfare.  Till all the Africans are saved from poverty, no serious problems in advanced countries can be solved.
