"What New Doctrine"

(The Tokyo Bay)

"What New Doctrine"

But, Darling, I am not such a man as would buy only a case for a jewel.

SECTION I: Administrative Best-Practice Model

I urge all the governments in the world to install a new agency or department called “Holy See” in Latin or “Holy Seat” in English.

Its function, status, and authority must be independent from judicature, administration, and legislation.

No matter what religion prevails in a country, each country must have this fourth power, so established, in its national structure.

Management and operation of the Holy See in each country should be financially supported by people’s donation, apart from national taxation.

The Holy See Department should strictly apply common religious justice to any matters citizens would file to the Department, since the Department can apply or interpret laws and regulations, decisions and judgments, and practices or measures issued by other three branches of a government and further enforce superior authority and mandates over them.

Even in Islamic nations, they can introduce and separate their “Islamic See” from judicature, administration, and legislation of government.

Especially, I recommend Japan and the U.S. to set up the Holy See Department, since their peoples produce and consume materials and products in a very non-religious manner in these decades. For example, their Holy See Departments can issue an official warning that the present stock price level is religiously sinful. Pious people should respond properly.

I also hope that the Vatican would show the first example, moving to Israel and taking the authority to be the Holy See Department of Israel.

Staff and officials of the Holy See Department must be chosen from those who do not belong to any religious bodies by drawing lots. The head of the Department must be also chosen from citizens without any religious titles by drawing lots.

SECTION II: Japanese Obamas

Japanese politicians look still very busy nowadays, though Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso seems to like to take an early morning stroll around the Diet Building with full of guards.

Mrs. Sakie Yokota
Mrs. Yokota’s daughter, Ms. Megumi Yokota, was abducted by North Korean secret agents from a town near a coast of the Sea of Japan on November 15, 1977.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megumi_Yokota

But, it was in 1997 or so that the truth was known to Mr. and Mrs. Yokota as a secretary of a National Diet member of the Japanese Communist Party revealed it to the public on his own initiative, though the Japanese Communist Party had nothing to do with all these matters.

As a mother attempting the desperate rescue of her daughter, she visited the White House to meet President Mr. George W. Bush in April 2006, which was realized mostly through efforts by Former Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe, then Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, since the U.S. is the only ally for Japan in terms of national security.

Yet, North Korea and some Japanese political groups claim that the tragedy of the Yokotas is minor compared with atrocities Korean people had suffered during and before WWII due to the occupation of the Korean Peninsula by the Empire of Japan.

Nonetheless, it is commonsense that many poor North Korean people today are suffering bitterness of life worse than that under the Empire of Japan before WWII.

Mr. Makoto Yuasa
Mr. Yuasa graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, and studied in its doctor course.

However, he quit pursuing the celebrated course for membership of the Japanese elite, since he started to help poor people living a poor life for himself.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/10/AR2006031002288_pf.html

Becoming the leader of a nonprofit organization fighting against poverty, Mr. Yuasa even challenged notable economist Mr. Heizo Takenaka by writing a paper on the issue of poverty in the Japanese society.

It was on his initiative that many volunteers and some public agents worked together in the middle of Tokyo to help hundreds of temporary homeless who had been just fired by companies at the year end of 2008, so that they could get temporary shelters and public assistance.

http://www.asiaone.com/News/Latest+News/Asia/Story/A1Story20081231-111628.html

So, a young elite who avoided becoming a professor of the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, has become a hero of discarded workers of Japan.

***********************************************

It is so, since a true jewel cannot be in any box or rental brand bag.

(A drop of tears must look like a jewel.

It is so, since a 13-years old girl who was abducted by foreign espionage agents for a stupid plan to make her a collaborator in the future must have surely cried in a dark cell of a spy ship heading secretly to North Korea over the Sea of Japan so cold in a night of the late autumn.

http://www.fukuchan.ac/music/latin/hohonikakarunamida.html )

Mar 1:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

Mar 1:25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

Mar 1:26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

Mar 1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

Ah, what a week, darling!

= The Yearly Request to the United States of America (Draft) =

Here we request the U.S. Government to well observe the following demands and wishes.

1. Give at least one seat in the Senate to a representative of Native Americans.

2. Give a voting right in the Presidential Election to each of the Japanese people who stays or resides in the United States on the day of the Election unconditionally.

3. Send to Afghanistan a staff of 30,000 medical and health experts, social workers, agricultural and engineering experts, and other specialists needed for improvement of the society and people’s lives there in lieu of 30,000 more soldiers.

4. Give back the sovereignty over Guam, Saipan, and other Pacific-Ocean islands that had been governed by the Empire of Japan before the Second World War to Japan unless objections are filed by native residents there.

I once wrote that treasure of the Indian Ocean lies in the mind of Indians.

If you have no jewel in your heart, you cannot truly have your diamond glitter on any part of your appearance.

Yet, the azure and the blue waves of the Mediterranean are true jewels for Europe.

Even on the shore of Palestine or Gaza, we may find some bijoux, since they have actually celebrated the inauguration of President Mr. Barack Obama with 1,000 blood streams shed to the Sea like 2050 years or 1950 years ago.

"As One That Had Authority"

(Shin-Jyuku, Tokyo)

"As One That Had Authority"

I don't think that the authority of Ever-Holy Jesus Christ is supported by any money he has, if any.

Accordingly, the final purpose of the money-decorated Devil cannot be to enjoy a rich life for himself.

SECTION I: Election Money I

It is not Christian at all to buy votes with money.

----------------------------------
General Campaign Expense Summary

According to required campaign filings as reported by the Federal Election Commission (FEC), a total of 148 candidates for all parties had raised a collective total of $1,644,712,232 and spent $1,601,104,696 for the primary and general campaigns combined through November 24, 2008. The amounts raised and spent by the major candidates, according to the same source, were as follows:

Candidate (Party) / Amount Raised / Amount Spent / Votes = Average Spent per Vote

Barack Obama (D) / $532,946,511 / $513,557,218 / 69,447,084 = $7.39 per vote

John McCain (R) / $379,006,485 / $346,666,422 / 59,925,610 = $5.78

...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_election,_2008
----------------------------------

Otherwise it is not a shame at all that a candidate loses an election due to a lack of money.

SECTION II: Election Money II

It is not Christian at all to collect money claiming that it is all for improving the human society.

Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations
Contributions Reviewed After Deposits

By Matthew Mosk
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, October 29, 2008; A02

The Obama team's disclosures came in response to questions from The Washington Post about the case of Mary T. Biskup, a retired insurance manager from Manchester, Mo., who turned up on Obama's FEC reports as having donated $174,800 to the campaign. Contributors are limited to giving $2,300 for the general election.

Biskup, who had scores of Obama contributions attributed to her, said in an interview that she never donated to the candidate. "That's an error," she said. Moreover, she added, her credit card was never billed for the donations, meaning someone appropriated her name and made the contributions with another card.

When asked whether the campaign takes steps to verify whether a donor's name matches the name on the credit card used to make a payment, Obama's campaign replied in an e-mail: "Name-matching is not a standard check conducted or made available in the credit card processing industry. We believe Visa and MasterCard do not even have the ability to do this.

"Instead, the campaign does a rigorous comprehensive analysis of online contributions on the back end of the transaction to determine whether a contribution is legitimate…"

What cannot be solved by money must be the true agenda for the U.S. President.

SECTION III: Internet-Leveraged Money

The Internet has been a major player behind the scene of the 2008 Presidential Election.

-------------------------------------
Obama's Internet Money Machine and the Future

Posted June 11, 2008 | 04:31 PM (EST)

Among Obama supporters, like myself, this has been celebrated as an Internet-driven turning of the tables on the kind of money politics that has dominated America for so long. 1.5 million people have given Obama money, and nearly half of them have made donations of $200 or less. (All these small donors -- who the campaign is in regular contact with via email -- can legally give much more, which is one reason why it might not be that far-fetched to extrapolate his current fundraising curve for 5 more months.)

Some perspective: in 2004, GW Bush raised $367 million, a historic record. Obama will raise more than that before the convention.

Or look at it this way: just under half of Obama's contributions have been in amounts of $200 or less. For demonstration purposes, let's say that the average small donation was $100. If you do the math, that works out to small donors giving Obama $70 million, leaving big donors responsible for $200 million. With luck someone with better data than I have will respond to this blog with more detailed numbers. Whatever the actual numbers are, it will work out that the huge majority of Obama's money has come donations over, not under, $200.

Yes, this is a wonderful thing that the Internet has democratized political financing in an unprecedented way. What is even better, the fact that the progressive guy figured out the new money regime first may catapult him from freshman senator to the White House, opening one of the most exciting chapters in American political history…

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-ostertag/obamas-internet-money-mac_b_106587.html
-------------------------------------

The Internet may have become a major player behind the scene of the Obama Administration, inevitably.

*************************************************

That is all for today.

When people are united with some common positive philosophy toward money, they can even send one of their fellows to the White House.

But, can there be any couple, group, or party united with any common negative philosophy toward money so as to protest against the White House successfully?

I mean I mostly trust forever-poor comrades.

(Beside, a psychologically fatal lack of love you have ever experienced cannot be compensated at all by any amount of money. So, trust EEE-Reporter, poorer than President Mr. Barack Obama.

"One Crying in the Wilderness"

"One Crying in the Wilderness"

I successfully watched live the 2009 Inauguration Day's broadcasting from Washington D.C.

People prevailed from the Capitol all over the 2km-long Mall and even around the Lincoln Memorial without conceding a bit little of space for children, if any, to race round in make-shift blocks only consisting of reportedly 2 million quarter-frozen audiences, which actually bewildered Mrs. Barbara Bush or only her since she has the toughest spirit among those there.

The most impressive person was the mother of Mrs. Michelle Obama who walked down to the balcony like a queen supervising her granddaughters from behind.

Of course, Mrs. Hillary Clinton never looked abashed at all, which was very unique but also American.

Then, I turned off the TV after 2:40 a.m., Japan Time, somehow being satisfied, since we were in and around Tokyo where neither icy currents nor storms are prevailing now.

SECTION I: Mr. Osama bin Laden's Tape on Jan. 14, 2009

It is very interesting that I myself missed his tape, since I have not seen CNN these months for some contractual restriction with a cable TV company.

--------------------------------------------
January 14, 2009
Bin Laden message: Stop 'aggression' against Gaza

CNN could not independently confirm the authenticity of the message, but the speaker's voice was similar to other recordings that bin Laden has made.

While not naming President-elect Barack Obama, bin Laden refers to the future of the United States in the face of the current global economic crisis.

The last time bin Laden released an audio message was in mid-May, timed to coincide with Israel's 60th anniversary. That message urged his followers to liberate Palestine.

President Bush, whose term ends next week, told CNN's Larry King on Tuesday that he remains optimistic that bin Laden would be found.

Asked by King, "Are we ever going to find bin Laden?" Bush replied: "Yes, of course, absolutely. We've got a lot of people out there looking for him, a lot of assets. You can't run forever."

http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/01/14/binladen.message/
--------------------------------------------

Technically, I don’t think that Mr. Osama bin Laden has been confirmed as alive.

He is also a big asset for Islamic insurgents. He must continue to be alive. Voices can be engineered and presented as genuine if simply simulating Mr. bin Laden’s.

And, those tapes having been issued without an impact enough to startle the world any more cannot be a proof of anything about his religious, political, and military capability, in my view.

Mr. Osama bin Laden looked like a man of the past all through the process of the 2008 Presidential Election.

SECTION II: The 2008 Presidential Election Reviewed

Let’s review the Voter demographics based on exit polls taken on November 4:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_election,_2008

It is a less-than-8% spread of voters that decided the case.

In summary, independent, moderate, "white," and more traditional religious people decided the case for the 2008 Presidential Election.

But, are they rich or poor?

It is now apparent that those whose family income is $30,000 or less are overwhelmingly supporting Mr. Barack Obama.

Those whose family income is $50,000 or less are clearly supporting Mr. Barack Obama.

The truth is that poor "whites," accounting for just 4% of all the voters, decided the case for the 2008 Presidential Election.

But, who made them poor?

SECTION III: FRB

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Mr. Alan Greenspan virtually admitted the limit of capacity of FRB for regulating the trillion-dollar business.

------------------------------------------
April 8, 2008, 5:29 pm
Recession Is Here, Greenspan Says

"I have said to many questions of this nature that I have no regrets on any of the Federal Reserve policies that we initiated back then because I think they were very professionally done…"

He told CNBC that the Fed couldn’t have averted the housing crisis and subsequent seizing up of credit markets. He blamed the crisis on "egregious lending practices" in the subprime mortgage market. Real problems began to emerge when subprime mortgages were securitized and sold to investors seeking higher and higher yields with little regard for risk, he added. Greenspan also said the housing bubble would’ve occurred even without exotic loans such as adjustable-rate mortgages.

The non-financial sector of the U.S. economy remains in "extraordinarily good shape," Greenspan said, although he acknowledged that corporate revenues are shrinking as demand comes under pressure from the ongoing credit crisis.

As for the financial sector, "it’s fairly obvious that for the first time in my memory, we have both the banking system and the securities markets in trouble."

Markets are now demanding ever-increasing amounts of capital from all financial institutions — banks, hedge funds and investment banks, Greenspan said. “I think when we come out of this, the markets will demand a much higher ratio of economic capital and lower leverage,” he added. Regulatory requirements on capital will also likely see significant revision, he also said. – Charlene Lee

http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2008/04/08/recession-is-here-greenspan-says/?mod=WSJBlog
------------------------------------------

It is apparent what America needed and still needs is a better Chairman of FRB.

Or, those poor "whites" who have elected the new U.S. President absolutely need an FRB-version of President Mr. Barack Obama.

In conclusion, the political base of President Mr. Barack Obama is not so overpowering as with the influence of those poor "whites" on FRB.

*********************************************************

One impressive figure there in front of the balcony of the Capitol was former State Secretary Mr. Colin Powell being seated among honorable guests.

Though a Japanese TV station did not show his expression, Mr. Powell might have been the very one who should have been on the very platform with President Mr. George W. Bush and Vice President Mr. Dick Cheney as the 44th President of the United States of America.

"The Mystery of The Seven Stars"

"The Mystery of The Seven Stars"

It is as though as they had pelted President Mr. George W. Bush with two shoes, they had to eventually suffer an onslaught made by Israeli troops on Gaza.

If you fully respect the God or Allah, a jet plane will safely land on the Hudson, as a proof of a peace-loving wish of EEE Reporter.

SECTION I: "HUSSEIN"

Saddam Hussein himself must have been a major factor for America’s War on Iraq launched in the early spring of 2003.

---------------------
The United States, which had urged Iraqis to rise up against Saddam, did nothing to assist the rebellions. The Iranians, who had earlier called for the overthrow of Saddam, had lost all interest in removing him from power after the disastrous war ended, and when Khomeini died his successor Ayatollah Khamenei, who promised he would remove Saddam from power once and for all, did little and simply sat back and watched. U.S. ally Turkey opposed any prospect of Kurdish independence, and the Saudis and other conservative Arab states feared an Iran-style Shi'ite revolution…

Saddam routinely cited his survival as "proof" that Iraq had in fact won the war against America. This message earned Saddam a great deal of popularity in many sectors of the Arab world….

Saddam, therefore, increasingly portrayed himself as a devout Muslim, in an effort to co-opt the conservative religious segments of society. Some elements of Sharia law were re-introduced, and the ritual phrase "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great"), in Saddam's handwriting, was added to the national flag.

Relations between the United States and Iraq remained tense following the Gulf War. The U.S. launched a missile attack aimed at Iraq's intelligence headquarters in Baghdad June 26, 1993, citing evidence of repeated Iraqi violations of the "no fly zones" imposed after the Gulf War and for incursions into Kuwait. Some speculated that it was in retaliation for Iraq's sponsorship of a plot to kill former President George H. W. Bush…

U.S. officials continued to accuse Saddam of violating the terms of the Gulf War's cease fire, by developing weapons of mass destruction and other banned weaponry, and violating the UN-imposed sanctions and "no-fly zones." Isolated military strikes by U.S. and British forces continued on Iraq sporadically, the largest being Operation Desert Fox in 1998. Western charges of Iraqi resistance to UN access to suspected weapons were the pretext for crises between 1997 and 1998, culminating in intensive U.S. and British missile strikes on Iraq, December 16-19, 1998. After two years of intermittent activity, U.S. and British warplanes struck harder at sites near Baghdad in February, 2001.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein#Postwar_period
---------------------

My theory: some people around President Mr. George W. Bush leveraged President’s anger to Saddam Hussein. They wanted another war with Iraq. They had been looking for a chance and actually took the opportunity afforded by the 9/11 Terror to breast to a war with Iraq altogether with the George W. Bush Administration.

SECTION II: "OSAMA"

If Mr. Osama bin Laden is respected by a majority of Muslims in the world, it would be very difficult for FBI to arrest him as a main culprit of the 9/11 Terror and for the U.S. military to search and destroy him as a war criminal.

-----------------------
After leaving college in 1979 bin Laden joined Abdullah Azzam to fight the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan and lived for a time in Peshawar. By 1984, with Azzam, bin Laden established Maktab al-Khadamat, which funneled money, arms and Muslim fighters from around the Arabic world into the Afghan…

Bin Laden returned to Saudi Arabia in 1990 as a hero of jihad, who along with his Arab legion, "had brought down the mighty superpower" of the Soviet Union. However, during this time Iraq invaded Kuwait and Laden met Sultan, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and told him not to depend on non-Muslim troops and offered to help defend Saudi Arabia. Bin Laden was rebuffed and publicly denounced Saudi Arabia's dependence on the US military. Bin Laden's criticism of the Saudi monarchy led that government to attempt to silence him…

In 1998 it was reported that bin Laden is operating his terrorist network out of Albania. The Charleston Gazette quoted Fatos Klosi, the head of the Albanian intelligence service, as saying a network run by Saudi exile Osama Bin Laden sent units to fight in the Serbian province of Kosovo. Confirmation of these activities came from Claude Kader, a French national who said he was a member of Bin Laden's Albanian network. He claimed he had visited Albania to recruit and arm fighters for Kosovo. In 2000 bin Laden was operating from Kosovo planning the terrorist activities during the Insurgency in the Preševo Valley…

In two other tapes aired by Al Jazeera in 2006, Osama bin Laden announces,

I am the one in charge of the 19 brothers … I was responsible for entrusting the 19 brothers … with the raids [5 minute audiotape broadcast May 23, 2006],

and is seen with Ramzi Binalshibh, as well as two of the 9/11 hijackers, Hamza al-Ghamdi and Wail al-Shehri, as they make preparations for the attacks (videotape broadcast September 7, 2006…

November 2007: In an interview with political interviewer David Frost taken on November 2, 2007, the Pakistani politician and Pakistan Peoples Party chairwoman Benazir Bhutto claimed that bin Laden had been murdered by Omar Sheikh…

In October 2007, Bhutto stated in an interview that she would cooperate with the American military in targeting Osama bin Laden…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden
---------------------

I strongly recommend the American people not to allow their military to simply destroy him, but bring Mr. Osama bin Laden to justice at a U.S. court in Washington D.C. or New York, since truth is yet to prevail among American voters and taxpayers.

However, why must he continue to keep silence all through the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election to the very imminent Inauguration Day in Washington D.C.?

Is he alive now?

If the U.S. Government truly cannot tell whether one well-known man is alive or dead on this planet, how can it be the Sole Super Power in the world?

The War on Terror started with Mr. Osama bin Laden; when it ends, it must end with him.

SECTION III: Mr. Barack Hussein Obama II

Senator Mr. Barack Obama is an American Christian, since he behaves as such.

However, he may be thinking more piously than ordinary American Christians on difference between the Bible and the Koran.
--------------------------
Obama and Islam
posted by Jon Wiener on 11/16/2007 @ 11:24am

Because Obama's father was a Muslim, he "could lead a reconciliation between the Muslim countries and the US." With any of the other candidates as president, Hersh said, "we're facing two or three decades of problems in the Mideast, with 1.2 billion Muslims."

In Obama's 2006 book The Audacity of Hope he wrote that his Kenyan father was "raised a Muslim," but says he was a "confirmed atheist" by the time his parents met. His parents separated when he was two years old and later divorced.

Of course if Obama did win the nomination, one can only imagine what the Republicans would do with the fact that his father was a Muslim.

As for the short term, Hersh said, "Cheney thinks war with Islam is inevitable, so we might as well have it now." Administration plans for bombing Iran call for targeting the Revolutionary Guards. Iran's response, Hersh said, is likely to be "asymmetrical" - instead of striking back directly at the US, they will "hit the oil" in the Gulf. The result will be oil prices of "$200 or $300 a barrel," double or triple the current price…

http://www.thenation.com/blogs/notion/252300

--------------------------

President Mr. George W. Bush’s best practice might be his refraining from launching military operations against Iran.

But, President Mr. Barack Obama might be more easily led to a war with Iran by circumstances of various kinds close and remote if not Islamic.

*******************************************

It will be around 2 a.m. on Wednesday of Japan Time that the Presidential Inauguration begins in Washington D.C.

Some Japanese TV stations are being prepared for live broadcast of the American national ceremony in the extension of the late night of today.

I think I have something to work on tonight that is so important requiring much time even with a TV set turned on by my side.

(Tokyo; click to enlarge)

"Fear Not"

Barack,

Afghanistan, what can be your Vietnam is.

Incredibly war is still going on in Afghanistan, though the number of enemies of America is just 50,000 or 60,000 who are equipped only with AK-47 machine-guns or RPG launchers while being unable to buy air tickets for America, since they are poor, just very poor.

Yet, more than 600 U.S. soldiers were already killed while 20,000 U.S. enemies were killed in addition to almost 30,000 civilian deaths.

OK, let’s check the situation, since Ms. Rice is now leaving.

- Hamas Rising

- Report: Tamil rebels kill 51 Sri Lankan soldiers

- Four dead in suicide car bomb attack in Kabul

- N. Korea: Priority to build up nuclear deterrent

http://www.wn.com/afghanistan
------------------------------------

These are bleak facts in and around Afghanistan as of today.

Yet, Americans are really forward-looking as a New York Time’s poll shows:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/18/us/politics/18poll.html?_r=2&hp

Almost 60% of Americans seem to believe that they can get better jobs and better economy in five years or so.

However, as the situations in these eight years have been highly dominated by a small group called AlQaeda and their hit-or-miss decision to attack just several big buildings in New York and Washington D.C. in 2001, actually leading to 8,000 deaths of Americans both domestically and overseas, the country so small and poor, in terms of the national power, called Afghanistan might make the U.S. Government and the American people suffer again in the next five years or so, even if not economically.

Eventually, in the Presidential Election of 2012 or 2016, all the American voters might go in a fever and vote for the first Muslim U.S. President in the history.

Indeed, the world must be improved at least a little when you, Barack, leave the White House someday for another journey (maybe to Africa).

Sincerely,

"Fishers of Men"

"Fishers of Men"

When a jet plane swims in a big river of a large city like a fish, you may observe a miracle in air or on the ground.

So, my TV got malfunction this Monday as an herald, didn’t it?

SECTION I: Administrative Best-Practice Model

From the beginning, money, tax, or a budget is not the most important element for a nation.

Money, tax, or a budget is not the most fundamental condition for establishing and running a nation, though it is not bad at all to sincerely discuss the matter.

---------------------------------
Firm Tax Policy Rather than Bailouts Will Restore Economy
(Rep. Neugebauer)
January 16th, 2009

I believe we can better stimulate the economy through tax relief, which is why I introduced the Economic Growth Through Tax Stimulus Act. This legislation will make the 2001 and 2003 tax relief permanent, reduce marginal individual income tax rates by 5 percentage points for the next five years and reduce the top business and individual income tax rate to 25 percent for the next 5 years. This type of stimulus policy will translate into half a million more jobs in 2009, add an additional $130 billion in GDP and increase the economic growth rate.

Bailouts reward unsuccessful companies; reducing taxes helps successful employers, both small and large, retain more capital so they can be more productive, hire more workers and improve wages. Across-the-board tax relief means the government is not picking winners and losers. As a former business owner, I know that reducing business taxes will lead to job growth and reduce the annual tax burden on every household.

The American taxpayers deserve a better plan from the federal government than more spending on top of a deficit already projected to be more than $1 trillion this year. Congress must focus on solutions that empower individuals and businesses to succeed in the economy rather than solutions that make them more dependent on the federal government. We owe it to them to stop writing blank checks, borrowing and spending without limits and mortgaging their children’s future.

---------------------------------

However my idea is that a government should unconditionally pay salary to the people; I mean all the people of a nation.

People might be living as a farmer, a merchant, a corporate employee, or a public servant. Yet they must all receive salary every month even if they are unemployed or refuse to work in any business.

People are however requested to use the salary fully within a month or a year, as a case may be. They are requested to bring and show receipts to prove their spending to a designated public agency. Without presenting this proof, they will not be allowed to receive the salary in the next month. When they have proved that all the salary they received from the government has been fully used, they can get the next one.

Of course, a tax system will be preserved and operated as it is today.

But, official duties of a citizen of a nation must include a duty to spend fully the official salary the government provides for each member of the nation on the sole ground that he or she has a right to be financially loved by the nation in exchange of his or her contribution to the national economy through exercising his or her purchasing power.

A government provides money unconditionally to all the people in a form of the national salary.

The people pay tax to the government in addition to fully spending the national salary within a specified period.

This looks like a reasonable money flow, since people may also work in a private sector or a public sector to receive a conventional salary or consideration as they have been doing in exchange of their labor or service.

For your information, Japan is going to partially test this idea by furnishing a specific amount of money (12,000 yen or 130 dollars) to each household this spring, for free or unconditionally, believe it or not.

The value assurance of the yen is of course the future glory of Japan as expected from its past.

SECTION II: JAPANESE OBAMAS

It feels like a change of seasons in the Japanese political community, often referred to Nagata-chou (the Nagata street).

Especially rising and hopeful politicians might be busy nowadays in Tokyo or in their constituencies, though not for any conventional or old-fashioned paradigm of revolution.

Mr. MINORU MORITA
Mr. Morita is not a politician but a very veteran political analyst since he was a member of the Japanese Communist Party in early 1950’s when he was a student of the University of Tokyo.

He has his own Internet site to present his political view. His recent upload includes maxims of past heroes:
- Friendship must be observed as a holy practice (Prince Shoutoku-Taishi, Japan)

- One who sheds light on a small corner of the society is a national treasure (Holy Monk Saichou, Japan)

- Politics is not science but technique (Bismarck, Germany)

Once a young and arrogant TV-program director insulted him by refusing his participation in some program, since a political tide in Japan drastically changed along with Former Prime Minister Mr. Jyunichiro Kizumi’s overwhelming victory in a general election. But, the tide may be changing again in favor of Mr. Morita who has a variety of friends not only in the Japanese political community but also among an overseas Chinese community.

Mr. Motoshige Ito
Mr. Ito is an incumbent professor of the University of Tokyo, specializing in economics.

http://www.u-tokyo.ac.jp/index_e.html

He often appears in a midnight business-news program broadcast from a TV station in Tokyo.

Last night, he said that he is busy in a tie up with Stanford University and Singapore University. He also added that when he delivers his lecture in English, students (mostly Japanese) seem to understand more. He also emphasized importance for Japanese students to study in a graduate school not only for a position in an academic community but also for success in business.

When Mr. Ito was a student, he went to America for his study or research sometime. He happened to visit a park where he bought an ice cream from a peddler. Decades later he also made a research trip to America and happened to visit the park and find the same ice-cream man.

Mr. Ito must have gravely felt that there could be such a happy life as a life-time ice-cream peddler in the United States.

But, there is also such a life that has gravely never experienced an ice-cream peddler in the United States, since the actual contribution to the global economy is not so different between a Tokyo University professor in economics and a cheerful life-time ice-cream scooper in the U.S.

Anyway, I turned a TV channel to another midnight news program last night, since my TV is now very stable to present a more amusing figure than a professor of the University of Tokyo.

That is all for today.

Everybody knows that Monday comes after Sunday; Sunday comes after Saturday; and thus Friday is very important. So, don’t despise an old man who cannot tell what day it is today.

Indeed, Jesus Christ never minded Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. But, I will respect Saturday more in case, Honey.

(It is what is more than revolution that I like to consider. Eventually, money will lose meaning in this new world getting closer to the kingdom of God, since tax is salary and salary is tax therein. Forgive a stingy employer.

"Grace for Grace"

(Tokyo, once called Edo or Yedo)

"Grace for Grace"

Do not let me be misunderstood in this context.

I am not a man who likes to keep a dog of whatever color.

A man is more important than a dog, so that so long as there is one man on the earth starving, I do not come to feel like feeding any dog by myself, Dear.

SECTION I: Millard Fillmore (In office: July 9, 1850 – March 4, 1853)

Most of the Japanese people know nothing about U.S. President Millard Fillmore who sent Commodore Matthew C. Perry to open Japan to Western trade, though Perry did not reach Japan until Franklin Pierce had replaced Fillmore as president.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millard_Fillmore

Nonetheless, this humble decision in the White House not only to occupy Hawaii permanently but also to proceed to Japan, while putting military dominance on a diplomatic show, so as to secure future market of Japan for American businesses drastically changed the fate of Japan and the historic course of East Asia as well as the world even in the 21st century all through the 20th century.

So, in July 1953, Commodore Matthew C. Perry arrived at the Tokyo Bay leading two steam-propelled battleships and two sailing battleships with the sovereign's message signed by President Millard Fillmore. However, the mood of diplomatic negotiation was not necessarily friendly as the Perry’s squadron had total 100 cannons and the Japanese samurai regime wanted to expel Perry and his sailors by force if possible at all.

Since the Shogun (king) of the Tokugawa samurai regime was then ill, Perry was persuaded to leave the President Millard Fillmore’s message and come back later to receive an answer from the Shogun.

This official but well-armed visit of the U.S. envoy totally changed a state of the State of Japan, entering the great era of political turmoil over diplomacy and sovereignty and then a civil war between two major sumurai camps; toppling the Tokugawa samurai regime; and finally introducing the imperial system supported by anti-Tokugawa samurais who started to put on Western clothes without carrying swords.

Now back to President Millard Fillmore, he owed his success to his wife who had taught her husband, born in a very poor farming family, how to read and write and then become a lawyer in New York.

SECTION II: U.S. Presidential Message to Emperor of Japan

The following copied text looks like including some mistyping errors, though not many copies of the original histroical message delivered before the Civil War can be found nowadays on the Internet:

----------------------------------------
MILLAED FILLMORE, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, TO HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, THE EMPEROR OF JAAPAN.

Great and Good Friend; I send you this public letter be Commodore Matthew C. Perry, and officer of the highest rank in the navy of the United States, and commander of the squadron now visiting your imperial majesty’s dominions.

I have directed Commodore Perry to assure your imperial majesty that I entertain the kindest feelings toward your majesty’s person and government, and that I have no other object in sending him to Japan but to propose to your imperial majesty that the United States and Japan should live in friendship and have commercial intercourse with each other.

The Constitution and laws of the United States forbid all interference with the religious or concerns of other nations. I have particularly charged Commodore Perry to abstain from every act which could possibly disturb the tranquility of your imperial majesty’s dominions.

The United States of America reach from ocean to ocean, and our Territory of Oregon and State of California lie directly opposite to the dominions of your imperial majesty. Our steamship can go from California to Japan in eighteen days.

Our great state of California produce about sixty millions of dollars in gold every year, beside silver, quicksilver, precious stones, and many other valuable articles. Japan is also a rich and fertile country, and produces many very valuable articles. Your imperial majesty’s subjects are skilled in many of the arts. I am desirous that our two countries are should trade with each other, for the benefit both of Japan and the United States.

We know that the ancient laws of your imperial majesty’s government do not allow of foreign trade, except with the Chinese and the Dutch; but as the state of the world changes and new governments are formed, it seems to be wise, from time to time, the make new laws. There was a time when ancient laws of your imperial majesty’s government were first made.

About the same time America, which is sometimes called the New World, was first discovered and settled by the Europeans. For a long time there were but a few people, and they were poor. They have now become quite numerous; their commerce is very extensive; and they think that if your imperial majesty were so far to change the ancient laws as to allow a free trade between the two countries it would be extremely beneficial to both.

If your imperial majesty is not satisfied that it would be safe altogether to abrogate the ancient laws which forbid foreign trade, they might be suspended for five or ten years, as to try the experiment. If it does not prove as beneficial as was hoped, the ancient laws can restore. The United States often limit treaties with foreign States to a few years and then renew them or not, as they please.

I have directed Commodore Perry to mention another thing to your imperial majesty. Many of our ships pass every year from California to China; and great numbers of our people pursue the whale fishery near the shores of Japan. It sometimes happens, in stormy whether, that one of our ships is wrecked on your imperial majesty’s shores. In all such case we ask, and expect, that our unfortunate people should be treated with kindness, and that their property should be protected, till we can send a vessel and bring them away. We are very much is earnest is this.

Commodore Perry is also directed by me to represent to your imperial majesty that we understand there is a great abundance of coal and provisions in the Empire of Japan. Our steamships, in crossing the great ocean, burn a great deal of coal and it is not convenient to bring it all the way from America. We wish that our steamships and other vessels should be allowed to stop in Japan and supply themselves with coal, provisions, and water. They will pay for them in money, or anything else your imperial majesty’s subjects may prefer; and we request your imperial majesty to appoint a convenient port, in the southern part of the Empire, where our vessels may stop for this purpose. We are very desirous of this.

There are the only object for which I have sent Commodore Perry, with a powerful squadron, to pay a visit to your imperial majesty’s renowned city of Yedo; friendship, commerce, a supply of coal and provisions, and protection for our shipwrecked people.

We have directed Commodore Perry to your imperial majesty’s acceptance of a few present. They are of no great value in themselves; but some of them may serve as specimens of the articles manufactured in the United States, and they are intended as tokens of our sincere and respectful friendship.

May the Almighty have your imperial majesty in His great and holy keeping!

In witness whereof, I have caused the great seal of the United States to be hereunto affixed, and have subscribed the same with my name, at the city of Washington, is America, the seat of my government, on the thirteenth day of the month of November, in the year of one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two.

[Seal attached] Yours good friend
MILLARD FILLMOR
By the president: EDWARD EVERETT
Secretary of States
-----------------------------------------------
http://www.hh.em-net.ne.jp/~harry/FillmoreLetter.html

But, please note that the "Emperor" here described is believed to refer to the Shogun, the head of all the samurai clans and also the chief of the samurai regime, who held all the national power except religious legitimacy and a traditional authoritative, nominal system associated with the Emperor who lived in Kyoto then.

Anyway, this is the most important historical text for Japan in terms of its development since 1853, since 1945 is just within a hundred-year range from the arrival of President Fillmor’s message to Japan.

"Great is Thy Faith"

"Great is Thy Faith"

It is now crystal-clear that Mrs. Clinton will be in charge of the American diplomacy in the coming Obama Administration.

She has performed something that is in itself moving, since it is as if she were trying to be the ever-First Lady in the United States.

So, let me use some blank maps to check the world while most of the Japanese are too humble to deliver a presentation to discuss the global value system with anybody like the U.S. Secretary of State.

SECTION I: OUR WORLD EAST OF THE EUPHRATES

Tentatively, I like to call the regions from the Euphrates river to Japan generically “Our World.”

Essentially it does not include Israel, but it can include Turkey.

This “Our World” mainly consists of four regions: the (Israel-) Islam-India War Zone, the India-Pacific Hot Spots; the Sino-Peripherals Warning Area; and Japan & Democratic East Asia.

Due to huge aid, support, and influences of Japan, the India-Pacific Hot Spots and the Sino-Peripherals Warning Area, in addition to Democratic East Asia, have developed well economically and politically in these decades.

But, with military operations by Israel, the U.S., and even NATO countries, the Israel- Islam-India War Zone has been so dangerous actually and potentially in these years and decades.

Yet, this Zone must be the focus for mankind to secure its peace and prosperity in the 21st century, since it is characterized by the existence of the nation Israel, the location of Mecca, the world-largest crude oil reserves, and ever-ongoing wars, civil wars, and terror between different religious, racial, and political forces and camps.

SECTION II: Religious Division of the World

The Christendom surrounds the above “Our World” and North Africa.

However, please note that some part of the U.S., for example around New York, can be regarded as part of the Judaist domain.

The state of China is officially based on certain European philosophy. However, ordinary people and especially farmers seem to perform a kind of Taoism. Yet, there is underlying respect for Buddhism, so that China is here included in the Asian-Continental Buddhist world as with Tibet and Mongolia.

Money has universal power over any person of any religion. Modern industries can apply to any religious world. Economic globalization looks like never minding any religion.

However, you cannot declare that the U.S. dollar never admits any religion. You cannot declare that the U.S. Government, the sole issuer of the U.S. dollar bills, never respects any religion, since the U.S. dollar itself is a religion.

If so, religion is above the U.S. dollar. And, anything above the U.S. dollar in a no-nonsense value system must be fairly respected.

************************************************

That is all for today, since it is almost 6 p.m. of Thursday around Tokyo.

(When I was young, I happened to see a movie of Napoleon and Waterloo at a movie theater. I was highly moved for some reasons. But, WWII veterans might not like any such war movie.

"Be Great in the Sight of the Lord"

(A Tokyo Miracle)

"Be Great in the Sight of the Lord"

Mr. George H. W. Bush, a WWII veteran, graduated from Yale University; Mr. Bill Clinton attended Yale Law School; Mr. George W. Bush also finished Yale University; and Mr. Barack Obama entered Harvard Law School.

Yet, in Japan, since Kiichi Miyazawa in office of the Japanese premier between 1991 and 1993, no elite graduates from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, have assumed the premiership.

Maybe this might be regarded as one of the big revolutionary results from the decade-long economic slump in 1990’s of Japan, in my humble view (though ex-Prime Minister Mr. Yasuhiro Nakasone, a WWII veteran from the Tokyo Imperial University, is still active in the Japanese political community).

Yet, in the United States, it is said that 11 Presidents were from one family line.

SECTION I: Franklin D. Roosevelt (in office: March 4, 1933 – April 12, 1945)

On October 31, 1936, every audience hailed at the height of excitement to their new leader.

Since it was not in Berlin but at the Madison Square Garden, New York, that the electrifying speech was delivered, it was African Americans who drastically changed their political affiliation from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party:

--------------------------
For twelve years this Nation was afflicted with hear-nothing, see-nothing, do-nothing Government. The Nation looked to Government but the Government looked away. Nine mocking years with the golden calf and three long years of the scourge! Nine crazy years at the ticker and three long years in the breadlines! Nine mad years of mirage and three long years of despair! Powerful influences strive today to restore that kind of government with its doctrine that that Government is best which is most indifferent.

For nearly four years you have had an Administration which instead of twirling its thumbs has rolled up its sleeves. We will keep our sleeves rolled up.

We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace, business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionalism, war profiteering.

They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob.

Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me, and I welcome their hatred...

http://history.sandiego.edu/gen/text/us/fdr1936.html
--------------------------

However, Roosevelt was tested by the God, in my humble view, since he had been so blessed materially and mentally. It is as if a deal had been done on a trade off between a fatal disease and the position of the U.S. President.

--------------------------
In August 1921, while the Roosevelts were vacationing at Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Roosevelt contracted an illness, at the time believed to be polio, which resulted in Roosevelt's total and permanent paralysis from the waist down. For the rest of his life, Roosevelt refused to accept that he was permanently paralyzed. He tried a wide range of therapies, including hydro…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_D._Roosevelt
--------------------------

Yet, it might have been the death of his strong rival that allowed for Roosevelt’s successful turn to the left or liberalism.

-------------------------
Huey Pierce Long, Jr. (August 30, 1893 – September 10, 1935),.. created the Share Our Wealth program in 1934, with the motto "Every Man a King," ...the colorful and flamboyant Long was shot on September 8, 1935, at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge; he died two days later at the age of 42. His last words were reportedly, "God, don't let me die. I have so much left to do."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huey_Long#Assassination
-------------------------

In addition, what influence Roosevelt had on John Maynard Keynes might be of your concern, if you are of such a class of pundits, bureaucrats, or politicians whether or not struggling or playing around in the U.S. or Japan.

SECTION II: The Great Depression and Japan

Many American elite experts and professors must have tried to study and understand the history of Japan in terms of the Great Depression so as to gain an insight into other aspect of economy or economics that can be effectively applied to the U.S. economy and history.

Yet, no useful results have been ever heard, since Japan has been so unique even in comparison with authentic Judaists.

------------------------------------------------
With the Great Depression, Japan, like some other countries, turned to what has debatably been termed Fascism. It was a unique political form (see detailed discussion at Japanese nationalism), though with some European parallels. Unlike the regimes of Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, however, Japan had two economic goals in developing an empire.

First, as with its European counterparts, a tightly-controlled domestic military industry seems to have jump started the nation's economy in the midst of the depression. Also, due to the lack of natural resources on Japan's home islands, in order to maintain a strong industrial sector with strong growth, raw materials such as iron, oil, and coal largely had to be imported. Most of these materials came from the United States. So, for the sake of the military-industrial development scheme, and industrial growth on the whole, mercantilist theories prevailed, and the Japanese felt that resource-rich colonies were needed to compete with European powers. Korea (1910) and Formosa (Taiwan, 1895) had earlier been annexed as primarily agricultural colonies. Manchuria's iron and coal, Indochina's rubber, and China's vast resources were prime targets for industry.

http://academickids.com/encyclopedia/index.php/Empire_of_Japan
------------------------------------------------

The threat of the global economic crisis seems to always come from a scramble for natural resources, including iron, crude oil, and foods. What the Aso administration of Japan and the coming Obama Administration must share as the common view is that war in a period of recession is more dangerous than voters going for voting amid tremendous enthusiasm for a star politician.

***********************************

That is all for today.

(I am strongly against the President-elect Mr. Obama’s plan to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, since U.S. soldiers there are even unable to confirm damages they have given to the Taliban, as a midnight TV news program suggested for audience around Tokyo last night.

"In the Wilderness..."

(My humble TV as an evidence)

"In the Wilderness..."

Yesterday around 11:30 p.m., a miracle happened on my TV.

A few years ago when North Korea had blasted its humble nuclear bomb, my TV also malfunctioned on the very day or the very hour, believe it or not, though I continued to use it by hitting and punching the TV set for almost three months. Then, I purchased a flat TV, replacing the old CRT TV, almost two years ago.

But, this time, the TV set itself was OK and only images were lost on the screen as I could hear voices of newscasters. And, this morning the problem was well fixed, so that I can fully view and hear TV programs now.

However, the fact is that the God stopped me watching TV after 11:30 p.m. last night.

Now, I am seriously thinking about why.

SECTION I: Herbert C. Hoover (in office: 1929 - 1933)

I simply respect President Herbert C. Hoover, since he looks like having been very American.

When he was 16 years old, he started to California from Oregon by bicycle with only two suits of clothes in a bag and 160 dollars in his pocket.

------------------------------------------------
Hoover was born in on August 10, 1874 in West Branch, Iowa. He was the first President to be born west of the Mississippi River. His father, Jesse, was a blacksmith and farm implement store owner, of German (Pfautz, Wehmeyer) and German-Swiss (Huber, Burkhart) descent. His mother, Hulda (Minthorn) Hoover, was of English and Irish (probably Scots-Irish) descent. Both were Quakers. His father died in 1880, and his mother in 1884, leaving Hoover an orphan at the age of 9. After a brief stay with one of his grandmothers in Kingsley, Iowa, Herbert lived for the next 18 months with his uncle Allen Hoover in West Branch. In November 1885, he went to live in Newberg, Oregon with his uncle John Minthorn, whose own son had died the year before. For two and a half years, Herbert attended Friends Pacific Academy (now George Fox University), then subsequently worked as office boy in his uncle's real estate office in Salem. Though he did not attend high school, the young Hoover attended night school and learned bookkeeping, typing, and math.

Hoover entered Stanford University in 1891, the first year of the new California college. None of the first students were required to pay tuition….

Hoover married his Stanford sweetheart, Lou Henry, in 1899. Next they went to China, where Hoover worked for a private corporation as China's leading engineer. Hoover and his wife picked up Mandarin Chinese while he worked in China and used it during his tenure at the White House when they didn't want to be overheard.[7] The Boxer Rebellion trapped the Hoovers in Tianjin in June 1900. For almost a month the settlement was under heavy fire….

Hoover died at the age of 90 in New York City at 11:35 a.m. on October 20, 1964, 31 years and seven months after leaving office. He had outlived by 20 years his wife, Lou Henry Hoover, who had died in 1944…

Hoover was honored with a state funeral, the last of three in a span of 12 months, coming as it did just after the deaths of President John F. Kennedy and General Douglas MacArthur.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Hoover
------------------------------------------------

After WWII, ex-President Hoover visited Japan and urged the U.S. Government to offer more aid and support to improve food situations of Japan, then a war-ravaged poor country.

Anyway, it is a big surprise that ex-President Hoover was still alive when JFK was assassinated, looking back from today.

SECTION II: The Depression Era

The Gross National Product of the U.S. dropped by 44%.

The unemployment rate reached 25%, all due to the Great Depression that started in 1929.

It was just after WWII that the U.S. fully recovered and put an end to the Depression Era. It is because the Second World War needed full industrial capacity and operation of the U.S.

Conversely, the Great Depression was caused by imbalance of the level between industrial productive capacity and consumer demands. It is an excess of productive power in relation to purchasing power.

Domestically, farmers could not buy any more; factory workers could not buy any more; and rich people would not like to buy more, since they lost huge financial assets.

Internationally, Latin America and East Asia were yet to grow up as a big market for the powerful American industry.

Consequently, business, namely buying and selling goods and commodities, got into a slump. No one could change or improve the situation.

The era looks like as if having been waiting for a big purchase order from the Federal Government inclining to making a great war with Nazi Germany as well as the Empire of Japan without knowing Japan's military capability of producing 10,000 Zero fighter planes and the world mightiest war ships.

Conversely, without the Great Depression, the U.S. Government might not have been so eager to proceed so determinedly to the war.

The Evening and The Morning

(Tokyo Metropolitan City Hall)

The Evening and The Morning

It was almost 9 p.m. yesterday that I reached a postbox in front of a postal office, since I had been out to Tokyo.

At a supermarket, however, they were selling foods at reduced prices for customers who would rather come at this hour of a Sunday night or any night.

I got one at half a regular price and went back home in the coldness of the winter.

SECTION I: A French Movie

In the last Saturday night, I happened to see a French movie on a cable TV channel, though it was not a genre of works applicable to the commercial Golden Globe Awards.

A French movie director, enjoying a success in Paris, bought a big mansion in a local province. When he first visited the place with his crew, he found that it happened to be the one that had once impressed him so badly.

One day when the French film director was a child, namely before the First World War, his family was walking a long way to home trying to cut a corner by passing through woods which belonged to the mansion. But, they were caught by an ill-natured guard, with a big black dog, who especially intimidated his mother who actually fell into a faint immediately after the on-site tentative interrogation. Since then, she had a fear even seeing the big mansion from a distance, though friends of the boy’s family taught the guard a lesson later, for the boy’s father was a respectable teacher.

As the auteur recalled what had happened in those days, especially that his mother had died several years after the horrible incident around the mansion, he ran straight to an old door on a wall at the edge of the big garden through which his family had once trodden in misery passing the big yard of the mansion to their home.

In a burst of passion, the Parisian picked up a big stone to smash and destroy the rotten, wooden door. Then, beyond the broken door, the grown-up son saw his mother at a distance standing and smiling, still young but feeble as if decades ago.

Indeed, the French countryside looks rather brighter than forests in the north of the Rhine.

SECTION II: Patois

It is said that before the French Revolution, those who spoke or could speak the French Language accounted only 33% or one in three of all the French population.

This kind of language aspects of France might give a clue to an answer to one important issue: how the Roman troops influenced development of ancient France.

------------------------------
In France and other Francophone countries, patois has been used to describe non-Parisian French and so-called regional languages such as Breton, Occitan, and Franco-Provençal, since 1643. The word assumes the view of such languages as being backward, countrified, and unlettered, thus is considered by speakers of those languages as offensive when used by outsiders. Jean Jaurès said "one names patois the language of a defeated nation"[3]. Speakers may use the term in a non-derogatory sense to refer familiarly to their own language (See also: Languages of France.)

------------------------------

The fact that French people today use a Romance language but not a Germanic language means that there must have been a huge influx of people and an influence from the Roman Empire to the region now called France.

As some European descendants today living in South America rather preserve original European languages as they were common when their ancestors were living in Europe, the fall of the Roman Empire might be possibly further studied and elucidated with a focus on French languages including those patois.

That is simply all for today.

(Anyway, day and night, people had better pray, say, in Paris, Washington D.C., or Tokyo, since the God does not sound like pleased at all, very recently. You do not have to shout "Go GM!" or apply for a job in the Obama Administration, but just pray.)

Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
