Don't Judge Others

If you are alone, you have still two relationships: the one with yourself and another between you and the God.

But in terms of human relationships, you have only one: A to A.

If there are two persons (A and B), they have four relationships: two for each one's own relationship (A-A and B-B), one between them (A-B), and the last one for the group of [A, B] to itself that is expressed as [A, B]-[A, B].

If there are three persons (A, B and C), there are 13 relationships (A-A, B-B, C-C, A-B, A-C, B-C, A-[B, C], B-[C, A], C-[A, B], [A, B]-[A, B], [B, C]-[B, C], [C, A]-[C, A], [A, B, C]-[A, B, C]).

Here A-[B, C] means the relationship between A and the group of B and C.  And [A, B]-[A, B] means the relationship of the group [A, B] to itself.  Lastly, [A, B, C]-[A, B, C] is the relationship of the group [A, B, C] to itself.

So, if you are alone, no mystery would happen.  If anything has been done, it is you that has done it.  But, if there are three persons, a mystery would occur.  If anything has been done, you cannot easily tell who or what relationship can be a cause of the event.  The relationship of someone to himself might be a cause or the relationship between A and the group of B and C might be a cause.

That is why in this world you must not blame anybody so easily.  If A killed B, the true cause might be simply A's psychological problem (A-A) or the relationship between A and the group of B and C (A-[B, C]).

Even if A thinks his enemy is B, the true antagonism might arise from the relationship between A and the group of B and C.

In a community of 10 persons or 100 persons, it would be more complicated.  That is why we must not judge others, according to the teaching of Christ Jesus.

In addition, that is why a man and a woman must be husband and wife on the permanent base.

A 1995 Heroic Nurse Returned to Her Hometown

I saw a TV program that featured a nurse who saved and helped many evacuees of the 1995 Hanshin-Kobe Great Earthquake.

She then continued her mission to save and help victims of natural disasters in Japan and abroad.  Ms. Kuroda even ventured into disaster-stricken areas of the 2011 Great Northeast Japan Tsunami as soon as the catastrophic disaster occurred to support various medical and human-care activities.  She was respected especially by old people who evacuated their homes and were forced to live in shelters and temporary houses.

Ms. Kuroda was also a well known expert in the field of emergency medical care in the medical society.

She died in her 70s last year for cancer.

Her last wish was to move to a hospital in her birthplace, Shimane Prefecture, though she was hospitalized in Kobe City of Hyogo Prefecture.

Ms. Kuroda was transferred to Izumo City and a university hospital by airplane while receiving medical care.  In the hospital in her old hometown, she died watching the landscape.

For 20 years from 1995 when the big earthquake occurred in the Hanshin area around Kobe and Osaka of west Japan, where she had been working in hospitals for 40 years, to 2014 when she died in the middle of her humanitarian mission, she was working without even taking one-day holiday.  She was always moving from a disastrous area to another to take care of those who needed medical and mental help.

But what was in her mind was the landscape of a country town where she was born and raised.  She left her parents' home after graduating from a junior high school to enter a nurse school in the Hanshin area.

There are some elements in her life that are also related to me, so that the TV program was so interesting.

In this week, all the Japanese Media have been busy reporting the ISIS hostage case involving Japanese journalist Mr. Kenji Goto and war-oriented adventurer Mr. Haruna Yukawa in addition to a Jordanian pilot held by ISIS and a female terrorist held by the Jordan Government.

One Japanese ex-diplomat wrote on the net that Jordan and Japan are subject to the US, so that both the countries would follow suggestions from the US Government.  It means that there would be no exchange between Goto or the Jordanian pilot and the female terrorist.

It is said that Amman is a key Arabic city for CIA.  There must be some influential CIA agents in the capital of Jordan.  Accordingly, ISIS or ISIL must target Amman in this hostage game.  If a majority of the Jordanian people come to hate an American influence on the Jordan Government through a proceeding of this incident, ISIS might think they have succeeded.

The true major player in this hostage case seem to be CIA.

But, sooner or later ISIS will be destroyed.  Then, will the US Government be committed in Syria and Iraq on a long-time basis?

Nonetheless, it may look a little strange that Israel and Dubai are not hidden major players in this game, at least, so far as now.

The first biblical prophetic book is the Book of Amos.

Amos blamed rich Hebrews for their disregard of poor people. It was like Christ Jesus blamed rich Isrealis, though Amos lived almost 800 years earlier than Christ.

The Book of Amos is a prophetic book of the Hebrew Bible, one of the Twelve Minor Prophets. Amos, an older contemporary of Hosea and Isaiah,[1] was active c. 750 BC during the reign of Jeroboam II,[1] (786–746 BC) making the Book of Amos the first biblical prophetic book written. Amos lived in the kingdom of Judah but preached in the northern kingdom of Israel.[1] His major themes of social justice, God's omnipotence, and divine judgment became staples of prophecy.

The Book of Amos is set in a time when the people of Israel have reached a low point in their devotion to the God of Israel – the people have become greedy and have stopped following and adhering to their values. The wealthy elite are becoming rich at the expense of others. Peasant farmers who once practiced subsistence farming are being forced to farm what is best for foreign trade, mostly wine and oil. (Amos 6:6)

Over and over again and time and time again, human kingdoms, nations, and societies got corrupt.  But for the first time a prophet told that God would punish people due to their corruption.  The prophet was Amos.  And it was far before ancient Greece's prosperity, Alexander the Great's adventure, and the glory of Caesar.  Indeed, Hebrews have been the chosen people by God even in this context.

This prophecy still looks like applicable to nations of the present day in the world.  

Judgment on Israel 

6 Thus says the Lord:
“For three transgressions of Israel,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because they sell the righteous for silver,
and the needy for a pair of sandals—
7 those who trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth
and turn aside the way of the afflicted;

Today, still the rich trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth.  God must punish people over and over again and time and time again.

Indeed, Christ Jesus looks like a kind of successor to the prophet Amos.

The Holocaust and The Industrial Revolution

The Holocaust was a result of wrong advancement of the European civilization through the 18th century to the 19th and the early 20th centuries.

Without the Industrial Revolution that started in England in the late 18th century, the Holocaust should not have happened.

The modern industry emerging through the Industrial Revolution had a strong influence on the human mind sets of Europeans in the period.  It was so powerful and effective in producing modern industrial goods.  But it gave higher priority to inhuman efficiency and control.  People were forced to obey the rule of technology, machine, business, management, and capitalism.  People were requested to neglect human sides of their minds and human values in the environment so as to pursue wealth and material success.

Everything unnecessary, wasteful,  unwanted, and cumbersome was requested to be removed from factories, offices, and industrial systems.  To eradicate whatever is obstacle to achieving a high target was regraded as something good.

This principle was applied to politics and religion, so wrongly.

Then, Judaists in Europe faced the Holocaust in WWII.

Nazis thought they were doing something good like engineers thought they were doing something good when they removed interfering factors from their engineering systems.

So, without the Industrial Revolution having been driven in such a manner, there should have been no Holocaust.

Can Islam prevail in the US in future?

Islam in the United States is the third-largest faith in America, after Christianity and Judaism, representing 0.6% of the population.

While an estimated 30% of the slaves brought to colonial America from Africa arrived as Muslims, Islam was stringently suppressed on plantations.

American Muslims come from various backgrounds, and are one of the most racially diverse religious groups in the United States according to a 2009 Gallup poll.

In 2005, more people from Islamic countries became legal permanent United States residents — nearly 96,000 — than in any year in the previous two decades. In 2009, more than 115,000 Muslims became legal residents of the United States.

The U.S. Census Bureau does not collect data on religious identification.

There are 2 million Muslim adherents across the country in 2010.  Islamic populations are 0.6% of the US population per Fareed Zakaria quoting Pew Research Center, 2010.

It was estimated in 2002 that Muslims constitute 45% of the population of Africa.[3] Islam has a large presence in North Africa, the Horn of Africa, the Swahili Coast, and much of West Africa, with minority but significant immigrant populations in South Africa.

However there are 160 million Muslims in India, and 22 million Muslims in China.

Incidentally, it is not clear how many Japanese Muslims are.  It is estimated to be from less than 1,000 to 20,000.  They are mostly spouses of foreign Muslims.  Among 125 million Japanese, they have almost no influence in the Japanese society.

The point at issue is how much Muslims can respect heathens and how much Americans, Japanese, Chinese and Hindus respect Muslims.

Will Muslims never attack heathens?  Will Americans, Chinese, and Hindus never attack Muslims?

If they cannot promise it, God should interfere.

The Bible teaches that the rich will be richer and the poor will be poorer.

But, Christ Jesus said: "Those who don't have enough will have whatever little things he has taken away."

Economic situations are mere results of spiritual conditions.  If you become a servant of Satan, you can be rich.  If you stick to the teaching of God, you will remain poor.

And those who sell their souls to Satan in exchange of wealth will be further more evil as time goes by.  The richer they become, the more evil they will be.  And as they are getting more evil, they are going to be richer and richer.

To understand this movement, you don't need specific economic theories.

I only have to point at the fact that, from the beginning, money is an instrument invented by Satan to make mankind foolish and sinful.  Having big money is being trapped by devils in various ways.

But what is more remarkable is that God takes away whatever little conscience and belief in the teaching of God they have when they are getting more evil and richer.

Accordingly, their end will come from Heaven but not from the hell full of money.  No matter how much you become rich, if you completely lose your faith in God and human conscience, you cannot maintain your existence as a human being, since God allows a human being to exist only as long as he has any little faith in God.

Those evil and rich people are advancing to their catastrophe while they are getting richer and richer and losing faith in God more and more.

And, the poor will be saved if they stick to their faith in God.

But, what the Kingdom of God will be for them?

It happened with the occupation of Vietnam by the Imperial Japanese Military in WWII.  France left Vietnam, while losing war against Nazi Germany in Europe, but afterward returned to Vietnam to continue its colonial rule, when WWII finally ended with the surrender of Tokyo after the US atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

However Vietnamese fought its independence war to finally drive French troops out of the nation in the Indochina Peninsula.  Nonetheless, Vietnam was divided into the communist north and the capitalist or Buddhist south.

Then the Vietnam War erupted as the north tried to absorb the south while South Vietnam Government tied up with the US.  Though corruption of Saigon was so grave, the US sent totally half a million troops to support them till early 1970s.  The Soviet Union and China backed up North Vietnam, supplying a huge amount of weapons and other various aid.  Surprisingly, the US lost the bloody War and totally left Indochina.

The sense of loss of America was so deep that the American Government tried to revenge the defeat, targeting the Soviet Union that strongly supported Hanoi as part of its global strategy in the Cold War.  The then US administration took notice of situations in Afghanistan controlled by Moscow at the time.  America helped Islamic insurgents against the Soviet Union.  CIA even cooperated with Osama bin Laden who joined the Afghan Civil War, coming from Saudi Arabia.

Eventually the Soviet Union gave up Afghanistan and withdrew its troops.  Islamic fighters and the Taliban, supported by part of the Pakistan Government, started to rule Afghanistan.  And, America lost interest in the region and stopped involvement in politics in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolution occurred and the pro-US Iranian king was ousted.  Islamic revolutionary militias invaded the US Embassy in Tehran.  The Islamic Republic of Iran became an enemy of the US.

As retaliation, the US encouraged Iraq to launch a war against Iran.  Iraqi President Saddam Hussein continued the Iraq-Iran War from 1980 to 1988.  It was a futile war; both the countries wan nothing.  But, Saddam Hussein looked like having a conviction that the US recognized Iraq's strong presence in the Persian Gulf region as he was supported by the US Government in the War.

In 1990, Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait and tried to invade Saudi Arabia while the Soviet Union was getting disintegrated.  For the US Government, Saudi Arabia was more important than Iraq.  So, the US entered a war, called the Gulf War, against Iraq with other Western and Islamic countries.  The Iraqi military was severely destroyed, but US President George Bush did not allow US troops to advance to Baghdad.  Saddam Hussein survived, but the US and the UK continued their air campaigns on some part of Iraq.

However, during this War, though it substantially continued only for a month, hundreds of thousands of American soldiers came to the Persian Gulf region.  And, America built military bases even in Saudi Arabia.  This huge influx of Americans into Saudi Arabia provoked some extreme Muslims, including Osama bin Laden who came to be at strife with pro-US Saudi Government and moved to Afghanistan to tie up with the Taliban. .

In 2001, terrorists led by Osama bin Laden and his Al Qaeda launched a large-scale attack on Washington DC and New York, being driven by hatred toward the US that was shared with some extreme Muslims.  US President George W. Bush declared the War on Terror.  The US sent hundreds of thousands of troops to Afghanistan and Iraq, though Iraq had almost no linkage with Al Qaeda.  The Taliban regime in Afghanistan toppled down and Saddam Hussein was captured and executed.

In 2011, the US completed withdrawal of its troops from Iraq while Osama bin Laden was executed by US special commandos in the year; at the end of 2014, the US military and NATO troops officially finished its military operation in Afghanistan.

And now, acts of terror are so rampant from Pakistan to Afghanistan and from Iraq to Syria.  The worst of terror groups is ISIS that recently attacked a magazine company in Paris and took two Japanese hostage in Syria.

Indeed, this sub-era began with acts of colonialist France and the Empire of Japan in Vietnam.  Truly, without the War on Terror, the Gulf War, the Iraq-Iran War, the Afghan Civil War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and WWII, today there must not be ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other Islamic terrorists from Africa to Indonesia.

We have to learn history to understand the world today.

Some Japanese or Japanese groups are really engaged in support activities for Muslims in Syria, Iraq, etc.

Turkish charity Kimse Yok Mu collaborated with the Tokyo Camii and Turkish Cultural Center to help transport $77,000 worth of humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees residing in the southern city of Adana near the Syrian border.

Since The Islamic State (IS) began its military campaign against Ayn al-Arab (Kobane in Kurdish), Northern Syria, on September 19, more than 188,000 Syrians have crossed the border and fled to South-Eastern Turkey (UN, 14.10.2014). The humanitarian aid effort by the Turkish government and the international community has not been able to keep up with the drastic increase in the number of refugees. AAR Japan is distributing food and basic daily necessities in Suruc District, Sanliurfa Province where there is a refugee population. Hiroko NAITO of AAR Japan reports on their relief efforts.

JICA provides multifaced assistance to Jordan on Syrian refugees’ issue

Since the eruption of the crisis in Syria in March 2011, Jordan started receiving Syrian refugees, where their current numbers have exceeded half million already, and thus represent almost 10% of the population in Jordan, which consequently puts Jordan on the top of list among Syria’s neighbors in receiving and containing the largest portion of the Syrian refugees. This is ongoing despite the fact that Jordan has scarce water and mineral resources and currently goes through difficult fiscal challenges. 

Whether inside or outside refugee camps, this huge influx of the Syrian refugees have put huge financial, social and security burden on Jordan, and in recognition to this fact and the need toact swiftly in helping Jordan, the Government of Japan through
JICA decided to extend multifaced assistance to Jordan. The first came quickly in January 2013 in response to floods that affected the Za’atari Refugee Camp in the Mafraq Governorate that is believed to have affected 48,000 of the camp residents back then, in the shape of providing in-kind emergency relief support to the Za’atari Refugee Camp represented by providing 50 winterized tents and 3900 winter blankets. Distribution of these items took place in coordination with the United Nations Higher Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC).

The ongoing unrest in Syria that has been escalating since March 2011 has caused the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians, and as many as 70,000 people have died according to the UN(13/Feb/2013).

In order to support Syrian people under this disastrous situation “Sadaqa” was established by volunteers mainly consisted of JOCV(Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers) and students in Meiji Gakuin University, Japan, who had previously lived or visited Syria. “Sadaqa” means “friendship” in Arabic, and this name reflects our hope to maintain our connection with Syria and Syrian people that have a special place in our hearts.

In general, Japanese people have almost nothing to do with Islam, but they understand that Islam is a real region.  And, they believe humanity is the same in every human being, whether he or she is a Muslim or not.  So, they love people who live in the Middle East and happen to be Muslims.

However, it is not sure how much the fact that Japan imports 70% of its imported oil from the world from the Middle East has an influence on the minds of ordinary Japanese people.

Japanese journalist Kenji Goto and self-styled military consultant Haruna Yukawa held as hostages by Islamic State arrived in war-torn region with different plans

Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa arrived in the Middle East on very different journeys, but became friends on the road into the heartland of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil).


Goto is a freelance journalist from Tokyo with a reputation for reporting from some of the world's most inhospitable places. He has written books on the impact of Aids on Africa and been on assignment for several of Japan's main news broadcasters in Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq and other hot-spots across Africa and Asia. 

In July last year, he posted a message on Facebook seeking assistance from an association of Iraqi journalists to get to Baghdad for a new assignment.
Goto and Yukawa apparently first met in Aleppo in April 2013, with Goto subsequently helping Yukawa to travel to Baghdad. 

Goto is quoted in media as saying that Yukawa had befriended members of the Free Syrian Army, one of the factions fighting in Syria, and that they trusted him because he was so un-soldierly in his approach. They shared meals with him and introduced him to their families in refugee camps.

Media reports have suggested that Yukawa is a self-styled military consultant, although it appears he is more of a war enthusiast who wanted to get close to the fighting in Syria. 

In the footage, the interrogator accuses Yukawa of being a member of the CIA. 

After his capture, Reuters quoted friends and family of Yukawa as saying that he was on a journey of self-discovery after his wife died of lung cancer, his business had failed and his house had been repossessed. Yukawa had been living rough in a Tokyo park for a month before he left for the Middle East, according to his father. 

He also reportedly attempted to commit suicide, changed his name to the more feminine-sounding Haruna and had begun to associate with some of Japan's more extreme nationalist organisations.

Anyway, these two Japanese are very exceptional types among the 125 million Japanese, though the video footage of the two in custody released today over the Internet, which is apparently targeted at PM Abe's visit to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel now going on, has become big news in Japan.

It is atheism, rather than the freedom of press, that is behind the French culture.

Atheists are better than Protestants for the Vatican, while atheists are better than Catholics for Protestants.

Atheists might come to become Protestants if Protestants can persuade them to join their religion.   Atheists might come to become Catholics if Catholics can persuade them to join their religion.

Accordingly, the freedom of press implies the balance between the Vatican, Protestant churches, and atheists.

But for Muslims it is unthinkable that a man can be an atheist.  It is because the Koran is so holy and superb.  It could not be written without holy guidance of God.  The presence of the Koran proves existence of God.  It is unbelievable for Muslims to deny existence of God, since it is tantamount to denying the Koran and its holy power.

But it is not so uncomfortable for Muslims to live with atheists in France.  Because Muslims could have a sense of superiority while European atheists also confirm their superiority against "slaves of religion."

In addition, European Judaists like atheists.  They are very safe for Judaists.  And for all of them, the freedom of press is an important tool to allow atheists to survive and increase their number.

The situation is complicated, but what is at the core is simple: atheists.   Or should we regard atheists as believers of Satan?

What is the most strange is that no Bibles have been written in these 1,900 years.

No continuation of the Old Testament has been written, and no Gospels or the fifth or the sixth one has been written.

It is very strange while Judaists have been living for 2,000 years and Christians have been living for the same period of time after the First Emergence of Christ Jesus.

More Testaments and Bibles should have been created, but only the Koran was edited in these 2,000 years as a new holy book.

Have Judaists and Christians lost spiritual ability to communicate with holy spirits?  But it seems that only holy Muhammad was endowed such ability with in these centuries.

If such a new Bible or Testament is to be produced in the US, it must probably begin with the 9/11 Terror of 2001 and continue with descriptions on the 2008 Financial Crisis.

If it should be written in Japan, it must probably start with description of the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 and continue with the 1995 Hanshin-Kobe Earthquake and Tokyo subway terror with a sarin gas and further the 2011 Northeast Japan Great Tsunami and subsequent Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident.    

Maybe some holy men are writing such a holy book now.  But how are they being guided by holy ghosts?

For instance, last night I met an American woman in my dream.  She spoke Japanese while I was speaking English.  And finally she disappeared while I was checking something at the counter of a railway station.  She said something about a domiciliary register before the disappearing act.

New authors of the future Testament or Gospel must be guided by angels even in their dreams like holy Mohammed was guided by the angel Gabriel.


By the way what were your ancestors fourteen generations ago doing?  If it translates into 500 years, it was when Columbus discovered America.  It is time for an American or somebody to enter into the writing of a modern Gospel.
