A Long Way to Recognize God

The relationship between God and the whole mankind and also each individual is the last and the most important issue for the human species.

In any civilization, including the ancient Egyptian one, there is a religion and a myth.  Animals do not think about somebody with super and super-natural power.  They are just afraid of danger brought on them by other animals or natural phenomena.  They are not thankful to the nature that nourish them.  But human beings started to think, from a log time ago or millions of years ago, that there exited spirits, namely non material existence, in environment within or out of the nature, since their minds and hearts were spiritual.

"Something very powerful, horrible, or merciful must exist beyond the nature," they must have thought.  And as human beings advanced in their recognition and cogitation, they came to think there might be something that controlled their fates, since some people were lucky and others were very unlucky beyond the limit of individuals' efforts.  And, "that something must be spiritual existence," they must have concluded.

Human beings living 10,000 years ago or a million years ago thought about their death.  They of course knew that their physical death meant the end of work of their minds and hearts.  But as they could recognize that their minds and hearts constituted their own inner domain, they thought that their souls, the sources of work of their minds and hearts, should belong to another world.  And the world must be an independent world from the material nature. "When we die, our bodies are destroyed and decayed but their souls must survive in another world," human beings came to believe clearly at least 250,000 years ago when Homo sapiens was established or as some groups of primates or the genus Homo came to believe so, they became Homo sapience whose only existent group is us, the mankind.

The development from the stage of primates to the mankind through the phases of Homo species must be guided by the development of recognition of spiritual existence and realization of inner souls of their own minds.

Anatomically modern humans evolved from archaic humans in the Middle Paleolithic, about 200,000 years ago.[3] The emergence of anatomically modern human marks the dawn of the subspecies Homo sapiens sapiens,[4] i.e. the subspecies of Homo sapiens that includes all modern humans.

In this context, it has been just 200,000 years since some species on the earth started to clearly sense and respect some spiritual existence.

Conversely, because one species came to sense existence of souls and spiritual entities, it could develop from domains of orangutans,  gorillas, and chimpanzees.  And, some group in the species further developed their recognition of souls and spiritual entities to become Homo sapiens sapiens.

Therefore, the key feature that characterizes the mankind is its recognition of its souls and spiritual entities around it.

In this context, the decisive factor that allowed for evolution of living things to the mankind is self recognition of their souls and spiritual entities around them.  Therefore, what made formation of the human species possible is not physical features but strength of self-recognition of their souls and ability to sense the spiritual world.

Since a living thing was first generated on the earth 4 billion years ago, there was always a group of living things that focused on their inner world that developed to minds and hearts through the phases of one-cell organisms, multicellular organisms, fishes, amphibians, mammals, primates, and homo sapiens sapiens.

The tendency of human beings to focus on their own inner world, souls, spiritual domains, and God is not a result of evolution.  But rather, a driving factor of evolution to the human species from, extremely, one-cell organisms.  Our ancestors must have been always focusing on their internal spheres even when they were one-cell organisms, multicellular organisms, fishes, amphibians, mammals, and primitive primates.

However, after the establishment of human beings with a feature of focusing on souls and spirit, they had to still live long and go a long way till they found the Sole Creator of the Universe who is the only and one God.

Today, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam claim that their is only one God who created the whole world.   And, all the mankind knows it.  So, it has taken 4 billion years that living things on the earth come to correctly believe in existence of God that created all the living things.

So, the future evolution of homo sapiens sapiens should also rely on this feature of the mankind of focusing on their own souls, the spiritual domain, and God.

How could Christ Jesus get foods?

To know the answer, we have to live and act like Him.  We have to live and act as God wishes, and then God should feed us like He feeds birds in the sky.

As Christ Jesus said, we have to first seek holy justice, and then whatever is needed for our lives should be given by God.

In this way, as Christ Jesus was traveling from a village to another, God must have provided foods and meals for Christ Jesus through villagers who were healed by or came to believe Christ Jesus.

In other word, Christ Jesus had no need for money to buy foods, since villagers who saw miracles offered meals for free.

And remarkably, Christ Jesus did not beg foods like today's politicians beg votes from voters.

The big difference from the world of today with democratic political systems is that Christ Jesus had holy authority.  Politicians today have no such authority.  And voters in a democratic nation have also no divine authority.  Voters' voice is not a voice of God.

Voices of God can be only delivered by saints such as Christ Jesus in any era.

In this context, to make the world better, we had better to strengthen our faith so that God would give some authority to some members of our society.  It is because democracy can be controlled by voters who might even follow Satan.

Christ Jesus said to love God with all of your might and ability, which means putting the highest priority in the teaching of God.

However, people usually put the highest priority in their own lives with riches, security, wealth, safety, and other factors of their own happiness.

According to the teaching of Christ Jesus, we have to put the teaching of God before our individual matters, family matters, social matters, national matters, and even matters of the human species.  We have to live for God but not for ourselves, our families, our communities, our nations, and the human species.

It is because though our physical bodies are made of molecules and atoms, our minds and hearts are made of our spirits God gave to us individually.  Our ability to recognize ourselves with consciousness and use higher intellect was given by God.  The work of our brains and power of minds and hearts are linked to the spiritual world that is above the material world.  As Christ Jesus suggested, God sends spirits to human beings.

Put simply, we have to admit that we were created by God and we are not simple results of random phenomena of the nature.

If we don't put the highest priority to God, we will put our desire to the highest position.  That is why Hitler could take the leadership in Germany before WWII.  That is why dictators such as Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein, Qaddafi, etc. took power.  It is because people without faith in God would try to be happy by sacrificing others, especially, the poor, the weak, the handicapped, the minority, etc.

In this context, the American politics is paradoxical.  If Americans want to liberate people perfectly as some Democrats claim, they have to have deeper faith in God as some Republicans claim.  In reality, less faithful Democrats are focusing on justice for minorities, which could be only realized by more faithful Republicans.

This discrepancy of American political and religious domains has led to the rise of the Mafia-type figure named Trump.  The cause of popularity of Presidential candidate Trump lies in this inconsistency of the American political and religious conditions.

To stop Trump, Americans have to keep the teaching of God first and foremost.

Christ Jesus said to be complete like your Father in Heaven who is God.

To be complete is to perform something 100% to requirements.  For example, to finish a work in any genre must meet this teaching.  But, believing in God 100% will be complete belief.

You can make efforts that may be measured by quantity of your achievements.  For example you may walk 100 km, 1,000 km, or 10,000 km.  But you cannot see when it will be complete.  But, if you walk in a wrong direction, no matter how much you may walk, it is incomplete.

But if you never lose a right direction, your 10 km walking to the right direction may be complete.  In this sense, to find a right direction is the first step for us to be complete.

Christ Jesus also said that we cannot serve both God and Mammon at the same time.  If we serve God 100% in our daily lives, we may be complete.  But if we serve God 50% while enjoying riches, social status, and privileges, it cannot be complete.

To be complete as a human being is to live 100% as God requests us to live.

Who are the parents of the mother of Christ Jesus?

In the second century, a devout Christian sought to supply a fuller account of Mary’s birth and family, to satisfy the interest and curiosity of believers. An apocryphal gospel, known as the Protevangelium of James or The Nativity of Mary, appeared. It included legendary stories of Mary’s parents Joachim and Anne. These stories were built out of Old Testament narratives of the births of Isaac and of Samuel (whose mother’s name, Hannah, is the original form of Anne), and from traditions of the birth of John the Baptist. It is said that the father of Joseph, the father of Jesus, is Jacob.  But who was the mother of the father of Christ Jesus?

One interesting episode about Christ Jesus is wedding at Cana:

John 2:1-11 states that while Jesus was attending a wedding in Cana with his disciples, the party ran out of wine. Jesus' mother (unnamed in John's Gospel) told Jesus, "They have no wine," and Jesus replied, "O Woman, what has this to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother then said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you" (John 2:3-5). Jesus ordered the servants to fill containers with water and to draw out some and take it to the chief steward waiter. After tasting it, without knowing where it came from, the steward remarked to the bridegroom that he had departed from the custom of serving the best wine first by serving it last (John 2:6-10). John adds that: "Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee and it revealed his glory and his disciples believed in him (John 2:11)".

This is a very rare occasion that Christ Jesus attended a social ceremony.  And, in this wedding feast, Mother Mary gave an instruction to the servants.  She seems to have some authority there.  But, as Mother Mary had no brothers and sisters, this must not be marriage related to her parents' home.  And especially Christ Jesus seems to have been obliged to attend the wedding feast by accompanying His mother.  But who's wedding was it?

If it had not been related to Mother Mary's parents' home, it must have been related to the house of Jesus' father, Joseph.  But Joseph did not look like attending the feast.  Rather, it looks like Christ Jesus attended the feast in lieu of His father Joseph.

However, according the Gospels, when Jesus returned to Nazareth, some villagers tried to kill Him by pushing Him out of a cliff.

So, it is estimated that Joseph had already left the village, Nazareth, for some difficult reason.  But there was wedding whose feast the parents of Christ Jesus were obliged to attend.  As Joseph was absent, Mother Mary asked Christ Jesus to accompany her.  And, Joseph did not return to Nazareth and took up his duty in the village.  Accordingly, villagers did not have good feeling to Mother Mary and Christ Jesus in Nazareth.  It is interesting where Joseph had gone, leaving his wife Mary.

Anyway, the couple whose wedding had been blessed by Christ Jesus through His attendance at their wedding feast seem to have not been very much grateful to Christ Jesus, since there were no mentions about them in the Gospels.

Christ Jesus said to be kind to thankless people.  So, the miracle in wedding at Cana was described in the Bible.

By the way, the servants must have hidden some wine in a vase for water for themselves.  Christ Jesus could see through it.  So, He said to pour water from the vase, which was actually hidden wine.

In Islamic eschatology, Masih ad-Dajjal is an anti-messiah figure (similar to the Christian concept of Antichrist), who will appear to deceive humanity before the second coming of "Isa",[4] as Jesus is known by Arabic-speaking Muslims. 

In some schools of non-legalistic medieval Jewish eschatology, a comparable (parodic) anti-Messiah figure, son of a virgin, is called Armilus, "a king who will arise at the end of time against the Messiah, and will be conquered by him after having brought much distress upon Israel."[5] The concept of an antichrist is absent in traditional Judaism; however, in the medieval diaspora, his inevitable destruction is narrated as the symbol of ultimate victory of good over evil in the Messianic age.

From the beginning there were many enemies of Christ Jesus.  And there were many unbelievers.

They may be categorized as follows:
1) Those who hate God since they love evil while they hate good.
2) Those who cannot accept the teaching of Christ Jesus as they love money and pursue desire.
3) Those who are brainwashed by evil spirits or Satan.
4) Those who cannot feel love or compassion to the poor, the weak, or unhappy people.
5) Those who cannot believe existence of God.

In this global economy, businesses are trying hard to sell their goods and services.  If consumers don't like their goods and services, businesses will go bankrupt.  So, they have to make consumers want their goods and services.  Those companies use TV commercials and every channel for advisement to arouse lust of consumers.  They present fabulous and luxurious goods and life styles using good looking actors and actresses.  They further offer attractive financial goods to rich consumers.  And consumers try to get big money to purchase those goods and services to satisfy their desire.  But there are all directed to the hell, since behind the scene of this commercialism there is Satan.

So, in this era of global economy, the Antichrist may appear as a smart and successful business leader.

Indeed, there seem to be millions of followers of the Antichrist in the global business community.  That is why you must not admire successful business men and billionaires.

Everybody knows that one and one is equal to two, and two and two is four.

We live in the universe where this kind of arithmetic is valid and correct.  And scientists believe that this kind of arithmetic is valid and correct in any universes that are created from vacuum energy.

Then no matter how many different universes are created from vacuum energy, they are in the same  group of universes where that kind of arithmetic is valid and correct.

What I mean is there are other groups of universes where such arithmetic is no more valid and correct.  Such universes must be generated from different types of energy than vacuum energy.

The modern physics cannot handle a universe where different mathematics is prevailing.  And, the modern science cannot even assume different mathematics than ours.  But proof or denial of existence of such a different mathematical system cannot be done using our mathematics.

Conversely, if a mathematical system we use is the only one in all the groups of universes, why is it so?  To prove it, some system above the mathematical system is necessary.  Then, what is such a superior system?

It tells that everything we take for granted might be just a tiny part of large-scale hierarchical truth.

In deed, what are we?  What is our universe?  What is our mathematical system?  Are they all a tiny part of large-scale hierarchical truth?

It means that there is a limit of our ability.  It is only effective in our universe based on our mathematical system.  And there must be many different types of universes and mathematical systems.

And, above them all, God must exist.  God must be creators of all these different types of groups of universes.  But then, what is God?

We can only live in love of God and we can think of God in love of God.  We only have to love God with all of our might and ability.  

It is important to keep in mind that the multiverse view is not actually a theory, it is rather a consequence of our current understanding of theoretical physics. This distinction is crucial. We have not waved our hands and said: “Let there be a multiverse”. Instead the idea that the universe is perhaps one of infinitely many is derived from current theories like quantum mechanics and string theory.

The Last Issue for the Mankind

As our scientific knowledge advances, the final issue for mankind should appear: Is there any super-intelligence that created this universe?

This universe is thought to have been created from the so-called vacuum energy.  This energy was transformed to time and space and further to elemental particles that constituted atoms, resulting in this material world in which we live.

Without specific design at the phase of the vacuum energy, this universe and the nature and further this material world are impossible.  So, this fact leads to recognition of God as the Creator.

But some unbelievers might claim that a spate of physical laws that contributed to the building of this nature must be generated only by chance.  However, as I mentioned, the possibility of the establishment of those physical conditions by chance is almost zero.  And the possibility that we were born and live in the universe is also almost zero.  It means that we are now living in this rare universe is almost a dream.  Our consciousness or self-recognition of our own existence must be a fantasy rather than reality.

So, those unbelievers of God should admit that there was a great designer of this universe at the beginning of the vacuum energy phase.

Somebody, almost 14 billion years ago, must have designed the vacuum energy so that it can develop to the universe and the nature we see around us today.

Therefore, the last issue for the mankind is to know who he was that designed this universe.  Though the answer is God, we have to prove it and we have to know how God designed it, so that we may have more confidence in God.

So, 1000 years later, the mankind may prove that this universe was created by God and how God created it.  And that is the last phase of development of the science of the mankind.

However, without modern science, those who believed in God were saved and allowed to enter Heaven.  We don't have to put the highest priority on the development of science.

Nonetheless, it is a mystery to solve why God created this universe for the mankind.

Conscience is More Important than any Religion

One of the most profound teaching of Christ Jesus is to take up one's own cross and follow Him.

It is summarized by Christianity that teaches that everyone is a sinner.

How many times would a typical man tell lies in his life?  How many times would a typical man hurt others on purpose with or without justification?  How many times would a typical man neglect victims?  How many times would a typical man betray others for his profit?  How many times would a typical man refuse to support justice for his feeling or pride?  How many times would an ordinary man silence his conscience?

But if there is somebody that is poorer than you, you are a sinner.  If there is somebody that is unhappier than you, you are a sinner.  Only the poorest and unhappiest man is free from sin.  But there is no such a living man, since the poorest and unhappiest should die soon.  Every living man has his own cross.

In this world, everyone is taught that he or she has a right to be rich and happy.  But Christ Jesus never said that everyone has a right to be rich and happy.  To be rich and happy means to love oneself more than anybody.  But Christ Jesus said that one must love God than him or her.

So, essentially, a man has no right to be rich or happy.  Therefore, this civilization of the mankind is based on wrong teaching, belief, and principle.

Indeed, a rich and happy man has a heavy cross to carry, though he would not even carry it.  But, at the last judgment on him, he must face it.

In this context, conscience is more important than any religion.  Because religion is invented by man but conscience is created by God.  That is why there have been many non-Christians who have been saved and admitted into Heaven.

What 2.3 billion Christians of Today Mean

In these 2000 years, God sent His Son only once to the human world.  But why only once?

If God had sent His Son, say, once per century, we must have already 20 Christ Jesus'.  The world should have been more improved.  But God did not send His Son any more, though the second coming of Christ Jesus was promised.

If God had simply wanted to improve the human world, we naturally think that He should have sent His Son to the human world so many times till the mankind really followed the teaching of God.  But, He didn't.  God even did not punish people who did not believe in Christ Jesus in a clear manner, though bad guys often collapsed for themselves in their lives.

What I want to say is that if God had really wanted to correct human beings and make them have right faith in God, He must have sent Christ Jesus 10 times or 100 times but not only once in these 2000 years.

Nonetheless from another perspective, God might have sent His Son so many times after the mission by Christ Jesus 2000 years ago.  Today there are 2.3 billion Christians.  But, when Christ Jesus was preaching by himself, those who became His followers seems to have been only 120.

There is no good evidence on the number of Christians in the first century. Acts neglects to mention or even estimate the rate of losses and has every reason to exaggerate the scale of Christianity's success, yet still only claims the Church began with about 120 members after the death of Jesus (Acts 1:15), while the largest actual number on record for the size of the Church in Palestine is 5,000 total members (Acts 4:4). All subsequent growth is described only in vague terms, and Acts loses complete track of the matter once even those few Palestinian Christians "scattered" and eventually fled (Acts 8:1, 11:19).

So, today there are Christians whose number is 20 million times the number of Christians Christ Jesus made convert during his three year mission in the first century.  This can be interpreted as  God has sent Christ Jesus 20 million times to this world.

However, as God is spirit and Christ Jesus is spirit, this 20 million times of Christ Jesus missions must have been performed spiritually rather than physically.

Anyway, those who personally and rather secretly encountered the spirit of Christ Jesus to become His followers in these 2000 years have not written down their spiritual experiences.  Those episodes must have not been publicly reported except some notable cases.  And it might mean that God has sent Christ Jesus 20 million times to this world, according to the above calculation.

Yet, in this early 21st century, God must send Christ Jesus to this world more physically like the first emergence of 2000 years ago.  And God seems to have already done it around 2010.

Glass is transparent, which means it allows light to pass it.

There are two reasons why glass is transparent.  First glass has an amorphous body, which means that glass does not consist of crystallization.  However metals, stones, and most types of material include  crystalline bodies.  Most of substances consist of two or more crystalline bodies.  Incoming light is scattered at borders between two crystalline parts in such a substance.  On the other hand, glass does not contain crystalline bodies like liquid.

(Diamond and quartz are made of single crystalline body, so that they can be transparent.)

Second, glass consists of silicon dioxides that do not absorb visible light rays.  Incoming light to metal, a stone, or an ordinary substance surly hits an electron of an atom included in such a substance.  Energy of the electron is increased when light hits the electron.  But in most cases, the electron soon decreases its energy by discharging light whose wavelength is pre-determined and different than that of the incoming light.  This discharged light is observed as reflected light to human eyes.  If electrons of a substance energized by incoming light discharge only green light, it looks green to our eyes no matter if it is exposed to natural light.

So, in most cases, a substance cannot be transparent.  But electrons of atoms composing a silicon dioxide molecule energized by incoming visible light discharge light with the same wavelength as that of the incoming visible light. If light hits an electron of a silicon dioxide molecule, the electron increases its energy but it soon discharges the light with the same wavelength to return to the original energy level, which means that virtually silicon dioxides composing glass do not absorb or retain incoming light.  But, visible light is passed from one electron to another till it gets through the glass, though the propagation velocity of light through glass becomes slower.

In this way glass consisting of silicon dioxides is transparent, since it does not include crystalline parts, like liquid, and electrons included in atoms of its constituent silicon dioxides do not absorb and retain energy of visible light but relay it from one electron to another.

If a man has ability to see though minds of others, his ability must be like glass.  Or, if a man has a mind like glass, he must be able to see truth of others.

Little children have a mind that is not crystallized yet and that does not include desire that obstacle straight propagation of truth.  So, they can be taught well by God or angels.

Anyway, it is a miracle that some substances or some molecules and atoms in this world can be transparent to visible light.  It must be extremely difficult to design silicon dioxides, diamond, and other molecules to become transparent at the beginning of the universe.

And, of course, if wave lengths of visible light for living things on the earth are different from the current ones, glass must look opaque even to the our eyes.

This is how minds of little children are different from grown-ups.  And that is why Christ Jesus said that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the Kingdom of God where truth is transparent.

The concentration of oxygen in the air is about 21%.

But if it is reduced to 18%, some person may have a headache.  If it is reduced to 12%, most person feel faint and nauseous.  If the concentration of oxygen in the air is decreased to 10%, people will lose consciousness.  At 8%, people will die in 6 to 8 minutes.  At 6%, people will die in 6 minutes.

But if concentration of oxygen in the air is higher or 60% or more, oxygen will damage the human body.  So, in the medical care, oxygen at 50% concentration is provided for a patient who needs more oxygen only for 48 hours; 100% concentration oxygen only for 6 hours.

If the concentration of oxygen in the air is 35% or more, forests would break into spontaneous flames.

When living things invaded into the land from the sea 4.2 billion years ago, the oxygen concentration in the air was 10 to 14%.  In Carboniferous period 300 million years ago when fern was prevailing, it was 30 to 35%.  In 190 million years ago when dinosaurs got dominant, it was 15 to 22%.  Today, we live in the air with 21% Oxygen concentration.

However, it is unknown why it is now 21%.  And though it seems that the oxygen concentration in the air on the earth has been between 13% to 35% throughout the history of the earth, the reason why the oxygen level has been kept in  the range is unknown.

So, if any other planets in the universe have physical conditions suitable for emergence of living things and evolution of life to higher forms of life, there is no assurance that they can have suitable concentration of oxygen for man-like living things.

So, by chance, the oxygen concentration in the air on the earth has been suitable for evolution of living things to the human species.

This is another miracle that tells intervention of God to the nature on the earth for the purpose of creation of the mankind.

It is a miracle, since we cannot scientifically explain why the oxygen concentration today is about 21%, so suitable for human beings.

If there is really Heaven and the hell, how does this world look from Heaven or the hell?

To understand Christ Jesus, we have to assume that there is God who created this universe and who is in Heaven.  And God created the human beings and loves them.  In addition, God wants human beings to love Him.  It means that God wants human beings to be good to others or love lives of others.

As human beings came to make wars and  enslave and exploit the defeated without love to them, God decided to correct the behaviors of the mankind by sending His Son to the human world 2000 years ago.  Indeed, Romans occupied large areas around the Mediterranean with advanced military and social systems at the time.  And the major industry of Romans that was the main resource of their wealth was military campaigns.  Bloody and cruel rule was ever growing.  It had to be changed for the future of mankind.  So, God sent His Son to Palestine under rule of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago.

If we accept this scenario, we can understand Christ Jesus.  But if we don't admit that there is God who created this universe and who sent His Son Christ Jesus to the human world to save the mankind from the bloody and cruel situation, we can't understand Christ Jesus.

If we don't believe in God, Christ Jesus was just a failed person of religion.  Though He preached something interesting and performed a kind of miracles, He was captured and executed by His enemies and Roman soldiers like a helpless man.  Christ Jesus was just a strange religious figure, and there is no need for us to understand him.   Christianity happened to be established based on unique teachings and ideologies, but it was a simple success story of a religious body.  There is no God, and Christ Jesus could not be or did not have to be the Son of God.  This is how we would think about Christ Jesus if we don't believe in God.

But, again, if believe in God, we can better understand Christ Jesus.

But still we cannot understand God.  However, if we don't believe in existence of God, we will not try to understand God.  Yet, even if believe in God, we cannot easily understand Him.

So, the degree of our understanding of God might tell how much we are advanced intellectually and spiritually.

In this context, the modern human civilization has not contributed much to our true advancement.

What is seen is made of what cannot be seen as the Bible tells.

Even every material thing around us is made of only protons, neutrons, and electrons.  Every plant, animal, mineral, gas, and industrial product is made of only protons, neutrons, and electrons in addition to the effect of light.　　And we cannot see protons, neutrons, and electrons, because their diameter is less than 1/10^15 meters (0.00000000000001 meters).

Actually what we can see around us in our daily lives consists of only four elements:  protons, neutrons, electrons, and light.  Every tree, grass, stone, chemical product, metal product, plastic product, piece of clothes and devices are made of only four elements.  All the smart phones, TV sets, cars, roads, buildings, jet planes, the moon, the sun, stars, etc. are made of these four elements.

Then our mind work might consists of only several elements: love, hate, pride, and the sense of superiority.

No matter how complex a man looks, what makes his feeling, motives, and will might consist of only several elements such as love, hate, pride, and the sense of superiority.  Especially love can be divided into love to God or love to oneself that leads to selfish desire.

It is well known that any crimes can be categorized into those caused by desire for money, hate for others, lust of the flesh, and love of possession.

Put simply, ultimately a man seems to be motivated by love to God or hate for God.  And, every incident in the human world might be caused by these ultimate factors.

However, we cannot simply see these elements on the faces of others, since people can hide their minds, pretend, and deceive others.

Anyway, remarkably simple and few elements compose this complicated world inside and outside the human minds.

Shakespeare and Betrayal

According to the Gospels, Christ Jesus was betrayed by one of His disciples: Judas Iscariot.  This story gave a great impact on people of later generations.  One of them was Shakespeare.

A man like Christ Jesus could be even betrayed by one of his followers.  Then any hero could be also betrayed by one of his followers or any inferior figure around him.

If such a situation was viewed from a psychological point of view, it could be a really appealing story.  Shakespeare applied the psychological aspect of the relationship between Christ Jesus and Judas to his dramas, though Christ Jesus was not so emotional as leading figures in Shakespeare's dramas.

Betrayal is one of the key issues for Shakespeare's dramas.  And, Shakespeare must have learnt the fact that any great man such as Christ Jesus could face betrayal by somebody close to Him.  And, it could be a theme for a really appealing drama.

However, it is unknown how much Shakespeare suffered this human tragedy in his real life.  Or it is unknown who Shakespeare betrayed.

Anyway dramas Shakespeare wrote which do not include a scenario of betrayal do not look so successful.

However, the Gospels might be interpreted as a warning to believers that they cannot get rid of betrayal in their lives as Christ Jesus had to face the betrayal by Judas.   Therefore, we have to be always awakened.

Shakespeare was a cautious man, so that he did not write documents other than plays.  Writing was his resource of wealth.  If he had written carelessly any other documents than his plays, somebody might have abused them to cause damage to his reputation.  He did not leave much written evidence about what a man he was, which constituted the mystery about him.

Christ Jesus did not write letters, either.  He might have been afraid that such documentation would have been abused, since possible betrayers were everywhere.

From What Motive Running for Presidential Election?

One of the most significant expressions in the Bible is an "evil motive."

It means there are two types of motives when we do something: evil motives and holy motives.  If we can act always from holy motives, we must not be blamed by God.  But do we always think about whether what we are going to do is based on an evil motive or a holy motive?

We usually do something, because it is necessary or we simply want to do it to satisfy ourselves.  We don't think about whether we are doing something from an evil motive or a holy motive.  Rather, we know at least that we are doing something not from a holy motive.  And, we think it is natural.

But Christ Jesus said that He was doing what His Father in Heaven wanted Him to do.  And, Christ Jesus must have been doing only what His Father in Heaven wanted Him to do.  In this context Christ Jesus was only one who was doing anything from holy motivation.

For us to be blamed for doing something from an evil motive means that we are inherently given ability to discern good from evil.  Therefore, we are requested to act from a good motive.  This ability cannot be generated from our existence in the nature.  It must come from Heaven through our social lives.

Essentially acts based on love to others are not from evil motives.  Acts to make oneself happy by sacrificing or neglecting others are from evil motives.

But acts based on love to God are from holy motives.  But most people do not know what it is to love God.  However, the first step toward loving God is to appreciate God for He allowed us to be born or have life.  It means to admit that God created this universe and the world as well as human beings and human souls.  It means that God is the Creator.

When we vote for, for example, US Presidential candidates, we have to think whether the candidates are running for presidency from an evil motive or a good motive.  If a candidate is driving his or her presidential campaign mostly for his/her happiness or desire, his/her election efforts are based on an evil motive.

But can we find any candidates who are running for election to make Americans and global citizens or especially poor Americans and poor global citizens happy?

God Created the Universe on Purpose

Everything we can actually observe and handle in this world was created from hydrogen or through nuclear fusion starting from hydrogen nuclei.

From the beginning the sun is made of hydrogen.  In the sun, through processes of nuclear fusion many atomic elements from helium to iron are being created.  And, when the sun undergoes supernova explosion, heavier atomic elements than iron, such as gold and uranium, are created.

The earth is made of those atomic elements created by a sun that was one-generation older than the current sun.  So, the earth has gold, uranium, and other heavy atomic elements.

But, the sun that was one-generation older than the current sun had been also made of only hydrogen.　Though a hydrogen atom consists of one proton and one electron, hydrogen atoms in the sun consist of only proton as electrons are separated due to very high temperature.

Anyway, fixed stars, including our sun, consist of hydrogen only.  And, every type of atomic elements is created from hydrogen through nuclear fusion in fixed stars or supernova explosion of  fixed stars.

So, every type of material on the earth, such as silver, gold, and uranium, was made of hydrogen.  In addition, on the earth, water is made of oxygen and hydrogen.  There are many types of molecules that include hydrogen.　

So, no matter how complicated and diversified the material world around us looks, every material is essentially made of hydrogen.  And, a hydrogen atom consists of one proton and one electron.  This is the fundamental element of our material world.

But we are surrounded by a great amount of chemicals and a myriad of living things.  Hydrogen can turn to such a huge number of types of chemicals and living things.  It is a miracle.  Every physical property and feature of a proton and an electron is pre-determined so as to allow for building of a huge number of types of chemicals and living things.  If we use millions of supercomputers, we cannot design a proton and an electron for the effect.  It must have been designed by God.

You may deny existence of God and think that this universe happened to be created with such a miracle proton and electron.  Yes, in an infinite number of trials of crating a universe, our universe might have been created with such a proton and an electron, all by chance.  But it does not guarantee that our souls could be born in such a very rare miracle universe.

The fact that we were born in such a very rare miracle universe means more reasonably that God created this universe for the purpose to allow human beings to be born there.

Without God, if a process of creating a universe from vacuum energy was repeated in an infinite number of times, this miracle universe with the miracle hydrogen could be created.  But this probability is almost zero.  And, the probability that our souls were born on a planet in the universe is also almost zero.  The fact that we live on the earth in this miracle universe proves that this universe and human beings, including us, were created by God on purpose.

Christ Jesus said to his disciples that they were like sheep among wolves.

Christ Jesus did not eat meat, though he might eat fish.  He did not eat beef and steak.  Does it mean meat-eating is an act of unholiness?

From the beginning, dose the nature need flesh-eating animals to suppress too much increase of grass-eating animals?　　However, according to a theory, animals are essentially flesh-eating, since they cannot take amino acid from grass.   Only special animals that keep in their digestive tracts some bacteria that produce amino acid from grass can live as grass-eating animals.

So, it seems that God created other animals in addition to plants so that men can eat them.  It might not be a sin at all for men to kill other animals to eat them.  And God might even allow flesh-eating animals to kill and eat grass-eating animals.  But there is a limit in killing other animals, of course.

For example, if white men with advanced weapons regard black men without effective weapons as living things inferior to them, the white men might enslave or kill the black men without the lash of their conscience.  If a man despises another too much to regard him as a fellow human being, he might kill the other like a flesh-eating animal killing a grass-eating animal.

So, a habit of meat-eating must be carefully observed.

God allowed human beings to kill and eat other animals.  But, through this habit, human beings developed skills of killing that could be easily directed to other human beings.

So, essentially human beings should not develop the skill and technology of killing more than that needed for killing other animals to eat them.  God must not have expected human beings to develop weapons so as to kill one another.

The world without weapons against other human beings must be a right one.
