PART II: Japanese Ladies Honorably in Sports
(Dames japonaises honorablement dans les sports)

A few days ago, a Japanese female volleyball team defeated a Chinese team in Asia Championship Games held in Thai.

It is five years since Japan's women national team last defeated China in 2002.

On this occasion, Japanese ladies may become the Asia Champion in this field for the first time in 23 years.

For your reference, in Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964, the Japanese women's national team won the Gold Medal in volleyball games.

Tonight, Japan's women soccer team is going to be matched against England. As the Japan's team defeated Brazil several days ago in Japan, they may further boost up honor of Japanese ladies in the game to be held in China tonight.
