Review and Prospect on the Internet

Review and Prospect on the Internet

(Revue et perspectives sur l'Internet)

In Japan almost 15 years ago, I just tried to write a diary into an electronic file of my personal computer (based on Japanese OS), which however in these years I never do since any computer can be invaded and abused and a computer file can be easily copied and scattered.

Subsequently when a blog service was launched on the Internet, I thought I should have pursued the business idea of providing an open diary space on the Internet.

I missed a big chance to be super-rich like Mr. Bill Gates who happens to be now in Japan, as the God wishes.

SECTION I: JAPANESE BLOGS

A US computer expert wrote in his blog:

----------
Seems Japan has a lot of bloggers out there -- "Blogs are even more popular in Japan than in the U.S. It may be that they represent an appealing outlet in a culture that discourages public self-expression. Japan produced 8.7 million blogs at the end of March, and the U.S. an estimated 12 million blogs -- making blogging far more popular in Japan, taking the countries' relative populations into account. An estimated 25 million Japanese -- more than a fifth of the population -- are believed to read blogs." -- Wall Street Journal.

But, let’s get some insight into the infrastructure:

Top 30 Countries for Broadband Internet Access

An Aug. 29 article in the Washington Post tells the story of how incredibly fast Internet access -- at very cheap prices -- is taking off in Japan, thanks to "better and more agressive government regulation." Compared to Japan, Internet access in the United States is slow and expensive -- and most of the rest of the industrialized world doesn't fair to well either by comparison.

Many Japanese are using not only PCs at home or in office but also cellular phones (called “Keitai” in Japanese) to write and read blogs while walking on the street or sitting on a seat of a train.

Japan is a country of culture strongly oriented to reading and writing while Americans are educated to be a tough speaker.

SECTION II: BLOGS IN EUROPE

There is convenient presentation on the Internet on this subject:
--------
The power of Blogs in Europe
London, Nov 10th, 2006

A representative sample of 5,000 adults aged 15+, of which 2,214 use the internet either at home, at work or elsewhere.

1 in 5 Europeans have read a blog

3% of Europeans have their own blog

A quarter of Europeans trust blogs

Once it was often said that as Europe is a class society there is no universal sense of connection between vertically divided groups of people.

Thus, the meaning and functions of democracy are different from those in Japan and America.

The Internet fits more in Japan and America where most of people believe, roughly speaking, that their President or Prime Minister belongs to the same class they belong to: the class or category consisting of ordinary citizens or those with an ordinary view on life.

SECTION III: BLOGS IN AMERICA

Americans can enjoy rich outdoor lives in a more convenient manner than in any other industrialized nations due to their vast and varied land.

Maybe it is a sound environment to give a reasonable position to the Internet and blogs which look like a kind of phantoms in restricted space from a certain point of view.

But, it is also a powerful and effective tool not only for self-expression or presentation but also for business in America.

--------
According to the Nielsen/NetRatings, about 70 percent of Americans use the Internet in 2007, up from only 44 percent in 2000. The number is growing -- albeit at a slowing pace -- as web access becomes ubiquitous to the point of unavoidable…

Launched in 1998, Google became the unmatched leader of search by 2001 (and it remains so -- in May 2007, Nielsen/NetRatings reported that 56 percent of web searches are conducted through Google) and, in perhaps the ultimate brand accomplishment, has become a commonly used verb in the English language…

When the Internet first became widely known in the mid-1990s, pundits predicted that its biggest successes would come from content, or web-based news and information sources. What took some time to figure out, and what is still being debated today, is how companies and web sites are supposed to make money on content that is largely available for free…

As a group, Americans spent $114 billion online in 2006, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Both web-specific retailers as well as established traditional brands have seen their share of success and failure as Americans become more accustomed to doing their shopping online…

With at least 24 million blogs in America, every possible subject is likely to be covered, including rhapsodic tributes to favored brands. Public relations firms are seeing these blogs as an immediate window into customer feedback and the opinions of a brand's largest fans provide an unprecedented glimpse into consumer preference.

Significant part of American business activities and economy as a whole are now supported by the Internet.

Even the NYSE index level of 12,000 dollars is supported by the Internet in a sense.

The use of the Internet, home pages, and blogs only for personal use cannot boost the level of diffusion and utilization of this tool.

Their contribution to making money and profits in companies is one of important key aspects of their prevalence in America.

SECTION IV: PROSPECTS

For Japan, its blog culture can be a key to its future prosperity, since it may lead to the establishment and launching of Japanese high quality products in the software sphere.

Japanese hardware products conquered the world market in 1980’s and 1990’s.

Now, Japan needs software products, more powerful than animation or “Manga,” to further deploy its share in the global market, including the entertainment industry where US films are rampaging.

The blog culture can be a seed for that.

For Europe, its blog culture should find a way to a large-scale expansion so as to connect people divided by class and culture.

Then, more through democracy will prevail, so that European people will be free from monopoly of economy by super-rich people linked with the European upper class or noble class.

For America, the Internet and blogs must be more extensively used in fields outside business and personal entertainment. They have really contributed to the rise of Mr. Barack Hussein Obama.

They can pave the way for the launching of the Third Major Political Party in the U.S.

They can turn the poor people to an American Religious Revolution.

But, as experts in this field have already realized, the Internet and blogs can be a terrible weapon to destroy any individuals, companies, public agencies, or even the governments, since specific organizations are really using them strategically, including on one hand the Chinese Communist Party, the Japanese Communist Party, etc. and on other hand Rothschild-associated companies, Rockefeller-associated companies, etc.

You need experts of bona-fide intentions.

They can be true heroes in Japan, Europe, America, and the world.

***********************************************************

Anonymity is not a serious issue; but a kind of hidden connection with a specific political party is a grave issue, since such a blogger is pretending to be politically neutral and independent in order to get more audience but secretly guide them to a certain political direction and movement.

For you to take an enough precaution, a blogger trying to look like a neutral, sound, and uncommitted citizen can be a wolf in sheep’s clothing in business, politics, religion, organized crime, or terror.

But, my pictures must be telling that I am not a wolf in sheep’s clothing, mustn't they?

(Now you know that EEE Reporter has nothing to do with any political parties and religious organizations, including a Communist Party and a Christian or Buddhist body.

My intention is using the Internet to make the world better in the meaning of the Gospel but not of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Marxism, or Worship of Money.

Now you got almost all the necessary information on EEE Reporter in terms of the Internet and blogs.

All you have to do is now pray to the God so as to avoid any accidental tragedy EEE Reporter cannot do anything with.)

Mar 5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

Mar 5:9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

Mar 5:10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

Mar 5:11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

Mar 5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

Mar 5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
