"Grace in the Eyes of the LORD"

"Grace in the Eyes of the LORD"

(A Book on Sumerian Myths and Disabled People)

A couple of days ago, I was guided by an Angel to go up floors of a department store, arriving at a book store on the eighth floor.

There were tens of hundreds of interesting books and magazines on display and sale (almost all of them are in Japanese). I really wanted to buy some scientific books, classic books, or nonfiction books on economy and politics.

But, I purchased one on ancient Sumerian myths.

All the scholars and professionals in addition to Vatican elites and Judaist leaders are all against my theory: ancient Israelites were remote but direct descendants of Sumerians who disappeared from history 4000 years ago, while Abraham, his father, and his families left Ur, the capital of Sumerians, 4000 years ago to Palestine.

I juts cannot believe this illogical denial of theirs.

So, I will make it clearer: Before the great fall of the Roman Empire 1500 years ago, there was the great fall of the Sumerian Kingdom 4000 years ago, leading to an idea of the third great fall of an empire, that can be the U.S. of today, and the third escape of Judaists from the falling empire.

1. There were two types of Sumerians who established the first urban civilization based on use of letters: urban Sumerians who could read and write and create various cultural works and farming or pasturing Sumerians who could not read and write.

The family of Abraham belonged to the latter, living around the big city Ur as peripheral residents.

2. Nomadic herdsmen who were never influenced by high-level culture never set a destination hundred miles away where they planned to move and settle down to build their own religious kingdom with a city and a temple at its center.

(The choice of Palestine, between Egypt, Asia Minor, and Mesopotamia, is not an act by unsophisticated nomads.)

Ancient Judaists or the tribe of Abrahan was sophisticated enough to carry their memory of the journey from Ur to Palestine. They were apparently from a fringe of a great civilization.

3. Every city in Mesopotamia under the Sumerian Civilization had its own guardian deity. Every family had its own guardian deity. And, Abraham must have his own God but not gods who protected him.

When the Sumerian Civilization collapsed, Sumerian cities collapsed, and other Sumerian tribes collapsed, the God of Abraham was left inside him as the only Sumerian God who remained.

And, the Abraham's God, once one of Sumerian gods, turned out to be the true and only God of mankind.

Everybody has been wondering where the Sumerians had gone when Ur and other cities collapsed 4000 years ago. Every scholar has concluded that all the Sumerians got mingled with ancestors of Arabs.

But, 4000 years ago, one family of the Sumerians left Ur following an Angel or an instruction of their God without getting mingled with ancestors of Arabs, probably because the God wanted to secure one pure Sumerian family though they were a fringe family of the Great Mesopotamia Civilization.

It is impossible not to think that the family of Abraham was from Sumerians though they were called later Hebrews.

(When Abraham was called Abram he was a Sumerian; but when he called himself Abraham, he became Hebrew.)

One of interesting aspect in literary works of ancient Sumerians is its benevolent care about disabled people.

They thought that as gods got drunken while creating human beings, disabled persons were created. Yet, a leading god of Sumerians provided a profession to each type of disabled people, so that they could live on it.

Even a king of Sumerians constituted a law 4100 years ago, saying, "I will not deliver orphan children to the rich; I will not hand over widows to the strong."

In this context, the ancient Sumerian Civilization can be regarded as superior to the ancient Japanese culture where disabled babies were sometimes abandoned to the nature and orphan children and widows were sometimes received no protection, at least according to the Japanese myth.

If there had been any civilization superior to the Japanese spiritual culture, it is the ancient Sumerian Civilization, in my humble view.

Anyway, if you study the Sumerian myths, you would be truly amazed at that before Abraham left Ur or Mesopotamia and far before the compilation of the Old Testament, there had been such myths with abundant contents.

If my theory should be confirmed, the Sumerian myths would be interpreted as the "Ancient Testament," inevitably resulting in a total reconstruction of the three great religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

I really hope so, since Noah was a Sumerian revered by Judaists, Christians, and Muslims alike.

(Once Japanese people sang, "My girl is blackish but a beauty in the Southern Pacific," since the Empire of Japan occupied the Ocean. La peau blanchâtre couvert sept failles. But, love and faith do not need color, dear.

[Yet, it is true that there was no such a thing in Japan traditionally as a blackish beauty of girls, for probably ancestors of the ancient imperial family or noble class had come over to the Japanese islands through the Korean Peninsula or southern Manchuria but not from the East China Sea or far from the South China Sea ...]

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
