"A Servant of Servants "

(A Tokyo Bay Story..."against insurgents there?")

When you read the Bible, you would figure that Jesus Christ and His followers did not keep a dog or a cat while travelling and preaching 2000 years ago.

Jesus Christ just used a donkey as a means to enter Jerusalem. He does not seem to have communicated with any animals or living things except a poor fig tree.

Indeed, a man is more important than a dog or a cat, or any other living things on the earth.

Yet, a man is also a living thing but not a machine. Some billion years ago, there were no distinctions between direct ancestors of mankind and those of, say, a bug.

And, finally, in Heaven, angels might be arguing that living people have their own souls. There were no distinction between the souls of those who have eventually entered Heaven and the souls of those who have eventually fallen to the hell, when they were born each as a member of mankind.

A dog or a cat is closer to mankind than a bug is. But, a poor man looks like being closer to an angel than a rich man is.

SECTION I: Afghanistan

There is still an enigma as to why Mr. Osama bin Laden started to hate America.

It is so, since it is clear that the Taliban had not hated America at least before September 11, 2001.

There is still an enigma as to why Saudi Arabia has not declared jihad against Mr. Osama bin Laden and AlQaeda and all the Muslims in the world have not followed suit.

It is so, since it is clear that all the Christians and other non-Islamic people in the world have come to lose respect, to whatever degree, for Muslims at large.

Or do you know any Christian who says that he or she has come to respect Muslims at large all the more because of Mr. Osama bin Laden and AlQaeda?

Though no Christians have ever clearly said, it is apparent that Mr. Osama bin Laden and AlQaeda have served as a test of the fate of Islam itself in the history.

Nonetheless, Afghanistan is serving as a test of the fate of America itself in the history, in my humble view.

SECTION II: Three Sons of Noah

It is one of very controversial stories in the Old Testament that Noah got angry with one of his sons.

Some argue that the mother of Ham is a key; others say that Ham took the garment of Noah so as to act as a priest in a temple.

Or it might explain why later the Israelite conquest of Canaan happened.

------------
In the Hebrew Bible, the "Land of Canaan" extends from Lebanon southward across Gaza to the "Brook of Egypt" and eastward to the Jordan River Valley, thus including modern Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

------------

Though Jesus Christ never referred to this episode of Noah and his sons, any mysterious description in the Bible must be reviewed to find any clues to solution of the Palestine conflict.

Anyway, when you have three men, one of them would surely do something you cannot foresee beforehand, even if you were a God-blessed Noah.

Muslims who want to solve the Palestine conflict of today had better study this legend.
