"Send Men to Joppa, and Call for Simon"

(Tokyo, Japan's Administrative Capital for 400 Years)

NO MORE BASES; NO MORE RELIGIOUS SUICIDE BOMBING

They say that Major Hasan was reaching out to AlQaeda as found by electronic intercepts (though this tragic incident looks like a curse of Guantanamo).

The implication of this fact is very deep, since Former President Mr. George W. Bush predicted in the wake of the 9/11 Terror that the War on Terror would take a long-long time and years ahead.

Nonetheless the War on Terror would soon end if both the parties should give up their present interpretation of their Holy Book, respectively.

Anyway, you may find more impeccable business chances in Japan than in America, since Japan has in fact never had a war since WWII, although Japan has been on the U.N. Security Force side in the Korean War being suspended for decades.

SECTION I: AMERICAN BASES IN OKINAWA

There are two huge air fields, close to each other, in the middle of residential areas and business districts of the Okinawa Island, Japan.

One, the Kadena Air Base used by the U.S. Air Force, has two 4000-meter runways.

Another, the Futenma Air Field used by the U.S. Marin Corps, has a 9000-foot runway.

There are about 1,000 U.S. Army troops; 7,000 U.S. Air Force soldiers, and 15,000 U.S. marines in addition to many U.S. naval service-men and -women in Okinawa, Japan.

It is time to close the Futenma Air Field used by the U.S. Marine Corps for so long, while this base is apparently unnecessary for defense of Japan from China, North Korea, South Korea, and Russia.

SECTION II: RELIGION AND WAR

An American scholar who married a Japanese and taught in Japan wrote some about religion and war in his Japanese Web site for educational purpose:

----------
Religion and War

A Religion Joining War
1. Union
"We" believers (good) vs. "They" non-believers (evil)

2. Justice
Fractional citation from holy books and concoction

3. Loyalty
Regarding a leader as a god.

4. Threats
"They" are threatening "our" religion.

A Religion Standing against War
1. Union
Relationship with God is more important than "ourselves."

2. Justice
Resistance against war based on holy books.

3. Loyalty
Only for God

4. Threats
The gravest threat is distortion of creeds and doctrine.

----------

To tell the truth, there is only one relationship between war and religion:
As there was a war, of whatever scale and sort, a religion, of whatever scale and sort, was needed for mankind.

If those being engaged in a war talk about any religion, you might laugh if you truly understand this relationship between war and religion, though you had better not, of course nowadays.

*** *** *** ***

I do not know how John Maynard Keynes positioned war and religion in his economics theory; but there have been no major nations in the world free from war and religion while all of them are thriving materially in this beginning of the 21st century.

In my theory, you cannot be a genius in economics unless you can be an expert in war and religion.

It is so, since war and religion can completely change or do away with a value system so prevailing before.

If you ever think that economics cannot be easy, you are intellectually sound; you will not launch any personal war with some handguns or any laughable religion with nonsense books in hand.

Praise the Lord peacefully, comrades!

Act 11:12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

Act 11:13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

Act 11:14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
