"as we forgive our debtors"

(Japan's Parliament Building in 2010)

No Past but Memory, or No Memory but Past?

So, it is time to settle down.

The Japanese national soccer team is going to meet the Cameroon team in South Africa around 10:30 p.m. of the next Monday, June 14, Japan Time.

However, most of the Japanese audience have no higher expectations in this World Cup Soccer Games.

The point of interest is how coach Okada would save or recover his face, since he lost three games in the 1998 World Cup Soccer Games held in France, leading the national team without any wins.

SECTION I: WHO KAN?

When he was 30 years old without his own seat in the Japanese parliament, Mr. Naoto Kan joined as one of representative executives a newly formed party called the Socialist Citizen's Federation in 1977.

The Federation was established by veteran socialist ex-lawmaker Saburo Eda who tried to be reelected running from the new Federation though he died suddenly at the age of 69. Then his son who was a judge, Mr. Satsuki Eda ran as successor to be successfully elected.

It is three years later, namely in 1980, that Mr. Naoto Kan was first elected as Lower-House member of the Japanese Diet.

(It is also interesting to confirm that Mr. Shizuka Kamei, who quit a minister of the Kan Cabinet early today, had had a year career in the National Diet in 1980 as Liberal Democratic Party member.)

Today, Mr. Satsuki Eda and Mr. Naoto Kan both belong to the Democratic Party of Japan. Remarkably, Mr. Satsuki Eda is the Japan's Upper House President; and Mr. Naoto Kan is the Premier of Japan, 33 years later since Mr. Eda's father formed a new party with almost 40-years younger partner Mr. Kan in 1977.

(It is also interesting to confirm that Mr. Ichiro Ozawa had already had an eight-year career in the National Diet in 1977 as Liberal Democratic Party member.)

Anyway, it is the deceased father of the President of the House of Councilors that helped and influenced Mr. Naoto Kan when he was around 30 years old. Or, it is then-notable right-wing socialist Saburo Eda, the father of present Chairman of the Upper House Mr. Satsuki Eda, that helped and influenced P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan when he was around 30 years old.

In 1962, Saburo Eda launched his vision about the future of Japan to be guided by the Socialist Party where he belonged then as an executive. It read:

- Higher living standard as seen in America

- Exhaustive life security as seen in the Soviet Union

- Parliamentary democracy as seen in the U.K.

- Pacifism as provided in the Japanese Constitution

I think this is the best P.M. Mr. Naoto Kan can reach in his thinking.

I think Mr. Kan would however give a higher priority to his ambition for being a prime minister and keeping the position as long as possible.

Anyway, the President of the House of Councilors of the Japanese National Diet Mr. Satsuki Eda, if not Mr. Kamei or Mr. Ozawa, might be the one to be asked about "Who is Mr. Naoto Kan, new primeminister of Japan?"

SECTION II: The Korean War

During WWII, it is said that three million Japanese people died, accounting for 4% of the total population of the Empire.

During the Korean War between 1950 and 1953, it is said that four million North and South Koreans died, accounting for 20% of all the Koreans.

The war began with China's promise to support North Korea with military aid and USSR's consent to the plan of war made by North Korea.

The war was also a challenge to Douglas MacArthur himself and his understanding of Japan and the Far East in addition to the U.S.S.R.

Strategy against Japan in world war II

Senator HICKENLOOPER. Question No.5: Isn't your proposal for sea and air blockade of Red China the same strategy by which Americans achieved victory over the Japanese in the Pacific?

General MACARTHUR. Yes, sir. In the Pacific we bypassed them. We closed in. You must understand that Japan had an enormous population of nearly 80 million people, crowded into 4 islands. It was about half a farm population. The other half was engaged in industry. Potentially the labor pool in Japan, both in quantity and quality, is as good as anything that I have ever known. Some place down the line they have discovered what you might call the dignity of labor, that men are happier when they are working and constructing than when they are idling. This enormous capacity for work meant that they had to have something to work on. They built the factories, they had the labor, but they didn't have the basic materials. There is practically nothing indigenous to Japan except the silkworm.

They lack cotton, they lack wool, they lack petroleum products, they lack tin, they lack rubber, they lack a great many other things, all which was in the Asiatic basin.

They feared that if those supplies were cut off, there would be 10 to 12 million people unoccupied in Japan. Their purpose, therefore, in going to war was largely dictated by security.

To address North Korea, you have to address China still today like the era of Douglas MacArthur.

In this regard, a relationship with China includes an aspect of war, no matter how many cars GM and Toyota sell in mainland China.

Jesus Christ had power.

Basically, the human body is controlled by internal nerve systems which are intentionally or unconsciously controlled by the mind through functions of the brain.

However, as the power of Jesus Christ was so strong, it worked beyond the boundary of his body when exercised from the brain.

So, study on interactive force is important.

Anyway, Jesus Christ had power that could reach over 2000 years the mind of a believer, telling him what to do.

A religion is a generic term referring to what such a person has intended to realize with his power.

By the way, I present here a low of conservation of power: the sum of money power and spiritual power a man has is constant.

But, all the gold and the silver in this world belong to the God, as He declared so.

It is what a man cannot do.

Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
