They only read what Chinese write in English.

They only listen to Chinese speaking in English.

They then see a map of the Far East to see the Senkaku Islands so closer to the Chinese Continent than to mainland Japan.

Eventually, The New York Times wrote virtually that they had a feeling that the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea belong to China (but not to Taiwan).

I do not request The New York Times' elites to learn Japanese to be able to read so many Japanese opinions and so much evidence made open over the Internet. But, how many Japanese employees are there in The New York Times? Japan is the authentic second largest and advanced economic power in the world. But, nobody can read and understand Japanese in The New York Times? (How many in The New York Times could read and understand Arabic before September 11, 2001?)

Now, BBC should not disappoint Japanese in the same manner.

SECTION I: East China Sea Has Oil/Gas More Than Iraq

BBC is nice to focus on Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan, with the title: "Japanese PM Naoto Kan warns of China's military rise."

But, BBC's map suggesting the location of Chinese gas drilling platforms is wrong. It is too close to Okinawa.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11450791

It must be on the middle point between the south edge of the Hangzhou Gulf (south of Shanghai) and the Okinawa Main island.

It can be confirmed even in a map prepared by China for itself.
http://www.21ccs.jp/china_watching/DirectorsWatching_YABUKI/Directors_watching_14.html

The location of China's Gas drilling facilities in the BBC's map is on the border China claims as the continental shelf extends to the location near Okinawa.

Japan claims the border between economic zones of the two countries must be on the middle points at the same distance from each territorial sea.

Remember that Japan's claim conforms to the widely practiced international standards, but China's does not.

BBC should think about merit the U.K. will enjoy if Chinese military expansion and diplomatic lawfulness prevail as far as near the Thames.

Finally, Japan's sea territories and its exclusive economic zones are as follows:

SECTION II: Japan's ODA to China

Every Chinese must understand this.

Every Chinese must be let to know this.

Research on Japan's ODA to China and It's Contribution to China's Development∗

Abstract

For a variety of reasons many Chinese people don't know much about Japan's ODA to China. However since 1979, over the past 30 years, Japan’s ODA to China has played a very important role in China's reform and open as well as in the social and economic development. From that time to the present China has altogether obtained approximately 3.4 trillion (3,400,000,000,000) Japanese Yen loans (approximately 224,800,000,000 Renminbi Yuan) as well as other types of technical cooperation assistance and grant aid etc.. Over the past 30 years Japan is the largest donor country to China, China is also the largest recipient country to Japan. Japan's official assistance to China stands for over 60% of all bilateral aid provided to China in all donor countries. Many large-scale construction projects that have been built or being built from Japan's Yen loans or grant aid can be found in China's provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. There is no doubt that Japan’s ODA to China has made a great contribution for China's social and economic development as well as people’s living level improvement. The paper will start researching the question from this point, namely what is ODA, and how about Japan ODA's history in postwar, and then studies the related background about Japan's ODA to China, it's characteristics as well as it's great achievements during the course of China’s development in economy and people's living condition improvement etc., and in the end the article draws a conclusion that Japan's ODA to China has made great contribution to China's Development.

Every Chinese in America and Chinese Americans living in the U.S. must understand this.

Every Chinese in America and Chinese Americans must be let to know this.

It is so, since the Chinese Communist Party and Government have hidden this fact from the Chinese people, though Chinese Premier Chou En-lai shook hands with Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka in Beijing in 1972.

In this meeting for normalization of the relationship between Japan and China, Chou En-lai virtually confessed that China started to claim its right on the Senkaku Islands due to crude oil fields that had been discovered a few years before. The greatest hero of the Chinese Communist Party Chou En-lai understood why the Islands belonged to Japan, since he must have learnt the history of relationships between the Empire of Japan and the Ching Dynasty who had never made an objection against a territorial declaration over the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea by the Empire of Japan.

The Ching Dynasty thought the Okinawa (Ryukyu) Kingdom was subject to the Chinese Empire for so long, so that it did not need to set a kind of borders (to station soldiers) between Ching and Okinawa. However, the Okinawa Kingdom was conquered by a samurai lord of Satsuma in Kyusyu of mainland Japan in 1609. Yet, Satsuma, who also belonged to the samurai regime in Edo (Tokyo), had Okinawa continue to bring a tribute to Ching as before, since trade with Ching was very profitable even for Satsusma.

But, when Okinawa stopped to take a gesture of submission to Ching after it was directly governed by the Imperial Government in Tokyo around 1870, Ching forgot about Okinawa and did not mind the desolate and unmanned Senakaku Islands situated between Okinawa and mainland China. The Ching Court in Beijing seems to have had an only vague idea that the Senkaku Islands were rather between Taiwan and Okinawa, so that Ching was all the more not interested in the Senkaku Islands. Ching's occupation of Taiwan was also not complete. There were many Taiwanese natives independently living, which was not a concern for the Emperor of Ching, either. From the beginning, Ching invaded Taiwan because of existence of insurgents there, not from a territorial ambition.

SECTION III: War

The Japanese Constitution forbids the Japanese Government to make war (especially in mainland China).

The Chinese Constitution requests the Chinese Government to make war, expanding its influence on the world.

But, if Japanese Self-Defence Forces are to exchange fires with invading Chinese forces within the territory of Japan, the Japanese Constitution, amended or not, would admire their courage protecting lives and assets of the Japanese people.

The Japanese Constitution implicitly requests the Chinese Government to renounce war.

Ranking of Aid to Poor Countries in 2009 (OECD):
1. United States
2. France
3. Germany
4. Britain
5. Japan

Still the world looks like the same as in 1930's with the U.S., France, Germany, the U.K., and Japan contributing to development of the world, since Russia and China have been under bad influences of communism.

Truly, compared with China and Russia (and South Korea), how civilized the U.S., France, Germany, and the U.K. look, since they do not illegally occupy Japanese peripheral islands!

In addition, in 2010, 6.3 million students graduated from universities and colleges in China. The Chinese Gvernment should take care of them in finding jobs, if not trying to help the poor overseas.
