"be clearer than the noonday"

Do not say Japan...
But say Nippon or Nihon in Japan!(Sailboat Nihon-Maru was designed in Scotland and built in Kobe, Japan, in 1930; click to enlarge.)

Wednesday of Heated Discussions
(Mercredi de vives discussions)

In ancient China, it was taught that one who has the highest moral character and personality of quality should become king.

By power of his character and personality, his subjects would be influenced and educated, so that a kingdom would stand honorably.

However, so sadly, badly, and cruely, as time went by, kings in China strated to just pretend to have the highest moral character and personality of quality by wearing high-quality of a crown and clothing ecah and hosting gorgeous ceremonies.

But, before the essence of the old holy teachings was completely lost in China, the teachings and relevant books were imported to Japan by 1400 years ago or so.

Their views on China of some Japanese are based on this notion, even today.

And they are being backed by the recent incident around the Senkaku Islands.

SECTION I: American Income Gap

-----------------
WASHINGTON, Sept. 28, 2010

Income Gap Between Rich, Poor the Widest Ever
Census Bureau Finds Record Income Equality; Richest 20% of Americans Earn Nearly Half of All Nation's Income
...The top-earning 20 percent of Americans - those making more than $100,000 each year - received 49.4 percent of all income generated in the U.S., compared with the 3.4 percent earned by those below the poverty line, according to newly released census figures. That ratio of 14.5-to-1 was an increase from 13.6 in 2008 and nearly double a low of 7.69 in 1968...

Among the 2009 findings:

• The poorest poor are at record highs. The share of Americans below half the poverty line - $10,977 for a family of four - rose from 5.7 percent in 2008 to 6.3 percent. It was the highest level since the government began tracking that group in 1975.

• The poverty gap between young and old has doubled since 2000, due partly to the strength of Social Security in helping buoy Americans 65 and over. Child poverty is now 21 percent compared with 9 percent for older Americans. In 2000, when child poverty was at 16 percent, elderly poverty stood at 10 percent.

• Safety nets are helping fill health gaps. The percentage of children covered by government-sponsored health insurance such as Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program jumped to 37 percent, or 27.6 million, from 24 percent in 2000. That helped offset steady losses in employer-sponsored insurance.

...An Associated Press-GfK Poll this month found that by 54 percent to 44 percent, most Americans support raising taxes on the highest U.S. earners. Still, many congressional Democrats have expressed wariness about provoking the 44 percent minority so close to Election Day.

SECTION II: Chinese Income Gap

-----------------
Gap Between Rich and Poor Widens in ChinaBy Li Yuanhan & Zhou Ping
New Tang Dynasty TV Created: Jan 31, 2010 Last Updated: Feb 3, 2010
...He also recognized the widening gap between urban and rural residents, and noted that China’s per capita GDP still ranks in the 100's when compared with the rest of the world.
...Yet the net worth of China's 130 billionaires is second only to that of the 359 billionaires in the U.S., according to a recent study published on huren.net, a Web site dedicated to the lifestyle of the rich in China. There are also 825,000 people with a net worth of over US$1.5 million. Moreover, China’s consumption of luxury goods is increasing—from US$8.6 billion to US$9.4 billion in the past year.

...Professor Ping Xinquiao of Peking University offered another perspective: the total income of the common people (excluding migrant workers) is less than 20 percent of the GDP, while government administrative spending is 30 percent of the GDP.
...Information published by the World Bank shows that China's Gini coefficient, which measures income allocation distribution, has reached 0.47—far exceeding the internationally recognized warning level of 0.4. A Gini coefficient of 0.5 would be indicative of a potential for social instability and chaos.

Lack of Technical Progress -- Arab Human Development Report 2002

For a culture that led the world in science and technology, Arab nations are now falling far behind the world.

The entire Arab world translated fewer foreign books than Greece…"

SECTION IV: Discussions

First of all, as a basic fact to be shared, since the 2001 9/11 Terror on WTC and the Pentagon, the U.S. was making war against Islamic terrorists around the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean while importing an ever growing number of commodities, goods, and products from China.

America has been damaging Islamic people while enriching Chinese people with a consequence of making a gap ever wider between the rich and the poor among Americans.

It is what has happened between 2000 and 2010 in the world.

Now, if you are a Christian, a Muslim, or a Marxism-compassionate Judaist, what would you suggest to poor Americans, poor Muslims, and poor Chinese to change the whole situation, since it is against the teaching of the God?

Are you going to advise Americans to attack China so as to increase trade with Islamic nations?

Anyway, if your professor does not clearly guide you directly in understanding that America, China, and Islam are the most critical three factors today for securing peace and prosperity of mankind in future, he does not sufficiently understand the significant implication in facts concerned as above shown.

Now, one answer is that America should be engaged in a crusade with American ideal cause, justice, and religion. America must discover the reason for its existence. Though America has been unable to supersede the Vatican in Europe and the Latin America, it should try it again in China and the Islamic world, though it is not expected to make Muslims convert to Christianity.

Yet, America should be engaged in a crusade with American ideal cause, justice, and religion toward China and the Islamic world.

This is one of answers to this challenge, since it does the most fit with what America has been historically. If America could save the world, its operation must be on the extension of what America is the most good at: a crusade with American cause, justice, and religion toward the outer world.

You can detail this answer or present other.

Do not run around on the Harvard level playground of intellect but climb up a ladder or two toward the Almighty God.

Finally, that crusade must be a major part of the so-called American Dream shining on the white hill surrounded by Chinese and Muslims.

Note also that this session is free, no money involved unlike a Harvard stupid session.

In Japan, there was a super female singer called Misora Hibari.

She however suffered an attack by a young woman who dashed hydrochloric acid on Hibari in a theater in Asakusa, Tokyo, in 1957.

Hibari and the perpetrator, a poor runaway maid, were then at the same age, 19.

As her aids took action promptly, Misora Hibari survived this horrible tragedy with just very minor injuries on the right face and the back. She also showed some compassion to the dangerous perpetrator at a press conference held later.

Misora Hibari died in 1994 to be remembered forever as the greatest female singer after WWII in Japan.

Nonetheless, this is the only case that a big female singer is physically assaulted in public in Japan.

Yet, if a gap between a rich 19 years-old girl and a poor 19-years old gets so wider, something terrible can happen, even if in Japan.

To make sure, this is not the first Christmas story for you...
