"if haply he might find any thing thereon" - Japan-China Diplomacy

Tokyo......so darling Tokyo
(Tokyo is the only city today with 40 million residents within its 60 to 100-km radius or 30 million residents in its Metropolitan area, including Chiba, Saitama, and Yokohama.)

President Mr. Obama said that he would rather take a question from a Korean reporter at the end of his press conference in Seoul while a Chinese reporter stood up to deliver the supposed last question.

But, no Korean reporters stood up, so that the Chinese reporter was allowed to question President Mr. Obama.

"How would you feel as your words are globally interpreted in thousand different ways, President?"

The American President did not look so happy to hear it.

Anyway, President Mr. Obama has come to Japan partly to talk with Prime Minister Mr. Naoto Kan. I hope that both the leaders would question each other based on goodwill.

"How about it: America helps Japan and Japan helps America in thousand non-nonsense fields?"

SECTION I: Basics of Japan-China Diplomacy

I suppose that nobody in The New York Times has ever read Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People's Republic of China signed on August 12, 1978.

It is truly surprising that The New York Times does not know the basic provisions critically related to the authentic world-No.2 economy Japan and the quasi-No.2 economy China.
----------------
Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People's Republic of China
August 12, 1978

Japan and the People's Republic of China,
Recalling with satisfaction that since the Government of Japan and the Government of the People's Republic of China issued a Joint Communique in Peking on September 29, 1972, the friendly relations between the two Government and the people's of the two countries have developed greatly on a new basis,
Confirming that the above-mentioned Joint Communique constitutes the basis of the relations of peace and friendship between the two countries and that the principles enunciated in the Joint Communique should be strictly observed,
Confirming that the principles of the Charter of the United Nations should be fully respected, Hoping to contribute to peace and stability in Asia and in the world, For the purpose of solidifying and developing the relations of peace and friendship between the two countries,
Have resolved to conclude a Treaty of Peace and Friendship and for that purpose have appointed as their Plenipotentiaries:

...
[Article II]
The contracting Parties declare that neither of them should seek hegemony in the Asia-Pacific region or in any other region and that each is opposed to efforts by any other country or group of countries to establish such hegemony.
...

----------------

This is the notable Non-Hegemony provision that binds Japan and China.

Yet, China has not observed this mutually-promised policy since 1980's.

The Chinese Communist Government has betrayed Japanese and Chinese citizens who wish justice, peace and prosperity over the East China Sea.

One of their acts of betrayal is their intensified groundless claim on the Senkaku Islands and accusation against the Imperial military that fought Chinese troops on mainland Chine in late 1930's and early 1940's.

The New York Times should write that China should not seek hegemony in the Asia-Pacific region or in any other region as it promised Japan in 1978.

And note that it is very extraordinary for any two nations in the world to promise each other not only not to seek hegemony between them and over other nations but also not to allow other nations to seek hegemony. But, even for this uniqueness, this treaty must have been studied intently by experts on diplomacy and security in the world for some time.

SECTION II: Japan & America to Apologize Forever?

Mr. Michael J. Sandel of Harvard made a special session at the University of Tokyo in late August 2010.

It was recorded by the NHK TV station to be rebroadcast very late last night or very early this morning.

He was manipulating Japanese elite students so easily pretending as if he were a good man.

He put forward very irresponsible questions he himself did not look like understanding well.

"Does Japan have to always apologize to Asians who suffered military invasion by Japan during WWII?" he asked to hundreds of an audience in a hall of the university.

"Does President Obama have to apologize to the Japanese people who suffered atomic bomb attacks by the U.S. military during WWII?" he asked to hundreds of an audience in a hall of the university.

Mr. Sandel did not try to provide solutions to the above two questions.

He simply presented the two controversial questions well discussed by many people over years for anti-Japanese or anti-American purposes.

Mr. Sandel did not try to present a right way to deal with this kind of historical questions. He just arouse confusion among amateur students to have them respect him only because he openly and boldly issued these questions.

Stop the cheap game, but start to think about a right way to deal with this kind of historical questions. This is my warning to Mr. Sandel.

There are two types of discussions: one based on goodwill and another on malice.

But, Mr. Sandel is engaged in promoting discussions based on anti-Christ irresponsibility. His being in Harvard means that American elites will not be able to prevent another 9/11 Terror and another Lehman Shock. Students of Harvard should read the Bible to understand what is anti-Christ.

At least, Mr.Sandel should start his session by saying, "Though my lectures is useless for preventing another 9/11 Terror and another Lehman Shock..."

So, I will give a session to Harvard students:
"Do Americans have to apologize to people in the world because America could not prevent the occurrence of the 9/11 Terror attack?"

"Does President Bush have to always apologize to people in the world because his administration could not prevent the occurrence of the Lehman Shock and the subsequent financial crisis?"

Yes, the more you are given, the more you are requested of, including apology.

Can this be good news for people in Afghanistan, Yemen, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, and so on?

Yet, it is interesting that no Chinese cities are expected to further grow rapidly but some American cities are.

Baghdad and Ho Chi Minh City have suffered a kind of American military invasion, but are going to expand economy and business toward 2030.

My advice to you is not to be proud till you have visited all the above 21 cities. Only you had better think that you have really seen the world when you take a cheeseburger in a hamburger shop in Kano, Nigeria.

Those who think that they know the world sometimes try to eat local people alive in their mother country as seen even before the era of globalization of economy.

The more one knows the world, the more he exploits local people. This paradigm must be done away with toward 2030.

So, if those 21 cities look more inviting than Rome, Paris, London, New York, and Las Vegas, you stand a good chance of finding Christ Jesus on some street.

It is said that domestic dogs, wolves, and even coyotes can interbreed among them to produces biologically viable pups which can also reproduce themselves through mating and breeding.

So, there can be a family with parents of a wolf and a dog with their pup to mate with a coyote to have a grand-pup.

It is also interesting that Coyotes only live in North America. Wolves live all over the the Northern Hemisphere. It is thought that wolves and coyotes were separated one or two million years ago.

-------
Over the 15,000 year span that the dog had been domesticated, it diverged into only a handful of landraces, groups of similar animals whose morphology and behavior have been shaped by environmental factors and functional roles.

... Data suggests that dogs first diverged from wolves in East Asia, and that these domesticated dogs then quickly migrated throughout the world, reaching the North American continent around 8000 B.C.

...If dogs were domesticated, as believed, roughly 15,000 years ago, the event (or events) would have coincided with a large expansion in human territory and the development of agriculture.

-------

The Bible or Gospels do not include stories where dogs or wolves take nice part.

So, the bottom line is that you must feel or see the inside but not an outer shape to judge any living entity.

To exterminate rabies, you have to take on dogs, wolves, and coyotes.

To preserve species, you may take only dogs, wolves, or coyotes with you into another Ark.

Mar 11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

Mar 11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Mar 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
