It is reported by a Japanese blogger that the Gaddafi regime executed unlawfully 60,000 political detainees around Tripoli.
But, bodies of only 10,000 were identified and found in some wild burial places.
Yet, it is said that the Kim Jong-Il regime of North Korea neglected starving citizens in 1990s. Those who were starved to death in North Korea in 1990s are estimated to have been three million in number. As they were so hungry, it is said, those poor North Koreans could not even rebel against their leader.
Libya is a rich country, relatively, in this context.

Now, the season to remember the 9/11 Attacks has come.
Yet. you have to remember also the 1997 Princess Diana's death in Paris to fully understand what induced the 9/11 Attacks on Washington DC and New York.
There are many people in the world whose nations were once colonized by the U.K. For example, from the U.S. to Singapore and Myanmar to India, the Britons were once their colonial master.
But, Japan is not. The U.K. has never colonized Japan. Japan has no colonial masters. From ancient days, Koreans, Chinese, Mongols, Europeans, and Americans have never colonized Japan. Text books of history used in the world must clearly state this fact. Indeed, it is deplorable that Asians, Africans, and Latin Americans do not know that Japan has never been colonized by Western powers. That is why Japan has duty to handle the U.K. fairly to correct Britons.

As they were so rotten in terms of justice and religion, Osama bin Laden could proudly and easily find a reason to intensify his activities and get his followers to be assigned to suicide attacks. And his second in command, an Egyptian, might have been more convinced that his war against Christians was right since some British upper-class members seemed to have killed Princess Diana with her Egyptian boyfriend in Paris in 1997.
Indeed, in early 1998, Osama bin Laden accepted an interview by an American media company. It is as if he had got some idea from Princess Diana's case of 1997...

It should be also noted that John F. Kennedy, Jr. and his wife were killed when their private plane crashed off the coast of Martha's Vineyard in July 1999.
The two tragic incidents must have however impressed Osama bin Laden as nature of the British/American civilization: conspiracies everywhere. He must have lost respect for the U.K. and the U.S. It must have given Osama bin Laden a sense of superiority since he thought that he was a pious Muslim. At least psychologically, the two tragic incidents involving Princess Diana and JFK Jr. must have led Osama bin Laden to taking a bolder plan in his war against the U.S. and the U.K. So, the 9/11 attack plan must have been welcomed by him.

Once when Japan was directly governed by the imperial court, some emperors of Japan respected Buddhism so much.
So, they decided to build a national Buddhist temple (called Kokubuji) in each state within the empire. At the time, namely in the 8th century, Tokyo belonged to a state called Musashi. And, the Musashi Kokubuji (national temple) was built in today's Kokubuji City of Tokyo Prefecture. The temple had a seven-story pagoda in addition to other sacred buildings.
Yet, today, there are no original buildings at the site, though some temples take the place which were built during a samurai era of Japan.
