"This kind can come forth by nothing" - 2001, 2008, 2020, 2060, and the 22nd Century

Tokyo

2001, 2008, 2020, 2060, and the 22nd Century

This is the third time that the United States is on alert socially as a whole in the 21st century.  The first was the Islamic terror in 2001, and the second was the subprime loan-triggered financial crisis in 2008.  Finally the U.S. is facing the corona-virus pandemic in 2020.

However, the underlying causes are not addressed completely.  Islamic terrorists have bee active in the Middle East, Africa, etc.; Wall Street companies have been pursuing their profit based on worship of money; and China has no intension to respect democracy and freedom while generating corona-viruses.

They symbolize the major factors threatening the world in the 21st century: religious conflicts generating fanatical believers, devastating greed linked with capitalism, and fight for leadership among major countries (especially between Western countries and the block of China and Russia).

The disillusion to the war on terror and the caution to Wall Street companies allowed for realization of the first black President in the U.S.  Then, reaction occurred in the American society with the emergence of Trump, a dubious billionaire real estate agent and TV personality with racial bias in entertainment programs who claims he has achieved the American Dream.  And, finally, corona-viruses were generated in China starting to openly pursue hegemony in the world to spread in the world and kill a million people in the whole world and 200,000 Americans.

Put simply, in the 21st century, the U.S. must address the challenge from Islamic extremists whose backgrounds include the gap between rich Christian and Jewish world and the poor Islamic world, the gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. and other Western countries under capitalism, which can cause devastating financial catastrophe, and anti-democratic counties such as China that can even generate a virus-caused pandemic.

These challenges cannot be addressed by simply electing a black President such as Obama.  And, it must be impossible to fully settle them by electing Biden supported by liberals as president.

In 2001 and 2008, 200,000 Americans were not killed and a million global citizens were not killed.  But, this 2020 corona-virus pandemic is expected to kill a half million Americans and globally 3 million people till it will be subdued probably in the middle of 2021.  This pandemic must eventually trigger WWIII like the 2018 Spanish Flu became a prelude to Great Depression, the rise of Hitler, and WWII.

Since it looks impossible that the mankind can completely suppress and eliminate the possibility of emergence of viruses 10 times or more harmful than the present ones in the future, it can be estimated that the mankind face the collapse of their civilization, the danger of their extinction, or the end of the world in WWIII caused through conflicts among the Christian and Jewish countries, non-democratic China and Russia, and anti-Jewish Islamic countries in great global financial debacles and more fatal pandemics in the 21st century as Isaac Newton predicted that the end of the world might start around 2060.

Indeed, this 2020 corona-pandemic seems to be a prelude to the more critical crisis, such as WWIII, that will happen in this century.  How will historians in the 22nd century describe the history of the 21st century even if they exist?

For example, they may write: the Son of the God appeared 2000 years after Abraham, and the mankind faced the end of the world 2000 years after they had executed the Son of the God, even if any historians, who might be robots, should exist in the 22nd century.

Mark 9    King James Version
28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.
31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
