"A Sign unto You"

"A Sign unto You"

On this Thursday morning, I found three jet planes flying high in the winter sky with a white, long, and shining contrail, respectively: two intersecting a vista toward Mt. Fuji and one just high above. Indeed, a conductor rod can be sometimes a nice measure.

SECTION I: JAPANESE OBAMAS This Week

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)
The Japanese space exploration institute has proved that the moon is closer to the perfect circle than the earth is.

US Science magazine also presents the latest result from JAXA's survey on the moon, using its space craft SELENE flying around the moon now (until this summer).
http://www.sciencemag.org/

Specifically SELENE observed the moon and reported the strictest data ever obtained, since it measured 6.77 million points on the surface of the moon while NASA had done measurement against only 0.27 million points.

Polar radius of the moon:
......1735.66km (1078.7 miles)
Equatorial radius of the moon:
......1738.64km (1080.6 miles)
Flattening of the moon:
(1738.64 - 1735.66)/ 1738.64 = 0.0017

As the flattening of the earth is 0.0034, the moon is twice closer to a perfect circle than the earth is.

This is significant, sine mankind has been watching an almost perfect circle every night in the sky for millions of years, which must have furthered intellectual and spiritual development of mankind. There is something perfect in this universe…at least up in the sky….,which is a miracle, definitely.

http://www.jaxa.jp/press/2009/02/20090213_kaguya_j.html

(The distance from the earth to the moon is 100 times longer than the diameter of the moon.

Interestingly, the common center of mass of the earth and moon system is 1707km below the surface of the earth, namely under the ground on which we stand.)

Earthquake Research Institute (ERI), University of Tokyo
The academic research center developed a special technique to visualize the inside of a volcano through cosmic-ray observations.

---------------------------------------------
We have developed a novel radiographic imaging method to survey the inhomogeneous structure of the crust. As an example, we performed measurements at Mt. Asama volcano, and studied the feasibility of using an azimuthally isotropic flux of cosmic ray muons in the energy range up to a few TeV. The principle of the technique is that by measuring muon absorption along different nearly horizontal paths through a solid body, one can deduce the density distribution in the interior of the object….

http://www.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp/yaoki/2007EPSL.pdf
---------------------------------------------

By applying this method to the recent eruption of Mt. Asama, the researchers have found the eruption was not caused by magma coming up to the surface of the mountain. But it was hydrovolcanic explosion caused by pressed and heated vapor.

So, the situation is not dangerous for people living around Mt. Asama which is close to the Kanto Plain where the Tokyo Metropolitan Area is situated with 30 million citizens.

Yet, I can call it a kind of miracle, since I actually went out and checked Mt. Asama a week ago.

SECTION II: Emergency Rocket Booster for Air Plane

Every jet liner must be equipped with rocket boosters.

When a jet plane looses power and starts to fall to the ground, a few seconds before the crash with the ground the rocket boosters will be ignited to give a thrust upward, so that a falling plane would be heaved up to glide and land softly as much as possible.

"This Beginning of Miracles"

"This Beginning of Miracles"

The most likely truth or reality in a series of incidents that led to the Great Fall of Wall Street in September 2008 is as follows:

(1) Huge subprime loan debts and the resultant financial-transaction crisis led Wall Street to looking for other easy business for making another big money.

(2) So, Wall Street leveraged the upward trend of crude oil prices due to a sharp increase in demands for energy resources.

(3) However, against a drastic increase in crude oil prices, U.S. consumers started to refrain from buying new cars and other goods and services.

(4) When the total subprime loan defaults crossed over a certain level, Wall Street was forced to collect huge cashes and funds to compensate them, which weakened their position for boostinng crude oil prices in the WTI-indexed market.

(5) Global consumers came to be influenced by higher oil prices (and food prices) and financial stringency, leading to a drop in needs for crude oil and other commodities.

(6) Then, two major factors for supporting higher oil prices, consumer expenditures and available funds, came to lose driving force to bolster higher oil prices.

(7) Subsequently, the crude oil market plummeted. (Corn prices also collapsed.)

(8) Wall Street had no means and resort to prevent the chain of steep declines in the crude oil market, the money/credit market, the mortgage market, and the personal consumer market.

(9) Half a year later from September 2008, namely now, the U.S. Government is not simply talking about $1 trillion bail-out scheme, but it is prepared for implementing it with a help from the Congress.

Ok, let’s check an insightful figure a Japanese researcher presented on the Internet:

Note that the researcher found that when a crude oil price gets higher than 30 dollars per barrel (as of 2004 or so), the US personal consumer expenditures clearly start to decline.

And, two major contributors to an increase in global oil demands have been the U.S. and China. Among the 5.7% increase in 2004, the US accounted for 0.8% and China 1.7%.

That is all for today.

But, the situation of economics is as follows:
----------------------------------------
Paul Krugman applies the term ‘boneheaded’ to Robert Barro’s discussion disputing the existence of a Keynesian multiplier and hence the ineffectiveness of government deficit spending. Barro responds that Krugman, a Nobel Prize winning economist, knows nothing about the effect of government fiscal policy.

I will continue to focus on this issue, at least, later.

"A River Went out of Eden"

(Volcano Mt. Asama, northwest of Tokyo)

"A River Went out of Eden"

In the electronic engineering, there are two interesting techniques called the negative feedback (NFB) and the positive feedback (PFB).

In the electronic engineering, the most important function is amplification of a voltage of input signal, since a radio signal or a TV signal received in a radio set, a TV set, or a cellular phone has only a small level of voltage.

In the circuits for this amplification, the NFB is often used to stabilize properties of the amplification function; the PFB is also used to further magnify the input signal voltage.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feedback

As you see, part of the output signal, amplified by the amplifier "A," is added to the input signal. (The component "B" can change the phase of a signal, for example, for 90 degrees.)

In this analogy, a human incident expressed by F(x) can have some feedback added to it.

F(x) is an input to the human society "A"; accordingly the human society outputs some being amplified; this output is also input to the human society "A" as time goes by, which is not illustrated here, though.

So, a special part of this output can be also routed back and directly added to the original input F(x).

The point is that in my application this feedback can be expressed by a differential form: dF(x)/dx.

Then an effective input to the society will be F(x) + dF(x)/dx.

With appropriate coefficients "m" and "n," an incident in a certain era can be expressed as follows:

Y = m* F(x) + n*dF(x)/dx

Let’s assume that "m" << "n" in a certain era and "m" >> "n" in the subsequent era. Then we can see the following graph, as "<<" means "being far less than."

In Era 1, a phenomena may follow change in dF(x)/dx.
But, in Era 2, it will follow change in F(x).

Note also that "x" does not necessarily mean time. It can be however a function of time as expressed x(t). For example, it can be the number of people in the world who consume goods worth more than US$1.25, 12.5, or 125.0; F(x) can be total global demands for crude oil.

Please view the two figures a little more, since I may debate on them more, later.

(Why must it be a differentiated part, dF(x)/dx, instead of f(x)? That is the key point of this argument.)
*** *** *** ***

What I want to present is how to interpret human incidents happening and continuing along with time so as to form part of history.

The transition point between two eras can be the Great Depression in 1929, or September of the year 2001 or 2008.

Or it is when St. Paul heard the voice of Jesus Christ or St. Peter found God in Jesus of Nazareth.

Now what about you, folks?

"Arise"

"Arise"

Last night I was almost hit by a taxi. So, I went back home and took a meal and watched TV to find that I got a little cold....though it is all right now...

SECTION I: Japan's History in Theory

Let’s develop a little more the theory I presented yesterday.

I wrote: If you monitor any non-nonsense incident, you have to check its trend referring to the above three phases: a stable growth, a plateau, and a sharp or drastic change.

For example, the Japanese history truly followed this pattern.

A Stable Growth: Until the early 18th century when the capital of samurai Japan Edo came to have one million residents, the Japanese society had steadily developed with agriculture, handicraft manufacturing, and culture and education cultivated and widely applied to people’s life, including farmers and samurais .

A Plateau: Then until the middle of the 19th century when Western powers started to forcibly request Japan to open its door, the Japanese society had showed almost no significant change while people were peacefully living in a feudalistic status system governed by the samurai class.

A Sharp Change: Since traditional samurai regime was replaced, through a series of civil wars, with a modern government controlled by samurai-converted bureaucrats in 1868, the Empire of Japan modernized itself by fully leveraging Western technologies and systems while its capital Tokyo (formerly Edo) was further expanded.

A Catastrophe: At the end of WWII, Tokyo was largely devastated by large-scale air raids by the U.S. military and the Empire of Japan surrendered to the Allied Forces in 1945.

Then a new era based on a new social and political paradigm began in Japan. This era is characterized by the Japanese Constitution being oriented to a Christian ideal, though so implicitly.

SECTION II: CRUDE OIL PRICES

Let’s confirm the theory in the trend of crude oil prices, since the argument focused on real demands and money games was so heated before September 2008.
You have to change a range or a magnitude in measurement sometimes and adjust a focused period, since one figure can include two or more eras.
A figure must be usually filtered through some mathematical operations in order to grasp a trend of a meaningful factor. So, differentiation is applied to data.

But, sometimes it actually shows a result of differentiation, as it is. In that case, integration is rather needed to see a trend of an associated phenomena.

In short, a graph can show a phenomena controlled by a tangible factor or otherwise by an intangible (or imaginary) factor which may become tangible in a "new era," as illustrated in the form of G(x) in the following figure.
(Click to enlarge as the figure shows two eras.)

And, stability and growth can be repeated and terminated in any order until it starts to change decisively.

Finally, there are two key points:
(1) Applicable Differential Equations such as Y = dF(x)/dx
(2) A New Domain as symbolized by Y = F(x) + G(x)

I may delve into them later.

"Good Tidings of Great Joy"

(Snowcapped Volcano Mt. Asama, which recently erupted, though very mildly, situated 150km northwest of the center of Tokyo City)

"Good Tidings of Great Joy"

According to "FEDERAL RESERVE STATISTICAL RELEASE," dollar bills or their equivalents in America were increasing at a pace of $400 billion per year before September, 2008.

Since Sept. 2008, U.S. dollars have been increasing at $1200 billion per year; now everyday three times more dollars are input into the U.S. than before.

So, let’s check an economic site: http://econoindicators.com/2009/01/money-supply-january-15-2009/

M2 consists of M1 plus (1) savings deposits (including money market deposit accounts); (2) small-denomination time deposits (time deposits in amounts of less than $100,000), less individual retirement account (IRA) and Keogh balances at depository institutions; and (3) balances in retail money market mutual funds, less IRA and Keogh balances at money market mutual funds.

M1 consists of (1) currency outside the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve Banks, and the vaults of depository institutions; (2) traveler’s checks of nonbank issuers; (3) demand deposits at commercial banks (excluding those amounts held by depository institutions, the U.S. government, and foreign banks and official institutions) less cash items in the process of collection and Federal Reserve float; and (4) other checkable deposits (OCDs), consisting of negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) and automatic transfer service (ATS) accounts at depository institutions, credit union share draft accounts, and demand deposits at thrift institutions.

But, here what I want to discuss is the pattern of an incident in the human society, referring to this figure.

An incident transits at a steady pace like in the period until Feb. 2008 in the above M2 Figure.

It then reaches a plateau, showing little changes, like in the period between February 2008 and August 2008.

And then, it suddenly starts to swing upward sharply like in the period after August 2008.

If you monitor any non-nonsense incident or occurrence, you have to check its trend referring to the above three phases: a stable growth, a plateau, and a sharp or drastic change. For, example, you can check the historical trend of the NYSE indexes or crude oil prices in various ranges of observation time.

This pattern can also apply to the U.S. 2008 Presidential Election.

In addition, after the third phase of a sharp or drastic change usually comes a catastrophic change or an entire shift of the world to a new world or a new era characterized by a new paradigm.

So, we are yet to see the conclusion of this Wall Street-triggered global financial crisis and recession as well as the U.S. Presidential Election boom.

What’s more, in the head page of the EconoIndicators, you can also find the following data:
-----------------------
Employment Situation At a Glance
• Total Employment: 142,099,000
• Nonfarm Payroll Employment: 134,580,000
• Monthly Change: Down 598,000
• Unemployed Persons: 11,616,000
• Unemployment Rate: 7.6%
• Change: Down Up 0.4%

-----------------------

It is time for 11,616,000 Americans to change their view on their lives, the society, and the world and follow Ever-Holy Jesus Christ to be glorious members of the Kingdom of God regardless of their financial status in the material and economic sphere.

It is so since, dollar bills are now increasing in the American society at the pace of $3 billion per day.

"The Tree of Life"

(The ume apricots are the first flower to blossom in early spring in Japan...)

"The Tree of Life"

As all the decent jobs in society are occupied by 70% of the population, the rest of the people must struggle to find any chance to make money even if it is not so decent at all.

That is why a portion of the people, 3% of all the population, is under strong temptation for any kind of crimes even in Japan, the E.U., and the U.S.

That is why the media’s news reporting is full of crimes, though I cannot simply blame criminals while I hate their crimes.

(As for the murder rate, Japan’s rate is one-seventh of the rate of the U.S. and one fourth in comparison with France and Germany…and the U.K. has the highest crime rate per capita among Japan, France, Germany, the U.S., and the U.K…)

Oh, it is truly a tough job to serve the nation by reporting crime news every night…

And, though the covered period for the following data is between 1998 - 2000...

SECTION I: Subprime Loan Default Solution

Now somebody must offer an effective solution to avoid the future debacle to be triggered by other five million default cases in repayment for the subprime lending.

----------------------
Echoing these concerns, consumer rights attorney Irv Ackelsberg predicted in testimony to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee that five million foreclosures may occur over the next several years as interest rates on subprime mortgages issued in 2004 and 2005 reset from the initial, lower, fixed rate to the higher, floating adjustable rate or "adjustable rate mortgage".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subprime_lending
-----------------------

First of all, it is said that those who yearly earn 1.5 million dollars or more account for 5% of the U.S. population, namely 15 million people.

My solution is that the U.S. Government and these 15 million rich Americans buy out all the five million outstanding subprime-loan houses.

Accordingly, the book value of all the houses will be maintained and related interests will be paid to owners of financial instruments that include securitized subprime-loan liabilities. Put simply, those ominous pariahs in the financial market will turn to be a source of real assets.

If a man earns yearly $1.5 million, he would most probably spend 10% of the income, namely $150,000, for stupid things or must lose it somewhere. Therefore, actually each of them can buy one existing house with a margin of his yearly income. If one in five among them, namely three million rich men decide to buy one used house for each, total three million used houses can be purchased in the subprime-loan housing market.

The U.S. Government has to spend its budget only for purchasing other two million houses, at the costs of $300 billion (= $150,000 multiplied by 2,000,000).

Compared with the current measures the U.S. Government is applying with the expected total costs of $8.5 trillion (according to Bloomberg), my plan’s $300 billion are just 3.5% (of the $8.5 trillion).

The U.S. Government and the rich 15 million Americans must find a way of realizing profits from those five million houses now being owned by them.

I will be of course of help to them with more innovative plans, since there are 10 million refugees all over the world, with 2.1 million in Afghanistan, 1.5 million in Iraq, 0.7 million in Sudan, and 0.5 million in Somalia, Republic of Congo, and Burundi, respectively, while there are five million houses to be evacuated in the U.S.

SECTION II: Japanese Obamas This Week

YURIKO KOIKE

Ms. Koike, a former defense minister of Japan, flew to Palestine, though the National Assmbly is in session in Tokyo, early this February to contribute about US$ 30,000 or more to victims in Gaza, a city many streets of which were reduced to ruins due to the Israel-Hamas battles.

She collected this amount by holding a party for the peace of Palestine in Tokyo in January, where the wife of Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso and the wives of two former Prime Ministers, Mr. Yasuo Fukuda and Mr. Shinzo Abe, also made appearance.

Though she had a press conference in Jerusalem on Feb.2 after her trip to Gaza, there seems to be no English reports on her passionate action.

So, let’s be content with checking a Japanese article and an old English one.

http://www.asahi.com/international/update/0202/TKY200902020051.html

A Female Worker in Japan

Yesterday a Japanese TV station presented a report on a Japanese small company that has been producing sound profits even in these economic circumstances.

The company has scores of employees; remarkably almost half of them are mentally handicapped persons.

To allow them to work efficiently, the company has introduced various systems and methods suitable for their personalities, habits, and characteristics, resulting in high quality goods being delivered from its factory to consumers.

But, the chairman of the company did not like to employ disabled or handicapped persons at all until 50 years ago.

Fifty years ago, a handicapped girl came to work in the company as a kind of intern, since she just graduated from a junior-high school.

When her term in the assignment was over, the chairman, then the young president of the company, would not employ her at all. Yet, all the workers in the factory strongly recommended the president to officially recruit the handicapped girl into the company, since she had worked with enthusiasm more than anybody.

Accordingly the president took on her to find that she was an excellent worker. Then he changed his view on disabled and handicapped people; the company started to employ more disabled and handicapped people since then.

Now, she has been working in the company for 50 years. The once-young president is also still there as the old chairman of the company which is still also nameless and small but profitable in the Japanese society.

**************************************************

Yeah, that is all for today.

I recommend a rest to all of you, since February is slow in business as with August usually in Japan.

But, remember the precious lessons of September 15 of 2008 as well as September 11 of 2001, so worshipfully.

"Garden Eastward in Eden" - Whale Flesh or Beef

(Finally Around Tokyo...Moonlit Steam Locomotive in Display)

Whale Flesh or Beef

[Updated in January 2012]

Health is above everything else is true if you are in your 20's.

SECTION I: JAPANESE WHALING

SECTION II: U.S. Mad Cow Disease Victims Estimated

The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease occurs to one of one million people in a natural manner without involvement of the mad cow disease, but a patient has an onset of this natural Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease usually at the age of 63 on average.

Conversely if it occurs when one is young, it may be not so natural.

Yet, the mad cow disease (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) must be most probably linked with the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

(It is believed by most scientists that the disease may be transmitted to human beings who eat the brain or spinal cord of infected carcasses.[3] In humans, it is known as new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD or nvCJD), and by April 2008, it had killed 164 people in Britain, and 40 elsewhere[4] with the number expected to rise because of the disease's long incubation period.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovine_spongiform_encephalopathy
)

But some patients of the Alzheimer's Disease look like those of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, according to a certain theory.

Please refer to the following:

("Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures 2007"
By The Alzheimer’s Association)
http://www.alz.org/national/documents/report_alzfactsfigures2007.pdf

Please note that 10% of all the deaths of Alzheimer's Disease patients in the U.S. is believed by some people concerned here and there to be actually death of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease most probably linked with the mad cow disease.

****************************************************

If the whale flesh has special healing properties on the Alzheimer's Disease and the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, there would be peace between whaling Japan and the anti-whaling Anglo-Saxon coalition.

Did you get it?......Whales or mad cows!?

Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

"Thy First Love"

(Around Tokyo)

"Thy First Love"

In Japan, there are 108 brands of daily newspapers with a total daily circulation of 70 million copies.

In China, there are 963 brands of daily newspapers with a total daily circulation of 97 million copies.

In the U.S., there are 1,486 brands of daily newspapers with a total daily circulation of 57 million copies as of 2004.

However, the population of Japan is 120 million; the US population is 300 million; and the China’s population 1,324 million.

Accordingly, the number of copies being issued by newspaper companies everyday is 551.2 per 1,000 citizens for Japan, 74.1 for China, and 193.2 for the U.S. as of 2004.

In addition, it is said to understand 90% of all the sentences written in a Japanese newspaper you must know at least 10,000 Japanese words, including complicated Kanji expressions.

It is also said that to understand 90% of all the sentences written in an English newspaper you must know at least 3,000 English words.

It is also said that to understand 90% of all the sentences written in a French newspaper you must know at least 2,000 French words.

That is why I am telling you that the Japanese language is more advanced than English and French.

**** ***** *****

Yet, if you are a Japanese and able to speak English and French fluently, most of Japanese will envy you.

This is, and has been, one of the most significant social and cultural issues in Japan since the late 19th century.

Anyway, if you want to obtain more authentic data, refer to the Japanese Government:

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

"They Have No Wine"

"They Have No Wine"

Before the start of the Second World War (September 1, 1939 – September 2, 1945), Nazi Germany and the communist Soviet Union had been busy in a bizarre twist producing so many fighter planes and bombers.

It is apparent that Germany would challenge the USSR or the U.K. for any reason, otherwise it did not need so many air-fighters.

But why? Why must have Nazi Germany launched the war against the communist Soviet Union in 1941?

Before the start of the Second World War, the USA and the U.K. had been busy occupying so many foreign lands and territories fully relying on its naval forces. The only power that could challenge this Anglo-Saxon colonialism in the global scale was the Empire of Japan. But, it looks like a potentially losing game if the Empire of Japan alone had exercised its naval force against the Anglo-Saxon coalition, though it actually did with undependable ally of Germany and Italy so far from the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean.

Yet, you must be surprised to know that the military spending of the Empire of Japan between 1930 and 1938 surpassed that of the U.S.

It is because the Empire of Japan had been involved in Chinese civil wars since the late 19th century and especially since 1937.

For the Empire of Japan, it was not a simple war of invasion for exploitation and plunder of the Asian Continent in competition with the Soviet Union coming down from Siberia; it was a kind of process of building the Greater Empire of Japan in East Asia, aiming at prosperity and harmony of all the peoples in the region with Japan at its center as the sole military, technological, economic, and cultural leader of Asia against the European-Russian/American powers.

Of course, here again, it is confirmed that Nazi Germany and the communist Soviet Union had been apparently on a collision course, for whatever reason.

Before June 1941, if leaders of the Empire of Japan had fairly studied these data, I believe they would have been more smartly engaged in the diplomatic operations in Washington D.C., London, Berlin, and Moscow.

But, nonetheless, it is very, very sad that the above statistics do provide any hint neither on how many casualties must have been suffered if a great war had started, nor on how many European Judaists had been being oppressed, prosecuted, and executed.

*** *** ***

What I want to say is that there must be some yet-unpublicized critical and substantial data and statistics we have to study on financial handling and transactions having been conducted on Wall Street before and even after Sept. 15, 2008.

Anyway, Dear, I do not like especially to draw figures using Exel software, though you may count on me in this context.

Joh 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

Joh 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

Joh 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

Joh 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Joh 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

"Son, Thy Sins..."

"Son, Thy Sins..."

According to the U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association, the global semiconductor market reached $256 billion due to a 3% growth year-on-year in terms of sales.

Accordingly, the global semiconductor material market grew by 14% to $42 billion. The breakdown of the global market into each region is as follows:

Everybody is using electronic goods nowadays all over the world, including cellular phones, personal computers, and TVs.

Electronic goods are equipped with various electronic components or chips made of semiconductor devices, in order to form electronic circuits which function and work following instructions from a user or a consumer.

Semiconductor devices are made of special materials called semiconductor materials.

--------------------------------------------
Semiconductor materials are insulators at absolute zero temperature that conduct electricity in a limited way at room temperature. The defining property of a semiconductor material is that it can be doped with impurities that alter its electronic properties in a controllable way.

Because of their application in devices like transistors (and therefore computers) and lasers, the search for new semiconductor materials and the improvement of existing materials is an important field of study in materials science.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_materials
--------------------------------------------

Therefore, primarily, modern life of today worldwide is supported by semiconductor materials.

And, as you can confirm in the above figure, Japan is still No. 1 in this field.

** ** **

Pick up any proud man from Wall Street and ask him to draft the design of electronic circuits for any electronic goods.

He may be able to do it based on his knowledge of electronic engineering.

Ask him to draft the design for any electronic component or chip used in the electronic circuits.

He may be able to do it based on his knowledge of semiconductor science.

Ask him to draft the design for any semiconductor material to be developed for any semiconductor chip.

Probably, he cannot do it, since it can be only achieved through application of condensed matter physics which need non-nonsense efforts and investments.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condensed_matter_physics

So, no proud men on Wall Street can design any of electronic goods or gears, while they are behaving like masters of those specialists, researchers, engineers, technicians, factory workers, and science students.

If only they admit that they are fools compared with those workers and students in this field, they might come to like to serve them who are also consumers and users or clients for Wall Street.

Otherwise, you have to use computer software of which hidden structure and functions you never know, while you have to use computer hardware of which hidden structure and functions you never know, in the worst case.

Yes, the last place a computer virus can penetrate and work on might be the semiconductor material in the nano scale…

So, trust in Japan.

Indeed, even in a Sony's plant around Tokyo, skilled workers are allowed to enjoy a status like the Noble Prize winner wearing a factory uniform Mr. Koichi Tanaka in Kyoto as I mentioned yesterday.

(Oh, dear, they will take it as a joke, since somebody completely looks like a fool even to himself so successfully. Have you checked the World/Japan No.1s collection page?

Mar 2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

Mar 2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

Mar 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

"Wise Men from the East"

(Tokyo Holiday)

"Wise Men from the East"

A month ago, namely on January 1, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper issued the New Year’s Day edition with some attachments.

As I was busy all through January, some of them have been left unchecked. This morning, I happened to take up one of them to find Japan as the number one or some statistics on robots in use worldwide.

(See also data in http://www.jara.jp/data/dl/kado.pdf , or http://www.jara.jp/e/index.html )

In reality, Japan is No.1 in the world in terms of manufacturing potential supported by real machine.

The world should order any necessary machine from Japan.

The world should order any sophisticated machine from Japan.

The world should place an order with Japan for any useful machine.

The world should order any high-tech machine from Japan so as to boost their industry and economy.

It is so when paper money and instruments have failed the world on Wall Street, the world must turn to the real industry which requires real machine being produced in Japan.

* * *

Apart from Japanese nationalistic remarks The New York Times the most loathes, I want to introduce very straightforward remarks Mr. Koichi Tanaka, a Japanese Nobel Prize winner in 2002, stated in the New Year Day’s supplement of the newspaper.

Mr. Tanaka said that it is a big mistake that Japan denies the conventional way of academic, scientific, engineering, and industrial development based on teamwork. Truly as in the Wall-Street type of business, some Japanese have claimed in these years that we have to change our conventional wisdom in much respect for teamwork to promotion of individualism and leadership of a few charismatic leaders.

Mr. Koichi Tanaka, a Nobel Prize winner for physics who usually wears a work outfit, believes that Japan can integrate diverse and useful elements, being cultivated in various parts of the world, into a new form of innovation, while preserving a faith in human value to be attained through professional and traditional ethics.

The rules having been effective on Wall Street until September 2008 cannot simply apply to future advanced industrial nations, so crystal-clearly.

Mat 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Mat 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
