Conscience is More Important than any Religion

One of the most profound teaching of Christ Jesus is to take up one's own cross and follow Him.

It is summarized by Christianity that teaches that everyone is a sinner.

How many times would a typical man tell lies in his life?  How many times would a typical man hurt others on purpose with or without justification?  How many times would a typical man neglect victims?  How many times would a typical man betray others for his profit?  How many times would a typical man refuse to support justice for his feeling or pride?  How many times would an ordinary man silence his conscience?

But if there is somebody that is poorer than you, you are a sinner.  If there is somebody that is unhappier than you, you are a sinner.  Only the poorest and unhappiest man is free from sin.  But there is no such a living man, since the poorest and unhappiest should die soon.  Every living man has his own cross.

In this world, everyone is taught that he or she has a right to be rich and happy.  But Christ Jesus never said that everyone has a right to be rich and happy.  To be rich and happy means to love oneself more than anybody.  But Christ Jesus said that one must love God than him or her.

So, essentially, a man has no right to be rich or happy.  Therefore, this civilization of the mankind is based on wrong teaching, belief, and principle.

Indeed, a rich and happy man has a heavy cross to carry, though he would not even carry it.  But, at the last judgment on him, he must face it.

In this context, conscience is more important than any religion.  Because religion is invented by man but conscience is created by God.  That is why there have been many non-Christians who have been saved and admitted into Heaven.

What 2.3 billion Christians of Today Mean

In these 2000 years, God sent His Son only once to the human world.  But why only once?

If God had sent His Son, say, once per century, we must have already 20 Christ Jesus'.  The world should have been more improved.  But God did not send His Son any more, though the second coming of Christ Jesus was promised.

If God had simply wanted to improve the human world, we naturally think that He should have sent His Son to the human world so many times till the mankind really followed the teaching of God.  But, He didn't.  God even did not punish people who did not believe in Christ Jesus in a clear manner, though bad guys often collapsed for themselves in their lives.

What I want to say is that if God had really wanted to correct human beings and make them have right faith in God, He must have sent Christ Jesus 10 times or 100 times but not only once in these 2000 years.

Nonetheless from another perspective, God might have sent His Son so many times after the mission by Christ Jesus 2000 years ago.  Today there are 2.3 billion Christians.  But, when Christ Jesus was preaching by himself, those who became His followers seems to have been only 120.

There is no good evidence on the number of Christians in the first century. Acts neglects to mention or even estimate the rate of losses and has every reason to exaggerate the scale of Christianity's success, yet still only claims the Church began with about 120 members after the death of Jesus (Acts 1:15), while the largest actual number on record for the size of the Church in Palestine is 5,000 total members (Acts 4:4). All subsequent growth is described only in vague terms, and Acts loses complete track of the matter once even those few Palestinian Christians "scattered" and eventually fled (Acts 8:1, 11:19).

So, today there are Christians whose number is 20 million times the number of Christians Christ Jesus made convert during his three year mission in the first century.  This can be interpreted as  God has sent Christ Jesus 20 million times to this world.

However, as God is spirit and Christ Jesus is spirit, this 20 million times of Christ Jesus missions must have been performed spiritually rather than physically.

Anyway, those who personally and rather secretly encountered the spirit of Christ Jesus to become His followers in these 2000 years have not written down their spiritual experiences.  Those episodes must have not been publicly reported except some notable cases.  And it might mean that God has sent Christ Jesus 20 million times to this world, according to the above calculation.

Yet, in this early 21st century, God must send Christ Jesus to this world more physically like the first emergence of 2000 years ago.  And God seems to have already done it around 2010.

Glass is transparent, which means it allows light to pass it.

There are two reasons why glass is transparent.  First glass has an amorphous body, which means that glass does not consist of crystallization.  However metals, stones, and most types of material include  crystalline bodies.  Most of substances consist of two or more crystalline bodies.  Incoming light is scattered at borders between two crystalline parts in such a substance.  On the other hand, glass does not contain crystalline bodies like liquid.

(Diamond and quartz are made of single crystalline body, so that they can be transparent.)

Second, glass consists of silicon dioxides that do not absorb visible light rays.  Incoming light to metal, a stone, or an ordinary substance surly hits an electron of an atom included in such a substance.  Energy of the electron is increased when light hits the electron.  But in most cases, the electron soon decreases its energy by discharging light whose wavelength is pre-determined and different than that of the incoming light.  This discharged light is observed as reflected light to human eyes.  If electrons of a substance energized by incoming light discharge only green light, it looks green to our eyes no matter if it is exposed to natural light.

So, in most cases, a substance cannot be transparent.  But electrons of atoms composing a silicon dioxide molecule energized by incoming visible light discharge light with the same wavelength as that of the incoming visible light. If light hits an electron of a silicon dioxide molecule, the electron increases its energy but it soon discharges the light with the same wavelength to return to the original energy level, which means that virtually silicon dioxides composing glass do not absorb or retain incoming light.  But, visible light is passed from one electron to another till it gets through the glass, though the propagation velocity of light through glass becomes slower.

In this way glass consisting of silicon dioxides is transparent, since it does not include crystalline parts, like liquid, and electrons included in atoms of its constituent silicon dioxides do not absorb and retain energy of visible light but relay it from one electron to another.

If a man has ability to see though minds of others, his ability must be like glass.  Or, if a man has a mind like glass, he must be able to see truth of others.

Little children have a mind that is not crystallized yet and that does not include desire that obstacle straight propagation of truth.  So, they can be taught well by God or angels.

Anyway, it is a miracle that some substances or some molecules and atoms in this world can be transparent to visible light.  It must be extremely difficult to design silicon dioxides, diamond, and other molecules to become transparent at the beginning of the universe.

And, of course, if wave lengths of visible light for living things on the earth are different from the current ones, glass must look opaque even to the our eyes.

This is how minds of little children are different from grown-ups.  And that is why Christ Jesus said that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the Kingdom of God where truth is transparent.

The concentration of oxygen in the air is about 21%.

But if it is reduced to 18%, some person may have a headache.  If it is reduced to 12%, most person feel faint and nauseous.  If the concentration of oxygen in the air is decreased to 10%, people will lose consciousness.  At 8%, people will die in 6 to 8 minutes.  At 6%, people will die in 6 minutes.

But if concentration of oxygen in the air is higher or 60% or more, oxygen will damage the human body.  So, in the medical care, oxygen at 50% concentration is provided for a patient who needs more oxygen only for 48 hours; 100% concentration oxygen only for 6 hours.

If the concentration of oxygen in the air is 35% or more, forests would break into spontaneous flames.

When living things invaded into the land from the sea 4.2 billion years ago, the oxygen concentration in the air was 10 to 14%.  In Carboniferous period 300 million years ago when fern was prevailing, it was 30 to 35%.  In 190 million years ago when dinosaurs got dominant, it was 15 to 22%.  Today, we live in the air with 21% Oxygen concentration.

However, it is unknown why it is now 21%.  And though it seems that the oxygen concentration in the air on the earth has been between 13% to 35% throughout the history of the earth, the reason why the oxygen level has been kept in  the range is unknown.

So, if any other planets in the universe have physical conditions suitable for emergence of living things and evolution of life to higher forms of life, there is no assurance that they can have suitable concentration of oxygen for man-like living things.

So, by chance, the oxygen concentration in the air on the earth has been suitable for evolution of living things to the human species.

This is another miracle that tells intervention of God to the nature on the earth for the purpose of creation of the mankind.

It is a miracle, since we cannot scientifically explain why the oxygen concentration today is about 21%, so suitable for human beings.

How to Understand Christ Jesus

If there is really Heaven and the hell, how does this world look from Heaven or the hell?

To understand Christ Jesus, we have to assume that there is God who created this universe and who is in Heaven.  And God created the human beings and loves them.  In addition, God wants human beings to love Him.  It means that God wants human beings to be good to others or love lives of others.

As human beings came to make wars and  enslave and exploit the defeated without love to them, God decided to correct the behaviors of the mankind by sending His Son to the human world 2000 years ago.  Indeed, Romans occupied large areas around the Mediterranean with advanced military and social systems at the time.  And the major industry of Romans that was the main resource of their wealth was military campaigns.  Bloody and cruel rule was ever growing.  It had to be changed for the future of mankind.  So, God sent His Son to Palestine under rule of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago.

If we accept this scenario, we can understand Christ Jesus.  But if we don't admit that there is God who created this universe and who sent His Son Christ Jesus to the human world to save the mankind from the bloody and cruel situation, we can't understand Christ Jesus.

If we don't believe in God, Christ Jesus was just a failed person of religion.  Though He preached something interesting and performed a kind of miracles, He was captured and executed by His enemies and Roman soldiers like a helpless man.  Christ Jesus was just a strange religious figure, and there is no need for us to understand him.   Christianity happened to be established based on unique teachings and ideologies, but it was a simple success story of a religious body.  There is no God, and Christ Jesus could not be or did not have to be the Son of God.  This is how we would think about Christ Jesus if we don't believe in God.

But, again, if believe in God, we can better understand Christ Jesus.

But still we cannot understand God.  However, if we don't believe in existence of God, we will not try to understand God.  Yet, even if believe in God, we cannot easily understand Him.

So, the degree of our understanding of God might tell how much we are advanced intellectually and spiritually.

In this context, the modern human civilization has not contributed much to our true advancement.

What is seen is made of what cannot be seen as the Bible tells.

Even every material thing around us is made of only protons, neutrons, and electrons.  Every plant, animal, mineral, gas, and industrial product is made of only protons, neutrons, and electrons in addition to the effect of light.　　And we cannot see protons, neutrons, and electrons, because their diameter is less than 1/10^15 meters (0.00000000000001 meters).

Actually what we can see around us in our daily lives consists of only four elements:  protons, neutrons, electrons, and light.  Every tree, grass, stone, chemical product, metal product, plastic product, piece of clothes and devices are made of only four elements.  All the smart phones, TV sets, cars, roads, buildings, jet planes, the moon, the sun, stars, etc. are made of these four elements.

Then our mind work might consists of only several elements: love, hate, pride, and the sense of superiority.

No matter how complex a man looks, what makes his feeling, motives, and will might consist of only several elements such as love, hate, pride, and the sense of superiority.  Especially love can be divided into love to God or love to oneself that leads to selfish desire.

It is well known that any crimes can be categorized into those caused by desire for money, hate for others, lust of the flesh, and love of possession.

Put simply, ultimately a man seems to be motivated by love to God or hate for God.  And, every incident in the human world might be caused by these ultimate factors.

However, we cannot simply see these elements on the faces of others, since people can hide their minds, pretend, and deceive others.

Anyway, remarkably simple and few elements compose this complicated world inside and outside the human minds.

Shakespeare and Betrayal

According to the Gospels, Christ Jesus was betrayed by one of His disciples: Judas Iscariot.  This story gave a great impact on people of later generations.  One of them was Shakespeare.

A man like Christ Jesus could be even betrayed by one of his followers.  Then any hero could be also betrayed by one of his followers or any inferior figure around him.

If such a situation was viewed from a psychological point of view, it could be a really appealing story.  Shakespeare applied the psychological aspect of the relationship between Christ Jesus and Judas to his dramas, though Christ Jesus was not so emotional as leading figures in Shakespeare's dramas.

Betrayal is one of the key issues for Shakespeare's dramas.  And, Shakespeare must have learnt the fact that any great man such as Christ Jesus could face betrayal by somebody close to Him.  And, it could be a theme for a really appealing drama.

However, it is unknown how much Shakespeare suffered this human tragedy in his real life.  Or it is unknown who Shakespeare betrayed.

Anyway dramas Shakespeare wrote which do not include a scenario of betrayal do not look so successful.

However, the Gospels might be interpreted as a warning to believers that they cannot get rid of betrayal in their lives as Christ Jesus had to face the betrayal by Judas.   Therefore, we have to be always awakened.

Shakespeare was a cautious man, so that he did not write documents other than plays.  Writing was his resource of wealth.  If he had written carelessly any other documents than his plays, somebody might have abused them to cause damage to his reputation.  He did not leave much written evidence about what a man he was, which constituted the mystery about him.

Christ Jesus did not write letters, either.  He might have been afraid that such documentation would have been abused, since possible betrayers were everywhere.

From What Motive Running for Presidential Election?

One of the most significant expressions in the Bible is an "evil motive."

It means there are two types of motives when we do something: evil motives and holy motives.  If we can act always from holy motives, we must not be blamed by God.  But do we always think about whether what we are going to do is based on an evil motive or a holy motive?

We usually do something, because it is necessary or we simply want to do it to satisfy ourselves.  We don't think about whether we are doing something from an evil motive or a holy motive.  Rather, we know at least that we are doing something not from a holy motive.  And, we think it is natural.

But Christ Jesus said that He was doing what His Father in Heaven wanted Him to do.  And, Christ Jesus must have been doing only what His Father in Heaven wanted Him to do.  In this context Christ Jesus was only one who was doing anything from holy motivation.

For us to be blamed for doing something from an evil motive means that we are inherently given ability to discern good from evil.  Therefore, we are requested to act from a good motive.  This ability cannot be generated from our existence in the nature.  It must come from Heaven through our social lives.

Essentially acts based on love to others are not from evil motives.  Acts to make oneself happy by sacrificing or neglecting others are from evil motives.

But acts based on love to God are from holy motives.  But most people do not know what it is to love God.  However, the first step toward loving God is to appreciate God for He allowed us to be born or have life.  It means to admit that God created this universe and the world as well as human beings and human souls.  It means that God is the Creator.

When we vote for, for example, US Presidential candidates, we have to think whether the candidates are running for presidency from an evil motive or a good motive.  If a candidate is driving his or her presidential campaign mostly for his/her happiness or desire, his/her election efforts are based on an evil motive.

But can we find any candidates who are running for election to make Americans and global citizens or especially poor Americans and poor global citizens happy?

God Created the Universe on Purpose

Everything we can actually observe and handle in this world was created from hydrogen or through nuclear fusion starting from hydrogen nuclei.

From the beginning the sun is made of hydrogen.  In the sun, through processes of nuclear fusion many atomic elements from helium to iron are being created.  And, when the sun undergoes supernova explosion, heavier atomic elements than iron, such as gold and uranium, are created.

The earth is made of those atomic elements created by a sun that was one-generation older than the current sun.  So, the earth has gold, uranium, and other heavy atomic elements.

But, the sun that was one-generation older than the current sun had been also made of only hydrogen.　Though a hydrogen atom consists of one proton and one electron, hydrogen atoms in the sun consist of only proton as electrons are separated due to very high temperature.

Anyway, fixed stars, including our sun, consist of hydrogen only.  And, every type of atomic elements is created from hydrogen through nuclear fusion in fixed stars or supernova explosion of  fixed stars.

So, every type of material on the earth, such as silver, gold, and uranium, was made of hydrogen.  In addition, on the earth, water is made of oxygen and hydrogen.  There are many types of molecules that include hydrogen.　

So, no matter how complicated and diversified the material world around us looks, every material is essentially made of hydrogen.  And, a hydrogen atom consists of one proton and one electron.  This is the fundamental element of our material world.

But we are surrounded by a great amount of chemicals and a myriad of living things.  Hydrogen can turn to such a huge number of types of chemicals and living things.  It is a miracle.  Every physical property and feature of a proton and an electron is pre-determined so as to allow for building of a huge number of types of chemicals and living things.  If we use millions of supercomputers, we cannot design a proton and an electron for the effect.  It must have been designed by God.

You may deny existence of God and think that this universe happened to be created with such a miracle proton and electron.  Yes, in an infinite number of trials of crating a universe, our universe might have been created with such a proton and an electron, all by chance.  But it does not guarantee that our souls could be born in such a very rare miracle universe.

The fact that we were born in such a very rare miracle universe means more reasonably that God created this universe for the purpose to allow human beings to be born there.

Without God, if a process of creating a universe from vacuum energy was repeated in an infinite number of times, this miracle universe with the miracle hydrogen could be created.  But this probability is almost zero.  And, the probability that our souls were born on a planet in the universe is also almost zero.  The fact that we live on the earth in this miracle universe proves that this universe and human beings, including us, were created by God on purpose.

Christ Jesus said to his disciples that they were like sheep among wolves.

Christ Jesus did not eat meat, though he might eat fish.  He did not eat beef and steak.  Does it mean meat-eating is an act of unholiness?

From the beginning, dose the nature need flesh-eating animals to suppress too much increase of grass-eating animals?　　However, according to a theory, animals are essentially flesh-eating, since they cannot take amino acid from grass.   Only special animals that keep in their digestive tracts some bacteria that produce amino acid from grass can live as grass-eating animals.

So, it seems that God created other animals in addition to plants so that men can eat them.  It might not be a sin at all for men to kill other animals to eat them.  And God might even allow flesh-eating animals to kill and eat grass-eating animals.  But there is a limit in killing other animals, of course.

For example, if white men with advanced weapons regard black men without effective weapons as living things inferior to them, the white men might enslave or kill the black men without the lash of their conscience.  If a man despises another too much to regard him as a fellow human being, he might kill the other like a flesh-eating animal killing a grass-eating animal.

So, a habit of meat-eating must be carefully observed.

God allowed human beings to kill and eat other animals.  But, through this habit, human beings developed skills of killing that could be easily directed to other human beings.

So, essentially human beings should not develop the skill and technology of killing more than that needed for killing other animals to eat them.  God must not have expected human beings to develop weapons so as to kill one another.

The world without weapons against other human beings must be a right one.

Christ Jesus said that if you had any little faith, you could move a mountain.

Nobody takes this teaching as it is literally.  Besides, you may wonder: Did Christ Jesus move any mountains?   Moving a mountain is just a parable for something great.  However, "move a mountain" might not necessarily mean "change the location of a mountain" but mean "shake a mountain."  It might mean that if we have any little faith, we can shake a volcano to have it erupt.

Mount Vesuvius is best known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and several other settlements. That eruption ejected a cloud of stones, ash, and fumes to a height of 33 km (20.5 mi), spewing molten rock and pulverized pumice at the rate of 1.5 million tons per second, ultimately releasing a hundred thousand times the thermal energy released by the Hiroshima bombing.[1] An estimated 16,000 people died due to hydrothermal pyroclastic flows.[2] The only surviving eyewitness account of the event consists of two letters by Pliny the Younger to the historian Tacitus.

Around AD 79, the first Jewish-Roman war had been ended with the victory of Roman troops over Judaists.  And, St. Paul and St. Peter had been already executed by the Roman authority in Rome.

So, somebody who took over the leadership of early Christians must have said to God in Rome after the fall of Jerusalem and the death of St. Paul and St. Peter: "Oh God, please show justice.  Romans destroyed Jerusalem and killed so many Isrealites.  Please bring justice to Romans.  Oh, God, if you admit my faith and approve my role to succeed St. Peter, please give me power to exercise a miracle to move a mountain!"

So, several years after the first Jewish-Roman war (the fall of Jerusalem) and the death of St. Paul and St. Peter, Mt. Vesuvius erupted near Pompeii in AD 79.

With this miracle, the foundation of the Vatican must have been set.

Or are there any other reasons for Mt. Vesuvius, a little close to Rome, to have erupted in AD 79?  So, this is one example that the teaching of Jesus, "if you had any little faith, you could move a mountain," came true in history.  Despite so many victims of the eruption, many early Christians in Rome must have strengthened their faith as they saw this miracle, since this miracle told that there was someone who had true faith among them.

When this universe was produced from vacuum energy about 14 billion years ago, a miracle occurred.

When this universe was first produced, no stars and galaxies might have been formed if too much or too little material had been included in the small universe at its birth.  If material was too much, the universe would have soon collapsed for its weight.  If material was too little, all the elements of the material should have flown at too high speed along with inflation and explosion of the universe, giving no chances to formation of stars and galaxies.

Accordingly, material or equivalent energy of the universe at its generation has to take a certain value.  But, of course, there is a range of error to the value.  But this allowed error is less than 10 to the power of minus 15 at one second after the emergence of the universe..

The distance between the earth and the sun is:
150,000,000,000,000 mm = 1.5 x 10^14

Therefore the precision required for our universe could produce stars and galaxies is equivalent to measurement of the distance from the earth to the sun to the order of 0.1 mm.

If the energy density N of the universe with the diameter of 1,000,000,000,000 km at one second after its birth is less than N - 0.00000000000001 or larger than N + 0.00000000000001 of a certain unit, no stars and galaxies can be generated in the universe.

It may translate into the error of the size within 1 meter against 10^15 meters of the size of the universe at one second after its birth.  In analogy, it is 0.1 mm against the distance between the earth and the sun.

For reference, the diameter of an atom is about 10^7 mm (0.000001 mm).  Mankind cannot control the length of the diameter of an atom multiplied by 10 to the power of minus 8.

Of course, the process of emergence of a universe from vacuum energy can be tried repeatedly 10^15 times.  But, we can call a phenomenon a miracle if it can happen only once in 1000 years (10^3 years).  It is more than  a miracle.

Only God can correctly set the energy density of the universe one second after its generation at the precision of one to 10^15 (0.000000000000001).

Or how can we believe that we happened to be born in such a miracle universe while other 1,000,000,000,000,000 universes failed?

Nobody thinks that mankind will still exist on the earth one billion years later, since at the time, the sun will be inflated to engulf Mercury and Venus.  All the water in the earth will evaporate and the temperature will rise too high for any living things to survive.

Or nobody today thinks that he or she will live for 150 years or more.  Though advancement of science may allow men to live for 150 years or more in the future, but it is unthinkable that any individual will be able to live for one billion years.

Besides, we see many people dying around us or in the Middle East and other war-torn regions. Anybody should die someday.  This is the surest fact, and the mankind will get extinct even after the end of the earth, since no living things seem to have basic conditions for survive for one billion years.  Even if our descendants should live one billion years later, they cannot be called human beings due to expected drastic change in their biological conditions.

So, we are all living in a limited space and a time window.  And, we are all destined to die someday.  But people don't think about much about their death and afterlife.

It is natural that we don't worry about our death in daily living, since we were born to live but not to die.  We are expected to concentrate on living.  But, it is still strange that we don't fully think about our death.

Especially, those who deny existence and power of God do not think about afterlife, since they think there is no afterlife.  In this context, for them, only things in this world have value.  There is nothing that can prevent them from chasing satisfaction of their desire as much as human and social conditions allow them to..

But, those who believe in God sometimes think about afterlife.  Since God is spirit, the core of a man is also spirit that is never terminated by biological death of his or her body.  They believe that their spirit will be allowed to enter Heaven if they hold fast their belief in God.  Then, for them, things in this world do not have ultimate value.  Things or phenomena they will encounter in after life must have ultimate value.  Accordingly, they will not be so greedy or get attached to satisfaction of their desire in this world.

Those who don't believe in God might think what is good in being good if a man dies and disappears forever.  They will become evil as much as they can be if they can satisfy their desire.

But those who believe in God think that God requests them to be good, since they were created by God as God loves them.

When the earth is broken two billion years later and the human species have also gone extinct somewhere in the universe, a textbook used by angels might read that mankind was created by love of God on the earth but they did not believe in God doing every evil thing to go extinct.

So, angels should be disgusted with the human species and God should naturally get angry.  God must think: "I loved the human species to given them human souls, but they were not grateful for My love!"

Therefore, those who do not believe in existence of God are enemies of God and those who believe in God.

This must also apply to those who call themselves Judaists, Christians, or Muslims.

If you are brought into a house where you are provided with foods and any entertainments you like, you still want to know where the house stands.  And if you find it is on a small island in the middle of the ocean and there are no means by which to get out of it, you may give up and start to eat foods and enjoy entertainments as long as you live.

But you will surely try to find who has brought you to the jail house in the solitary island far off in the ocean.  But you may soon give up your thinking and start enjoying foods and entertainments.

If you are accompanied by a group of people, there will be some dramas and various incidents involving all these people.  Then you may really forget that you are forced to live in the house as you are absorbed with human dramas going on in the house with the group of people.

Put simply, we human beings are living in such a way on this planet.  Our souls were brought to this planet and are forced to live as human beings.  We look up at the sky at night to see that this planet earth is completely isolated from other planets and stars.  Besides, we have foods and any types of entertainments.  And we are absorbed with incidents caused by us on the earth.

However, as the island and the house are surely monitored and observed by someone, this planet earth must be monitored and observed by God.

And, as that someone who brought you to the island and the house must expect you to think over and find who brought you to the solitary island and the mystery house and why he did so, God must expect human beings to think over who brought their souls to the planet earth and why.

We human beings are today behaving on this planet earth like people who are brought to the mysterious house in the solitary island far off in the ocean.

We have to stop eating favorite foods and enjoying entertainments and start to think about who God is and why He made us live on the earth.

The Gospels were written about 2000 years ago, but they are not obsolete today.

People, including Christ Jesus, did not use smartphones and other modern electronic appliances.  They did not eat meals today we eat.  They did not travel in jet planes.  They did not enjoy sport and entertainment programs on TV.  But every episode written in the Gospels can be fully understood by people of today.

However, today people with knowledge of modern science do not simply believe existence or work of ill spirits or angels.  People living in 2000 years ago apparently believed in what today's people regard as superstitions.  They included absurd ideas about the nature, but some of superstitions must have been really related to the spiritual world some people of today also believe.

The big difference between modern people and those who lived 2000 years ago must be the amount of time they think about God.

As we are today surrounded by many material products, we are busy handling them.  As we are today offered many occasions of enjoying entertainments, we are busy enjoying them.  As we can today travel so easily to far and various places, we are busy travelling and observing something foreign.  Consequently, we have less time for thinking about God.

Christ Jesus and His disciples walking wilderness or fields must have a plenty of time for thinking about God.  Probably they think about god for several hours per day.  But very few people today think about God for several hours per day.

Therefore to understand the Bible, we have to abandon modern material living to secure time for thinking about God.  Maybe if we come to think about God for as long hours as people did 2000 years ago, we would be able to correctly read the Bible.

In this context, hard working people must be very careful not to be led to a state where they have no time for thinking about God.  Satan must be able to control busy men easily.

So, not for men to get off guard against Satan, Christ Jesus said not to worry themselves and toil on.

Indeed, when a man is thinking about God, he must be protected from Satan.

No one wants to live poor.  But there are different ways of living among people.

Almost 10% of people would sell their souls to Satan if they can be rich.  And, almost 10% of people try to follow God as much as possible no matter how much they don't like poverty, though God tells them to live humble and poor.

And the rest of 80% people are afraid of Satan but they cannot fully accept the teaching of God.  Therefore, followers of Satan is predominant in the human world, though it does not collapse for their evil acts since some righteous people are making efforts to maintain any little justice and humanity.

But this relationship of people looking at God and other people looking at Satan may have some analogy with some physical issue.

In particle physics, antimatter is a material composed of antiparticles, which have the same mass as particles of ordinary matter but opposite charges, as well as other particle properties such as lepton and baryon numbers and quantum spin. Collisions between particles and antiparticles lead to the annihilation of both, giving rise to variable proportions of intense photons (gamma rays), neutrinos, and less massive particle–antiparticle pairs.

Maybe the human world today is in a process of annihilation of bad souls.  If a man with a good soul should encounter with a man with an evil soul, both might disappear leaving some sort of spiritual energy.  Or, if a good part of man's soul should collide with an evil part of his soul, both might disappear in his inner space.  But, in the long run, good souls would prevail as the physical universe is.

So, dualism is a profound root in humanity and the physical universe.

The religious dualism of Christianity between good and evil is not a perfect dualism as God (good) will inevitably destroy Satan (evil). Probably it is not right to think that a man should accept dualism, or both positive and negative or both holy and evil.  But it is right to think that a man should live as a process of erasing negative by positive or evil by goodness.

Anyway above the domain of dualism, there must be Heaven, and below the domain of dualism there must be the hell.

So, Christ Jesus said if we accumulated wealth in this world it would be rotten (by negative force), so that accumulate wealth in Heaven.

If you roll the dice 200 to 1200 times continually.  You may encounter a case that one-spot appears four times consecutively back-to-back.

And at the time, it does not necessarily mean that you have special ability.  It is a matter of probability.

In the human history of 2000 years, we might see emergence of such a man as Hitler or Napoleon.  But it does not necessarily mean that Hitler, Napoleon, or such a man is genius.  It is a matter of probability.

 So, you may say that the condition of a hero is that he is a right person in a right place at a right time.  As all the men have almost similar ability essentially as a member of the human species, the important factors for appearance of a hero are a situation and a timing.

For example, if Obama had been born a decade earlier or later, he should not have become US President.  He was a right person in a right place at a right timing in the 2008 US Presidential election.

So, in 4000 years of the human history, there is a possibility that a man like Abraham was born who was praised by God.  A man like Moses was born who was trusted by God.  And, a man like Muhammed was born who was given words of God.

But, it is unthinkable that a man like Christ Jesus was born who claimed that He was the Son of God or He was sent by God no matter if the human history becomes longer than 10,000, 100,000, 1 million, or 10 million years.

If Christ Jesus had not been born and Christianity had not been founded, this modern civilization should have been impossible.  The world of today must have been almost the same level of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago.  It is because the modern civilization owes its success to science, culture, and social systems of modern Europe that has been based on Christianity.

If living things continue evolution for a billion years, there is a chance that a species with higher intelligence would appear, and it might look like the human species.  But how the creature comes to develop its spiritual ability cannot be predicted.  They may not find God as their guide.  They may not have concepts of Heaven and the hell.  They may not obey ethical codes.  They may just end as intellectual apes but not as human beings.

The spiritual aspect of human beings seems to have been formed beyond a range where probability dominates.  It must be formed by interference of God.

If it is not realized by chance, there must be intention of somebody, God in this case.  But we cannot simply find with what intention God gave spiritual ability to mankind.

Anyway, this success of the human civilization is beyond a domain of probability in the nature.  We have to realize that mankind did not become mankind by its own intention or will.  We are just in the hand of God who can control any probability, since He is Almighty.

So, Christ Jesus appeared beyond the domain of probability 2000 years ago.

The Most Important Role of Religion

If a man was born in a specific environment, the man would be surely influenced by the environment.

If a man was born in Islamic society, he or she will surely become a Muslim without doubt.  But, if he or she was born in Jewish society, he or she will surely become a Judaist.

But when they grow up, in most cases they will not change their religions.  They may not deny other religions, but they will stick to religions under which they were born.

These religions may call real regions, since they are so real to their followers.

Conversely, basically, there is no absolute religion that would convince people of any real religions that there is more authentic religion, which is the absolute religion, than those they observe.  But, each prevailing real religion has an absolute influence on its followers, convincing them that it is definitely the right religion.

So, there are two conditions for any religion to be judged to be real religion.  First, it should capture the minds of almost all the members in a society where the religion prevails.  Second, it should still convince them, even after they have grown up, that the religion is the best one in the world.

Then, what will satisfy these conditions?  Or by what features, do real regions can meet these conditions?

It is God.  Any real religion must present God as real existence to followers.  As followers see or sense God through their religion, they believe that their religion is real.

Indeed, Judaism is based on the relationship between God and Judaists.  Christianity depends on the faith that Christ Jesus is God.  Islam is based on words of God.

Therefore, the role of real religions is to indicate God to people.  So, after followers see or sense God, these religions can be forgotten.  All people have to do is just directly follow teaching of God.

Put extremely, they don't have to any more follow rules, forms, ways, customs, rituals, or even some teachings of religions they follow that teach the way to God to them.  Because those rules, forms, customs, rituals, and teaching of the religions were introduced to cope with specific conditions and environments and reach the minds of people.  But now that, the religions show God to followers, they should be replaced with direct teaching from God.

In this context, those who identify themselves as Judaists, Christians, or Muslims have not yet fully comprehended God, so that they still stick to individual religions.

It is to prove existence of God that any religions exist.  The most important role of any religions is to tell people that God exists and God is the lord of mankind.  And if followers of any religions understand that God exists and God is the lord of mankind, they should leave the religions for God.

Put simply, Judaists, Christians, and Muslims must take a step forward leaving their religions toward God.

Then to call oneself a Judaist, a Christian, or a Muslim means that he or she does not fully understand God and thus it may be a shame.

If people fully understand and obey God, they must feel ashamed if they happen to call themselves Judaists, Christians, or Muslims.

Christ Jesus was Sent by God

One of the most important statements of Christ Jesus is that He had been sent by God to this world.

First of all, we have to decide to accept this statement or not.  If we don't accept this statement, we may naturally conclude that there is no God and thus Christ Jesus told a lie or the whole Christianity is based on such a lie.

Then, how do we live after denying the statement by Christ Jesus?  There is no God, we naturally think, in this world and universe.  No one is watching us; no one judges us; and no one punishes us no matter how evil things we do.  We, the human beings, must be the highest existence in this universe.  No matter how much we do evil things to make money, ultimately nothing and nobody can judge and punish us.

But we may afraid that if everyone starts to behave so badly and so violently, order will be lost in this world.  To enjoy wealth civilization produces, we have to maintain order in this world.  But if everyone denies God and starts to behave like a gangster, no civilization can be maintained and thus we cannot enjoy products and services civilization produces.

What is worse, if everybody thinks that if he or she kills and harms other, no one can punish him or her, there will be no order, no peace, no safety and no hope in everybody's living.  People try to attack others to rob them of their assets.  At every corner of a village, a town or a city, there will be violent crimes.  And no one will hesitate to tell a lie and dupe others to steal money.

So, rulers in the godless and faithless world would resort to stronger violence and laws and regulations to govern people.  But as the communist countries failed in the 20th century, rule of violence, fear, and man-made ideology cannot last long.

Accordingly, rulers in this godless and faithless world are using religion and any good nature of people to govern them.  But they use them as a means to secure order.  So, no matter how much they say they respect religion, justice, and humanity, they don't love them and believe in them.  For them, even Christianity is a means to control people.

In other word, to give authority to laws and regulations, they need a concept of God.  To encourage people to behave orderly, they pretend to respect ethics rooted in faith in God.

However, their true thought is that they need money to enjoy living.  But to establish and keep society where money economy works, order is needed.  To maintain order, Christianity and other religions are useful.  Anyway, they must think, there is no God in this universe.

But, this abuse of religions cannot last long.  Desire of people is not limited.  But the larger desire gets, the larger false religions must be to secure order and prevent mutual destruction among greedy people.  This balance will be broken someday.  Then, order will not be maintained any more.  People will start to attack one another with bare violence for money or the like.

It tells that we will perish someday if we don't accept the statement of Christ Jesus.  But if we accept it, we will be able to live simply peacefully but humbly.  By accepting the statement, we can survive and evolve eternally.

So, one of the most important statements of Christ Jesus is that He had been sent by God to this world.

Christ Jesus told not to worry yourself but see the flowers along roadsides and the birds in the sky.

The opposite to this landscape is competition in society for money or positions.  It means that Christ Jesus is against competition among people in society.  Nobody should not worry himself to win competition in business or daily matters.  Indeed, no flowers and no birds look competing with one another.

It is fear that drives people to competition.  While others are trying hard to get money and higher status, how can a man look at flowers and birds like a fool.  If he becomes the last in competition, he cannot be rich and he cannot protect himself from others.  For this fear, every one is competing and toiling on.

However, people will say that competition is an engine that push the society forward and produce more useful goods and services along with development of technology and business.  And, those who win competition are those who contribute the most to advancement of the society.  Therefore, winners of competition, they argue, are entitled to get big rewards such as big money and great honor.

But, what Christ Jesus told is that advancement of the human society must be promoted through different means than sinful competition.  It is not a goal but a process that is important.

The value of lives of righteous people who lived, say, 2000 years ago without modern products and services must be higher that that of lives of  sinful rich men, namely winners of competition, of today.  

Human being can be blessed in their living without products of modern technologies that have been invented and realized through sinful competition.

Freedom does not necessarily need competition.  The free market economy can be realized without competition.
 
In other word, Christ Jesus is apparently against the economic system of today that is based on competition among people.

Without authority, a nation cannot be governed.

In older days, kings and emperors also needed spiritual authority to stand above their people.  If their people admitted the spiritual authority, they would not become rebellious.  So, any kingdoms or nations needed religions.  And, kings and emperors should act as the highest priests of the religions.

It was observed in ancient Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, ancient India, ancient China, etc.  Even ancient Greek had its myth.  But, leaders of ancient Greek cities were not representative priests of their religion.  Leaders of ancient Rome were not oracles or flamens.

In this context, the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations are unique.  Accordingly, from these civilizations, some cultural works that are still influential in today's world were generated.

In other words, except ancient Greek and Rome, the work of minds of people were confined by their religions.  But, ancient Greeks and Romans were given more freedom in their minds.  It is because their religions were not so binding.

Ancient Greeks were conquered by ancient Romans who had more freedom in their mentality.  But ancient Romans were conquered by tribes coming from the central Asia who must have had more freedom in their mentality.

After the fall of the Roman Empire, Christianity fully penetrated into Europe.  Christianity set free Europeans from more binding religions of their ancestors.  It worked in a manner of allowing them to raise their living standard and social structure to relatively civilized levels, though the era is called the dark Middle Ages.  And, eventually, when the Renaissance began, it gave more freedom to their mentality, and Europeans started to develop their modern civilization.

Even in the modern history, the US with more freedom in mentality could defeat Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan as well as the Soviet Union (in the Cold War).  Indeed, Christianity in the US gives more freedom to people's mentality than the Vatican does.

Religions adopted by kings and emperors to justify their rule were extremely binding.  They even suppressed free mental work of their people.  No paradigm changes were expected.  But ancient Romans and Greeks were under less binding spiritual conditions; that is why they succeeded culturally, politically, and militarily.

The modern Europe and America have had less binding Christianity; that is why they have succeeded in various aspects of civilization.

But Christianity essentially gives more freedom to the mentality of people.  It allows people to be free from more deeply rooted paradigm of humanity and human society than any old religions.

Therefore for mankind to survive and sustain themselves toward future, this unique characteristic or aspect of Christianity should play a more important role.  Conversely, future Christianity must allow people to be freed from the most conventional paradigm about human lives and human society.

In this context, the new spiritual movement for more freedom in line with the teaching of Christ Jesus may arise in the US rather than in the Vatican.  The Vatican must undergo a great paradigm change.

There is a parable Christ Jesus mentioned that an owner of a vine yard had his revenge on workers of the vine yard who killed servants and a son of the owner.  The owner sent them to the vine yard with expectation that those workers would respect the servants and his son, though the bad workers killed them to take the vine yard out of the owner.  Eventually the owner sent a band of his men to the vine yard to execute the rebellious workers.

Apparently the owner of the vine yard is God; the vine yard is this world; and his son is Christ Jesus.

Indeed, as mankind killed the Son of God who sent His Son with expectation that mankind would respect His Son, God would sent the army of Heaven to destroy mankind.

If you think that God really exists and He really sent His Son to the human world, but mankind killed His Son, namely Christ Jesus, who talked about the said parable before He was killed by mankind, you must be afraid of revenge by God.  However, 2000 years after the death of Christ Jesus, mankind still exists.  But can you be sure that God never revenges Himself on mankind?

Christians mean those who believe in Christ Jesus and believe the vineyard parable He told.  Therefore Christians mean those who are always extremely sorry for God and are afraid of a coming vengeance by God.  So, true Christians cannot enjoy their lives as the sin of mankind is so grave.  While mankind has put God into a rage, how can they enjoy living?

But strangely, no Christians show their remorse and repentance openly in or outside churches.  And more strangely, Christians are praying to God so that He would save them from any danger while they do not apologize to God for the murder of His Son.  How can God love these selfish and foolish Christians?  And, what is worse, there are much more people who do not even think that mankind ever killed the Son of God.  They are still continuing arrogant and sinful lives.

So, it is apparent that what is requested from mankind is fear, awe, and dread of God who should surely take out His revenge on mankind someday.

However, God seems to be extremely benevolent and merciful to mankind.  He seems to have given mankind enough time.  So, after the killing of God's Son, mankind could survive 2000 years.  But, the time limit may be close to us.

This universe was created by God.  This planet earth was also created by God.  And, on the earth in the universe, there living is mankind who killed the Son of God who kindly visited the human world to correct evil behaviors of mankind and save victims of evil deeds of mankind.  And, this mankind has not fully repent for 2000 years!  Such a species must not be allowed to exist on the earth in the universe God created.  It is logical and natural.  God should put an end to the history of mankind someday.

So, the issue is when and how God will take His revenge on mankind.

Truly without evil mankind is generating on the earth, the universe must look finer to the eyes of God.

Prophecy of the Popes

The Prophecy of the Popes (Latin: Prophetia Sancti Malachiae Archiepiscopi, de Summis Pontificibus) is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases in Latin which purport to predict the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Pope Celestine II. 


The prophecies conclude with a pope identified as "Peter the Roman", whose pontificate will allegedly precede the destruction of the city of Rome.[

In recent times some interpreters of prophetic literature have drawn attention to the prophecies due to their imminent conclusion; if the list of descriptions is matched on a one-to-one basis to the list of historic popes since the prophecies' publication, Benedict XVI (2005–13) would correspond to the second to last of the papal descriptions, Gloria olivae (the glory of the olive).[13] The longest and final prophecy predicts the Apocalypse:[14]

In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit.

Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus, quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & judex tremendus judicabit populum suum. Finis.

This may be translated into English as:

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.[15]

Several historians and interpreters of the prophecies note that they leave open the possibility of unlisted popes between "the glory of the olive" and the final pope, "Peter the Roman".[6][16] In the Lignum Vitae, the line In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit. forms a separate sentence and paragraph of its own. While often read as part of the "Peter the Roman" prophecy, other interpreters view it as a separate, incomplete sentence explicitly referring to additional popes between "the glory of the olive" and "Peter the Roman".[1]

Anti-Christian movement is the core of globalization of economy, commercialism, and advanced financial business.

However, anti-Christian movements in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were already demolished in the 20th century.

In capitalism and the free market system, it is thought to be the right thing to sell goods more and more.  To sell goods and services in increasing amounts, goods and services must be first wanted by consumers.  Therefore, businesses use advertisement to arouse lust in the minds of consumers.  To  stir desire of consumers and make them buy goods and services is a common technique of businesses.  But desire and lust are hated by Christ Jesus, since they drive people to selfish ways of living, negligence of others, and love to money, and hate to righteousness.

If you see TV today, you are forced to see various CM where naked women, abnormal guys, sinful riches, and violence are used as a means to get attention of watchers and seduce them  from humble, righteous, and simple lives.

As long as anti-Christian commercialism is prevailing in Europe and America, they cannot be free from terror since terrorists are also under influence of Western anti-Christian movement.

As to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we beg you, brothers and sisters, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as though from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here. Indeed, there is nobody in governments, central banks, financial institutes, and financial markets who are engaged in their business to carry their duties in lined with the teaching of God.

Indeed, there is nobody in businesses who manage their operation in lined with the teaching of God.

They all aim to increase wealth of themselves, and they use anti-Christian advertisement as their means to sell their goods and services and earn big profits.

Any person trying to be rich without following the teaching of God is anti-Christian, but as systems and organizations, some people are chasing wealth, which is a graver type of anti-Christ movement.

As Islam is more  ascetic, terrorists from the Islamic environment would easily justify their evil act: Corrupt and rotten Western society must be punished by Allah or followers of Allah.

The Western society has to abandon anti-Christian commercialism even to avoid such terror.
