"Simon, (whom he also named Peter,)" - (Language and Religion)

To Tokyo Station...

Language and Religion (Langue et religion)

First names of Europeans and people of European ancestry look limited in their variety.

It is so as they are mostly from the Bible.

But, first names of the Japanese people are almost countless as with their family names. Especially girls have names of a wider range of variety. Yet, it is unthinkable that a Japanese man has Simon as his first name and a Japanese woman Elizabeth.

Yet, a ratio of Japanese men who resemble Judas Iscariot among all the male Japanese might not be so different from the ratio in Israel of today or in the Vatican of today.

And, it is said that Japanese Catholics are given Christian names by church, such as Paul. So, always the Bible is above so-called Christians. Yet, the Bible is for a man and a man is not for the Bible.

In this context, President Mr. Barack Obama has really opened a new era in the U.S. Only with his name, the President might have a significant influence in the American society. But can American Christians accept it for another four years from 2013?

SECTION I: Journey of Language

All the people living in the world today has a mitochondria-genic connection to one woman (Mitochondria Eve) who lived 200,000 years ago in Africa, though 600,000 to 350,000 years ago the modern human beings and Neanderthal men partially split as the latter started to move out of Africa earlier.

Then 150,000 years ago a crisis occurred in Africa reducing the number of the modern human beings. After conquering it, 120,000 years ago some human beings left Africa to the Arabian Peninsula (another wave of an exodus from Africa occurred 60,000 years ago after another crisis on the modern human beings in Africa 74,000 years ago). Subsequently, 70,000 years ago ancestors of Europeans and Asians were split. 40,000 years ago, the modern human beings started to prevail in Europe and Australia. 30,000 years ago, Neanderthal men went extinct leaving some DNA in the modern human beings.

Yet, it is unknown whether or not language was used by Mitochondria Eve or even by Neanderthal men.
Is this how Eve spoke? Every human language evolved from 'single prehistoric African mother tongue'

NUMBER OF PHONEMES IN LANGUAGES AROUND THE WORLD
Phonemes are the distinct sounds used in 504 languages from around the world. The number of sounds varies hugely from language to language.
The number of distinct sounds in a language tends to increase the closer it is to sub-Saharan Africa, according to the study.

Scientists have found that every language can be traced back to a long-forgotten dialect spoken by our Stone Age ancestors in Africa. The further away from Africa a language is spoken, the fewer distinct sounds - or phonemes - it has

What I want to emphasize is that the Japanese language is the only major language among those of highly civilized peoples in the world that has 20 or less than 20 phonemes. Accordingly, it is proved that the number of phonemes has nothing to do with a level of culture of a tribe who use a language with any number of phonemes.

Conversely, the Japanese are more distant from Africans than Europeans, Arabs, Hindus, Chinese, and even Koreans. Rather, Japanese are close to native tribes in North and South Americas or Pacific Islanders. It also means that the Japanese Archipelago is fairly separated from the Eurasia Continent in terms of human communications despite its relative geological closeness to the continent unlike Australia and Americas.

And a fact that a despite this large disparity concerning phonemes among world languages every tribe and cultural group are on the same intellectual level means that a language was already used before the modern human beings started to split from Africa 120,000 years ago.

And a fact that the modern human beings, especially Europeans, carry part of DNA of Neanderthal men means that Neanderthal men also used a language.

SECTION II: Palestine 80,000 Years Ago

100,000 years ago the modern human beings appeared in Palestine or the Middle East.

Accordingly, the modern human beings and Neanderthal men coexisted there for next 20,000 years.

Then, the modern human beings left Palestine to leave Neanderthal men only in Palestine.

However, 42,000 year ago, the modern human beings returned to Palestine, while Neanderthal men went extinct 30,000 years ago.

This history means that the modern human beings and Neanderthal men established the first primary religion together. In my theory, this history suggests that a sense of religion emerged while the modern human beings and Neanderthal men lived together in Palestine 100,000 years to 80,000 years ago.

But as time went by, a difference came to appear between religions of the modern human beings and Neanderthal men, so that they separated. But, when the modern human beings came back to Palestine 42,000 year ago, the difference became so dangerous to Neanderthal men. The modern human beings did not respect Neanderthal men any more, driving them to extinction.

Yet, religion of the modern human beings was first established on Palestine in cooperation with Neanderthal men. In this context Palestine was more important and holy than ancient Mesopotamia or Egypt.

Accordingly, Abraham was called to Palestine. Moses came out to Palestine. And, Christ Jesus was born in Palestine.

It is so, since the modern human beings and Neanderthal men established the first primary religion together in Palestine 80,000 years ago.

This is one of my hypotheses about the origin of the human religion and significance of Palestine in the human history that can be traced back for 80,000 years.

For example, religions among Africans are less influenced by Neanderthal factors so that there is a gap in terms of religion between non-Africans and Africans even in these 2000 years.

Another example is that some languages even used today in Europe show a possible influence of Neanderthal factors.

Note that Israel is a place where some valuable bones of Neanderthal men were excavated.

SECTION III: Cuneiform, Phoenician Alphabet, and Paleo-Hebrew

Original Hebrew letters are a derivative of the Phoenician alphabet which took over Cuneiform script invented by Sumerians.

Though the Phoenician alphabet is not linked with Cuneiform script, even Hebrew letters today seem to carry some fundamental similarity to Cuneiform script.
Cuneiform script is one of the earliest known forms of written expression. Emerging in Sumer around the 30th century BC, with predecessors reaching into the late 4th millennium (the Uruk IV period), cuneiform writing began as a system of pictographs....

The archaic cuneiform script was adopted by the Akkadians from ca. 2500 BC, and by 2000 BC had evolved into Old Assyrian cuneiform, with many modifications to Sumerian orthography.

Cuneiform writing was gradually replaced by the Phoenician alphabet during the Neo-Assyrian Empire, and by the 2nd century AD, the script had become extinct.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuneiform_script

When the Phoenician alphabet was first uncovered in the 19th century, its origins were unknown. Scholars at first believed that the script was a direct variation of Egyptian hieroglyphs.[2] This idea was especially popular due to the recent decipherment of hieroglyphs. However, scholars could not find any link between the two writing systems. Certain scholars[who?] hypothesized ties with Hieratic, Cuneiform, or even an independent creation, perhaps inspired by some other writing system. The theories of independent creation ranged from the idea of a single man conceiving it, to the Hyksos people forming it from corrupt Egyptian.

The Paleo-Hebrew alphabet (Hebrew: כתב עברי עתיק‎), is an abjad offshoot of the ancient Semitic alphabet, identical to the Phoenician alphabet. At the very least it dates to the 10th century BCE. It was used as the main vehicle for writing the Hebrew language by the Israelites, both Jews and Samaritans.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleo-Hebrew_alphabet

The Hebrew alphabet (Hebrew: אָלֶף־בֵּית עִבְרִי‎‎[a], Alephbet 'Ivri), known variously by scholars as the Jewish script, square script, block script, or more historically, the Assyrian script, is used in the writing of the Hebrew language, as well as other Jewish languages, most notably Yiddish, Ladino, and Judeo-Arabic.

It is impossible that Abraham, the great first believer of the God, was from nowhere among nomads without any past glory. The Sumerian Civilization is very suitable for his root and background as he was a mere guest in Egypt. Everything about Abraham and thus Hebrews must be studied in line with this notion.
